Stayed
this
weekend.
Parking
is
easy
enough,
£20
charges
for
overnight.
Easy
to
book,
check
in
was
straight
forward.
Staff
were
polite
and
professional.
Booked
a
slot
to
use
the
spa,
easy
enough
to
do.
It’s
very
clean,
looks
beautiful
and
well
presented.
Unfortunately
there
was
no
steam
room
available
for
the
ladies.
There
was
a
very
unpleasant
smell
hanging
around
the
changing
rooms.
We
had
2
swimming
sessions,
5pm
which
was
very
busy
and
7:30am
the
next
day,
which
was
extremely
relaxing,
very
quiet
and
calm,
however
the
smell
was
more
potent
in
the
morning.
The
reason
for
the
two
star
for
the
room
and
service,
unfortunately
the
heating
wasn’t
working.
I
needed
to
call
for
help
3
times,
second
time
we
had
maintenance
out
who
supplied
a
heater,
and
informed
us
of
an
issue
with
the
compressor,
they
said
it
would
get
resolved
quickly.
I
then
had
to
call
again
around
and
hour
later,
due
to
the
cold
draft
in
the
room,
was
informed
someone
would
come
straight
away.
No
one
even
attempted
to
come.
We
had
breakfast
booked
for
10:15,
arrived
a
little
earlier,
greeted
well,
sat
in
a
busy
restaurant.
The
selection
is
good,
however
the
full
English
was
very
rationed
and
the
queues
were
big,
lots
of
people
waiting
around
for
it
to
be
restocked.
Pastries
weren’t
restocked
due
to
times.
Juices
were
empty,
water
was
empty.
Nice
enough
when
restocked,
but
not
very
warm.
Hot
chocolate
was
lovely.
Perhaps
a
Saturday
morning
is
just
a
very
busy
day
for
CM.
Staff
always
pleasant
and
polite,
lots
of
smiles
and
friendly
feels.
Grounds
are
absolutely
stunning
with
lovely
views.
Unsure
if
we
would
return,
could
only
hope
if
we
did
it
would
be
better.
