Good range of shops. Parking isnt great but that's due to the popularity which is a good thing. It's good that the empty units are contained to one part of the shopping centre so it feels pretty full when walking through. Toilets were very unclean which was disappointing and the toilet seat was missing

Good little shopping centre. Not got massive stores but enough to get the essentials. Good parking available.

Fine if you live nearby but not a shopping centre you’d travel to. Has TK Maxx, Asda, Primark, Boots, Iceland and Asda and a few cafes. Not great. One part has no shops at all. Nothing different to draw you to the centre. Parking was fine.

Good to have such a place where you can find a lot of different items in so a good price range. I haven't explored yet in detail everything but so far I'm happy

It is a big center, clean and tidy. There is amazing smell of baked goodies in the air. Some lovely competitively priced framed photographs and paintings are displayed by the entrance and available for purchase. I like the selection of shops in this center and the fact it opens early in the morning. On some days they have a small artisan market , I bought some delicious bread!

Clean shopping centre and good parking and toilet facilities. This place is missing the hustle and bustle it had ten years ago. Next and Tesco are a big loss. Quite a few empty shops that need filling. No shop mobility any more.

Ards shopping centre is one of the old style. It requires a good refurbishment. The main stores are ASDA and PRIMARK. It needs to bring in a more up market shops. The place doesn't give the buzz that other centres give. The car parking is not adequate depending on day and time I go just for essentials and get out as quickly as I can. Mind you I don't like shopping

Unlike many UK shopping centres Ards is managing to survive with mostly large UK brands and a few local names. Just a few vacant units. Popular for people from North Down, Belfast and beyond. Plenty of free parking even when busy.

It's sad to see so many units vacant, and so disheartening to see many shelves in the remaining stores empty. A sign of the times we are living in. On the other hand it was, however, a very pleasant and uplifting experience to meet for the 1st time the lovely Abbey at Sunseekers, I arrived on time for my appointment, she quickly put me at ease and it didn't take long till we were chatting away whilst I enjoyed a wee pamper session. (nails and eyebrows) WOW! Feel good factor 10/10 definitely be visiting again 😊

Great shopping centre but needs a few more larger restaurants. Doesn't open very late on Sundays which is a shame.

Overall i thought it was very disappointing as most of the shops have closed down leaving very little choice to shop in . Primark had nothing of interest only for asda being there i wouldn't recommend it.

Ards in its prime offered the most convenient shopping experience for residents of the Downpatrick and Killyleagh areas. Since 2015, shops such as Easons, GAME, Argos, Next, Burger King, and Jack Jones have shut down or moved. Every time I come back here, one closes after the other. The rents and council rates are probably the biggest reason for this shopping centre's decline. Still, I don't see any logic in retailers moving from Ards to Bloomfield or Castlebawn. The only reason why you should still go here is just for the KFC, CEX, and Primark.

I can't seem to find wild coco to give this review. As it is in ards shopping centre I will write it here. Today I was in having lunch when a elderly couple where trying to get the attention for the staff from just outside the cafe. The elderly man was telling us he was bard because the staff said his sick wife assaulted one of them when! when we asked if he was OK as the staff where ignoring him. I understand if they where bared they wouldn't be let in but staff should have delt with this as soon as they seen they where Aprouching people. I approached a member of staff because the elderly couple where interrupting everyone's lunch, i was rudley told by a member of staff "we know he is there he is bared" one member of staff laughed at how abupted he was with me. I walked off and the elderly couple where left to bother people. Until a lady came to speak to them. There was no need for the member of staff to be so short with me as I was unsure what to do because the old man was yelling across the cafe and bothering people. Your staff need some training! All he needed to say to me was he apologised for the interruption and it was being handled. Terrible customer service! He seemed to think I should know what was happening. I just seen a elderly couple in distress and went to get a member of staff because he was interrupting mine and other customers lunch. I will not be back!

Great location and shops (what's there). Alot of empty units. You could easily spend more time in the centre if there was a better variety

Called into wild coco Cafe and ordered two all day breakfasts and two hot waters. Read the receipt and noticed we were being charged £4.60 for two cups of hot water. That is daylight robbery. Managers customer service was absolutely nil. We will never set foot in the place again.

Ards shopping centre has most of the main stores that the public rely on and its great seeing most of them still remain open over these past few years.

Free parking, clean mall and good variety of shops. Large supermarket at one end. Advisable to go mid-week as it's very busy at weekends.

No trolleys. Persons looking after trolleys more interested in having a sit down in trolley retirn area at rear of carpark. Whilst I and others had to go into back carpark for a trolley. Unacceptable with lazy staff

There where a lot of shops closed, very sad to see as this was once a very busy shopping centre. We went into Subway and service was excellent.

There are many different shops and places to eat that you can visit. There are shops and food places like Asda, Poundland, Boots, Holland and Barret, Primark, Superdrug, Next, River Island, Home Bargains, Iceland, Starbucks, Subway, Costa, Del Pieros etc. It is usually quite busy especially at peak times.

I am delighted with the choice so much to see. I'm going to have to return soon as I didn't have time to go to all the shops

One side of the shopping centre is so dead and depressing. Maybe if they'd lower their taxes a little, maybe they'd have more trade and more shops opening in that part of the centre more. Its the side that Iceland is on.

Love the fact that you will almost find a parking space.

  • 4/5 Shirley J. 2 years ago on Google
Most of the shops are very good, busy carpark and needs attentiveness as cars emerging everywhere, could be better planned in that regard.

I just don't like Area shopping centre. The parking is a head wrecking session, and the centre made me uncomfortable as hardly anyone was wearing a mask, it wasn't being polices, but that's just a personal note and preference. Some decent shops but not great. Goto Bloomfield's instead

Called in to get something in Iceland....just like all other shopping centres in NI, no people and full of empty shops

The last time I was here it was quite run down, I was disappointed to see the decline. However I visited on the 7th February. Oh my word!!! It is vibrant, busy and very welcoming. Well done. Ards Shopping Centre. Top notch.

Feels like the opening scene in a 'Joe hates his life' movie. Place is so outdated and depressing.

  • 4/5 Kenneth R. 1 year ago on Google
Easy parking all flat ground and inside is all on ground floor level loads of room to move about to different areas of the shopping centre and easy access to all the different shops just sad on the down side there's quite a few empty units because of I'm sure different reason but here's hoping these will have some other business interested in starting up making it even more choices of shopping.

Great for shopping So many shops in one place Lots of seating areas to rest or for the men to sit and relax the mind while women shop 😆 Play zone for kiddies is a great idea also and plenty of variety of places to eat or grab a drink after a day of shopping 🛍

The original NI Shopping Centre experience. Granted, the early 90s weren't kind to a shopping centre built in the 70s. Lack of investment, poor shops, poor management all combined to make a boring, tired, lack-lustre shopping experience. THEN SOMETHING SUPERB HAPPENED! I really don't know WHAT, but Asda arrived, a re-vamp occured, new branding, advertisement, an upgrade of the malls...light, open, airy, seasonal....The Ards Shopping Centre has RE-INVENTED ITSELF, and I'm SO GLAD! WELL DONE, ONE AND ALL! 👍👍👍

Good range of shops and places to eat Only downside no public bar 🍻. Plenty of variety

  • 4/5 Mervyn N. 2 years ago on Google
I would say Asda, Primark and Iceland are keeping this place open. There is never much life or atmosphere about it but that applies to most shopping centres just now. There is of course Poundland and CEX but there is little else here for me personally. There is not much in the way of variety to even warrant browsing and since Burger King pulled out not much in the way of a decent burger.

Good shops in store, although some are not open, nor open late.

  • 3/5 Shay O. 1 year ago on Google
Some good stores. Some alright. Somewhere to get away for a couple of hours if you're lucky. Ards is a nice market town with plenty of I dependants. The shopping centre is mainly high street names

  • 3/5 Séamus Murphy (. 1 year ago on Google
Don't see why this has a 4.2 average star rating. Like, it's alright, but there isn't a great selection of shops and there's quite a few empty units, especially near Iceland where that part of the mall is a ghost town with only three(!) shops in that bit.

  • 5/5 Louise M. 1 year ago on Google
Really good range of shops…a one stop shop kind of place covering most things

  • 5/5 Kim H. 1 year ago on Google
Clean, well laid out and has everything you need. Good parking, although the disabled parking is always full, not sure if anyone checks that the cars have disabled badges.

Shops are OK but the security team have disgusting behaviour. They passed me and my family and made racist noises. I'd a very young child with me, I'm glad she didn't understand what was happening, because it was appalling. I emailed a complaint and of course no response! Shows just how little management care.

  • 2/5 Andy C. 1 year ago on Google
A security team preoccupied in chasing motorcyclists from parking whilst cars are abandoned unchallenged along footpaths! As I pointed out when last picked on. The usual reply that it was the head of securities pet thing! Surely you guys have like maybe shop lifters to catch or something! No other shopping mall prevents bikes that are carefully parked. I was even hounded from a car parking bay for taking up a car space!

I was delighted that Bonmarche was still there, I love their clothes. Followed by a nice cup of coffee & toasted tea cake. Yummieee
