😐 My overall experience with the staff has been really good. But some of the GPs need to learn leaving their ego outside while they supposed to help and guide their patients. Let’s give an example from one of my recent experiences with a GP (No need to mention a name) I went there with heart related... People often mention appointment, doctor, clinic, time, experience, hour, staff, call, didn, told,

This is the worst GP clinic in Adelaide. If you enjoy spending two hours waiting for your appointment, then come here. What is the point of making an appointment if I am going to be seen an hour or two later? I have been coming to Dr. Channa Fernando for five years, and the wait times used to be around 20 to 30 minutes, but now they have increased to an hour or two. The front desk also forgot to put me on the waiting list, so the GP did not know I was here. They are chit-chatting and giggling instead of making sure the appointments are moving along in a timely manner. Ridiculous. I will never come back here again.

My overall experience with the staff has been really good. But some of the GPs need to learn leaving their ego outside while they supposed to help and guide their patients. Let’s give an example from one of my recent experiences with a GP (No need to mention a name) I went there with heart related issues and wanted to get a referral ASAP for a cardiologist. He refused to give me a referral because he wanted to see my blood test and some other test results first which is fine but we’re talking about heart related stuff. I had to have an argument with him to get a referral and he was still talking about his medicine degree etc. Long story short, I got my referral from him and see the cardiologist. First of all, the blood test that I’m requested by the cardiologist has no common item with the blood test requested by the GP. And now I’m taking medication to get rid of an inflammation around my heart. I will definitely visit again to City Clinic but not this particular GP anymore. I genuinely respect all the GPs and their education/knowledge. However, they really need to leave their ego outside and try to really help people. Then people will stop seeing them as a referral machine. I hope he’ll read this review and take it as a constructive feedback.

Not trustable clinic! Booked a Friday appointment with my regular GP, received the confirmation email. At the appointment time found he doesn't work, NO any forms of notice. Changed to Saturday phone call appointment with the female GP, bad line, phone call was hung up when I was still talking. Tried yo call either clinic and gp private number few times the whole afternoon, couldn't reach. Now , I am living in HOSPITAL ward. Thanks clinic, well done!

Booked an appointment for the vaccination. Wait for a long time and doctor was busy. I lived in country side. There was a last bus and I didn’t want to miss the bus and injections also needs refrigerated. So I leave the injections over there and next day called them for the telehealth appointment as I needed medical certificate. They refused to book an appointment and said you are not a regular patient. They didn’t even understand it was there fault for all this messed up. Poor management.

Usually I go with Dr Channa Fernando which is a lovely and professional Doctor. Today I went for an emergency with doctor Ramesh and he send me home without a proper diagnosis or asking me to go deep with my problem. I really felt dismissed having a serious back pain which not allowed me to walk. I do not recommend this doctor. Really unprofessional.

To Dr. Reza Amamdad I cannot emphasize enough how perilous my encounter with this doctor was. He rushed through my examination, He didn’t take at least 5min, he delivered an incorrect diagnosis, and carelessly advised me to return to work within days. Had I followed their advice, the consequences could have been permanent. Thankfully, I sought a second opinion from another GP in another clinic. The new doctor quickly asked for a X Ray and identified a fractured clavicle, a condition completely overlooked by dr Reza. Thanks to this timely intervention, I am now free from complications that could have arisen from dr Reza negligence. I implore anyone considering this doctor to exercise extreme caution. Seek care from a professional who prioritizes accurate diagnoses and patient well-being.

Dr . FAISAL Refereed me C.P.TAN 4 months ago , that doctor took my money and cancel appointment for no reason , again DR. FAISAL referred Adelaide public hospital and suggested me that I don’t need any consultation now but Adelaide public hospital told me I need so after 4 months , after spending more than 1k I am still here with no surgery and this city clinic is not responding properly as well, thank you so much for making business like this so you can rip off my hard working money maybe you did with other people too . Please don’t refer doctors like C.P.TAN.

Appalling attitude from Dr Marimuthu Ramesh, the patronising, condescending attitude from this GP spoke volumes. I walked out of the 'consultation' after he refused to give me a script I had previously been given for the exact same symptoms. The eye rolling, the statement 'I'm the doctor', really?? is that professional? Do you actually think you are better than your patients?? Clearly his career hasn't exactly taken off and I can see why from his pompous attitude. Thankfully I went to another GP and was not only listened to but they confirmed my condition and prescribed the antibiotics I needed. Dr Ramesh needs to learn how to talk to patients with respect and understand he isn't the all knowing demi God he clearly thinks he is. Successful Doctors are respectful and have a good rapport with their patients. Dr Ramesh isn't one of them. Avoid him.

I wouldn’t give 1 star … I had an appointment with Dr Arun Singla at 8:30 pm on Friday night. At 8:15 he called me if I’m still coming to my 8:20 appointment? I told him my appointment is 8:30.and he said no it’s 8:20 with grumpy voice, and I said I’m for sure the lady at reception told me 8:30 is the only available for today. I told him anyway I’m on the way, will be there soon.I arrived front of the clinic 8:30 unluckily was Friday night there were no car park spot around…and I had to U turn and park 2 blocks away and walk back to clinic , arrived at 8:33 the door was locked and there were reception guy inside told me DR Arun just left now…I was late 3 min but “HE KNEW “that I’m on the way and didn’t wait or he could call me before he leaves… AND it wasn’t only things that disappointed me!!! I dropped off my check up sample same day afternoon and they forgot to put name on it and lost it… When I dropped off the sample the lady at reception was rude and told me oh just leave it in the box on the bench over there, and she even didn’t check And then they told me sorry we don’t have your sample. Very poor management… I have another bad experience with you. there was another patient has same name as me and the reception swapped mine and her Bupa card!and lost mine …They didn’t call or update me for more than 1 month. When I got influenza I really needed my Bupa card…so I call them asked where is my card ?I wasn’t feeling well and upset that they didn’t say anything for a month and the lady was laughing at me and said oh your card if front of me you can pick up. Is it funny??NO! How rude is she! I can’t recommend City clinic but unfortunately for us international We don’t have many options…if anyone knows there is another bulk bill GP please let me know. Dear manager or job owner please improve your management and customer service.

I dont understand why there is a booking system. Booked twice but haven't been called on time, always had to wait at least 25 mins. People do booking appointment to be treated on the selected time. Very disappointing. They should put walk in patients after the booked in patients. Do not recommend when you run out of time. You will have to have at least 40 mins after you arrive here. I was here at 2:10 today and it is 2:50 now. My appointment was at 2:20pm. I am still waiting.

I had an appointment with Dr Arun Singla and it was a really bad experience. One hour and twenty minutes late, very rude and didn’t even listened to me. There is nothing worse than being unwell and have to deal with a rude doctor.

Dr Channa Fernando is honestly the best doctor I have ever come across. He is a magnificently kind human being, very caring and down to earth, and made me feel so comfortable from my very first appointment. I cannot recommend him highly enough. The reception staff have always been wonderful, Danielle and Jess are brilliant. I've always found free parking out the front and never had an issue with the city location. Excellent Clinic. All my best to the team there :)

I would like to give a five-star comments to Doctor Raj, this is because two times to see him, he always explained carefully and detailed with everything where I didn’t understand about my CT report. He is really patient with all my questions and explained both the reasons and affects. Give me first step of advice, physical therapy and see specialist for furthering 👍👍👍

Shocking experience. 2 mins appointment with him and walked out with a heavier headache. Do not recommend to see Dr Marimuthu Ramesh. Really unprofessional. See many bad reviews below about him. Avoid at all costs. That's why he has so many spots available compare to other good Drs.

The doctor didn’t wash his hands nor wear glove before remove the splinter from my hand. Even he used a used alcohol swab to cover my wound after took up the splinter to stop the bleeding. While there’s a box tissue right next to it. Also didn’t wash his hand and clean my skin before ADT vaccine injection. Even I asked “does it need to be sanitised?” The doctor simply said “no need” Very unprofessional as a doctor himself.

Bad experience, I got a fever and booked for an appointment in the morning, I called them 20 minutes before the appointment to double confirm and they just told me the doctor was sick and have to re book again. That reason is so ridiculous. 20 mins before the appointment, still without any notice !! I knew some clinics weren't seeing people with cold and hot symptoms, but nobody even mentioned about that!

Booked an appointment here due to a severe migraine. I was recovering from the flu so still had a persistent cough, but had taken multiple negative RATs the week beforehand. I knew some clinics weren't seeing people with cold symptoms, so I called the clinic before my appt and was reassured that due to all the RATs being negative, I was fine to come in and see the doctor. After waiting an hour past my appt time, the Dr takes me in - first thing she asks is if I have Covid symptoms. I say yes but I've tested negative, and she asks for the PCR results - I say I don't have PCR results, receptionists said I was fine to come in with multiple negative RATs. Also, I was there about a 3-day long excruciating migraine, which was unrelated to my cough. Dr - who is incorrectly wearing her own face mask - refuses to go near me, shining a light in my eyes from about a metre away. She is extremely annoyed and scolds me for coming in, telling me that the admin had no idea what they were doing and I should've known better. Sends me away after less than 2 mins and no proper examination - she gave me a script for my migraine at least (but she handed it to my partner, not me). Won't be returning here again after this unpleasant experience.

Doctor put me on antibiotics that my infection was resistant to, City Clinic staff did not even bother to send my tests off to Clinical Labs to find the right antibiotics! I ended up having to go to hospital due to the infection worsening. Very rushed consult, not at all thorough and no follow through. Will not be returning.

Professional with a capital P, R,O! the Professional Doctors therapists and Reception in this Clinic are also very clean and spotless like a brand-new iPhone right out of the box fresh! like peeling the protective cover from the screen. They reveal to you what you require for better life and recovery from illness they do not mince words or make assumptions regarding any illness, you are not just another patient you are treated like you are having a human experience. Above all they are very friendly caring and calming and have chosen the profession not for money but to be helpful to the people of the world. I believe they have chosen their profession very wisely, I would give 10 stars but only allowed 5 but I will say 15 Stars ad my 10 to the 5 google allow for a score of “15”. The current receptionists are very lazy. (Specially the chubby reception guy) They don’t take the job seriously. They have unprofessional attitude behind the counter (talking and giggling) Doctors don’t call back as their scheduled telephone appointment. Doctors try to rush you out quickly. They are more focused on typing notes on the computer, No sense of urgency or priority.

I popped in here at 9:30am this morning after waiting 1 hour for a blood test around the corner at City Medical Centre, to no avail. I pressed the buzzer and was served in 1 minute, in and out in 5 minutes. The male phlebotomist who served me today was very kind and caring. It was a highly convenient and positive experience. Recommend.

Normally we see Dr Channa Fernando. but Booked with a different GP an appointment for 11.10AM and ended up seeing the GP at 12.15PM. Wait time is more than an hour. Hope the Management would do something useful to improve this issue. Sick people shouldn’t wait that long to see a GP in my opinion.

They arranged a Telehealth appointment because the doctor at the face to face appointment flat out refused to give me a prescription for medication I was already receiving and had been prescribed from their clinic many times. She made this massive deal, so I said I’ll do the Telehealth appointment. They never bothered to call, and this is medication that I actually need. And I couldn’t get an appointment anywhere else at that late in the day. Obviously, they don’t really care.

I saw a GP this Tuesday and Wednesday due to a persistent cough caused by a cold. The GP, only based on my initial visit, diagnosed it as a bacterial infection without conducting any blood tests and prescribed antibiotics. As I didn't see improvement, I sought a second opinion from another GP who informed me that determining bacterial infection without tests is not reliable. Currently, I must complete the full course of antibiotics. I just wanted to express my hope that doctors at this clinic exercise more responsibility when prescribing medication, avoiding arbitrary prescriptions, and kindly inquire about patients' allergies.

Booked in for 3 phone consultations to get some results and a repeat prescription. Was called once out of these 3 occasions and was told I needed to come in to get a prescription after a receptionist told me that wasn’t a requirement. Booked in this morning at 9am for the first consultation of the day it’s 10:10am and I still haven’t been seen. Left the practice as, anyone can relate to, I have other errands.

Website and Google says they’re open on Sundays. I called at 10.15am (says they open at 10), then spent 20 minutes on hold. Finally got through and they have the phones diverted to the National Doctor Service which means I can speak to anyone at the actual clinic or make an appointment. Are you open on Sundays, do you answer your phones? What a waste of time when you have a sick child

Travelling to Qld from Western Australia and needed to find a doctor as I had an eye infection. Fantastic service from the moment I walked in. The Receptionist was amazing-she was assisting someone in a wheelchair, to fill out a form. She was very patient and kind. First impressions were good Bulk billing, multiple appointments available 7 days a week! Called to say I was running late not a problem when I did arrive parking 1/2 hour out the front was enough for us we didn’t wait too long. Large children’s toy for my child to play with as we waited, LOVED this as a parent she was happy to stand and play. The doctor was very helpful and knowledgable, all our needs were met/checked above and beyond.

I'm yet to get everything sorted but so far the clinic seemed good! Bulk billing, they pushed me in to see a GP without an appointment. If they treat me right & allow me to get a bulk billed MRI I'll happily put it to 5 star. If my case seems rushed & my concerns overlooked It will be a 1 star.

Great closing with great staff. They receptionists are warm and welcoming and happy to help. The doctors that I have seen are knowledgeable and happy to listen to you explain what is happening. There can sometimes be a little bit of a wait, but that is just the nature of bulk billing doctors and patient consults taking longer than expected. Otherwise and overall great experience.

I waited almost one hour to be called by the doctor Shuangli Wang and my appointment took not even 10 minutes. The doctor was very in a rush, she asked me questions that she answered herself. Besides that, I told her what I thought I had and she just gave me the prescription to buy antibiotics and did not want me to make any exam! Zero empathy and very poor professionalism, not sure how this person is a doctor. Never going back.
