Great wee gym, plenty of equipment, friendly staff, great atmosphere

I joined this gym last week and felt a bit uneasy going in and getting started. This feeling pasted within minutes after entering. I found the staff and gym users friendly and helpful. I'm finding the experience superior to the leisure centres wereI didn't find the staff helpful or friendly to be honest. I'm so glad that I called into Maxfit and feel after trying different gyms over many years that this is the place for me.

Fantastic gym. Lots of equipment. Changing room, lockers, showers all here. Staff and members are all so genuinely nice! If you're thinking of joining, check it out!

Connor and the MaxFit team have created a fantastic, friendly community with this great , well fit out gym with a real positive atmosphere. I was lucky to be apart of MaxFit a few months ago when travelling home from Australia for a months holiday. I was reluctant to stop my regular training and after reaching out to Connor online, he and the team made everything super easy for me. I would highly recommend MaxFit Gym to anyone wanting start or continue their fitness journey! I look forward to training with these legends again next year when I return!

Lovely friendly gym located in the middle of Glengormley, Newtownabbey.I currently do their Small Group Personal Training sessions which I find amazing and so so fun to do. It is also a slightly cheaper option than doing 1-1 PT. They also do 1-1 personal training which is also great as all the Personal Trainers in the gym are so friendly and always there to help. Even if you just get a membership and are a bit worried don't be too much I was that way too and I can tell you that there isn't a crowd of people who could make you feel more comfortable than Maxfit. Everybody gets to know eachother and it's just a friendly positive environment to be in. If you are looking a new gym and want someone where that is a community definitely come to maxfit. Always someone there to give you hand if you need it. When I started out in the gym I was afraid to ask anyone for help and so I would just not do things I needed help with but within a week I could tell the atmosphere was friendly and that everyone was nice so I started asking for help and received loads. I don't think there is a better gym than Maxfit you just couldnt find better people to be around.

Being using this gym since it opened. Excellent gym, friendly and very professional staff and PTs. Very friendly atmosphere both with staff and fellow gym goers. Looking forward to getting back after lockdown to get to see the changes carried out to the gym and also to use the new equipment.

Love it here..I go 6 days a week. Price is unbelievable for what you get. No shortage of equipment , plenty of free weights, squat racks and experienced trainers. Can't wait to get back. Will never go back to a commercial gym chain.

I joined MaxFit Gym in Glengormley a few months ago. I was nervous about going to a gym for the first time so I signed up to the small group personal training sessions. The personal trainers give you so much support and advice and are a very friendly professional team. If you want value for money, a wide variety of equipment to choose from, somewhere that is centrally located , clean and tidy then look no further.…get signed up.

Have been going to this gym in newtownabbey for personal training in small groups since October. Really good atmosphere and helpful trainers for all levels and abilities. As well as the weekly training sessions included in the membership fee, they also provide an app with pre loaded sessions which I can do in my own time as well as helpful and realistic guidance on nutrition.

I attend the group personal training at Maxfit Gym in Newtownabbey and have done for the last 2 years. I look forward to the sessions and feel even better when I finish 😃 Friendly environment and a great community to be a part of in the heart of Glengormley. Highly recommend, the best self care you will ever do for yourself both mentally and physically, reliable professional personal trainers and always have a good laugh check it out for yourself 🫶🏻

The gym is clean and tidy, good equipment and a very nice and professional team.

Cannot recommend this gym enough, modern and clean equipment, loads of space, extremely friendly staff and great training programmes. If youre in the newtownabbey area and not signed up then you should change that!
