I don't often take time to write reviews but I absolutely love this place. Best Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. Guacamole is so good, margaritas are great, they have many delicious and creative options for vegetarians (often hard to find with mx food), service is good, and the ambience both inside the dining room and on the patio is absolutely lovely.

Looking at the other reviews, it seems I am not the only one with an issue regarding the bill! I ordered the enchiladas suizas with an additional enchilada for takeout. The lady over the phone was very nice. The food looked really nice, but was a bit bland. Unfortunately there aren’t many other Mexican restaurants in the newton area that serve more than just burritos and tacos. My issue is with the $39 bill my mom came back with. The enchiladas suizas are normally only $21+tax on grub hub. I called back because I thought they charged for the wrong order, but the lady informed me they charged $13 for the extra enchilada. It seems they tagged a couple dollars on top of that too since $21+$13=$34. If I had known I would have placed two orders of enchiladas for nearly the same price on grubhub. Or better yet, ordered from another restaurant.

I got the beef quesodilla and my lovely date got the shrimp tacos. They were busy so the service was a little slow however they were moving, so it's no fault on the staff. Overall the food was okay, it came out warm not hot. The drinks were really delicious which probably made the food a little better. Overall experience was pretty okay.

Food was very bland. High prices for the quality of the food. I got street corn and a chicken quesadilla. Meat was dry and unseasoned. Street corn tasted like burnt popcorn. Asked for a side of sour cream and that was $3. Very excessive for a side of sc if you ask me. And the service was pretty bad. Server didn't check on us a single time, had to flag her down just to get water refills. Definitely won't be returning.

We've been customers for 30+ years and still really enjoy this restaurant. Traditional Mexican food is authentically prepared with fresh ingredients. Their mole sauce tastes just like it should which today is a rarity. Our favorite restaurant for traditional Mexican fare.

Great service and all of the food was delicious. Definitely a place to come in for lunch or dinner in the area. The Cadillac margarita is the best one. I tried the spicy and ancho chili margarita and they didn’t have much spice or smokiness to them.

Way overpriced . We just got fajitas & our son a quesadilla and a couple drinks... $150??? Not worth it. It shouldn't be gourmet prices if it's just regular Mexican food.

Good food, nice on the patio. Poorly trained waitress. Biggest complaint is 12 beers on the menu and not one non-alcoholic beer. In this day and age of designated drivers and people giving up alcohol and with so many good NA beers available, why is it so hard to have nonalcoholic beer?!
