I’m continually going here since last 4 years. Each and every time staying here 4-5 weeks. Strongly recommended for long staying tourist from Europe. It’s close to the Light House beach #Kovalam. Affordable price and good output for what we are giving. Friendly management. See you soon

Hotel is just 50 m distant from beach. Overall good hotel for stay in this price. Some issue with bathroom flush system. Overall satisfied with the service.

Although The Staff is nice The room itself was reall worn out, The furniture and matresses are dilapitated. It could be cleaner as well. The big cockroach crawling on the bathroom floor at night was a bit too much for me.

A lovely hotel run by very helpful people who go out of their way to help. Great value and very close to the beach, stayed there twice and will go back again.

Moon Valley Cottage is a great hotel, run by extremely attentive staff who offer a great level of service. The hotel Manager is also exceptional. I visit Kovalam nearly every year for since 2006 and since finding Moon Valley 6 years ago this is the only hotel stay at. I like the location away from the hub of beach shops/bars and the serenity of the hotel offers great relaxation, yet is only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Namaste

The hotel is located very close to the ocean, accessable by elevated sidewalks, where you must drag your luggage from the street for about 100M as no cars/bikes can go on these sidewalks.. The room was large with a nice balcony to relax outside. the bathroom was large & comfortable From the room I could see the other hotels, not much of a view, but it is a short min walk to the water & many restaurants, shops, etc The hotel upkeep is average with the room being dirtier than most, but not poor enough to complain. The mattress was rather comfortable. The room was too small to accommodate a desk to work a full day. The hotel didn't provide WiFi. The room lacked AC however the ceiling fan kept us very comfortable. The hotel is located within talking distance to most of the tourist attractions

Well maintained rooms, focused on cleanliness, very hygienic and good location near beach but cars cannot come to the hotel and you will have to walk with luggage for 100 mts to hotel... Also Don't forget to have lunch where Mr. Dileep recommend...The food was a pure Kerala delicacies prepared by two women at just Rs. 100/- per thali..

Everything is perfect. Room, location . Especially the staff here is so welcoming, honest. Special thanks to Mr Dileep. I wasn't able to find this cottage then he was on call with me for 25mins and telling me the way to reach the cottage 👏. You must go their if you're in Kovalam and the price for stay is also not too high. They are in budget.

Start with pluses. Very helpful people and close to beach. Bed linen and towel had stains. Floor had stains. Cannnot access by car. You need to carry ypur luggage about 100-150 metres.

Exterior, it looks old and less maintained. Rooms are okay. Staff and owner is very friendly and welcoming. Walkable distance to the beach.

Rooms were clean. Parking for car infront of hotel not available. You need to walk to property almost 100 mtr . Good service by staff

Room was close to the beach and restaurents.But rooms are not properly maintained and cleaned. We had checked in early so staff didn't cleaned the room properly didn't even changed the bed sheets. Rooms are suffocated and unhygienic.Bad smell in room. Staff should focus on cleanliness and maintenance of the property

Special thank you dileep sir he's owner of property he's good in nature because when I came to trivendrum and call he pick and telling me everything very kindly but I called also another property owner they didn't pick up in late night and he's staff was too good and humble and thank you sooo much you gave me yours cottage it's a wonderful experience for me.

The owner and the staff are very nice and helpful. They will make sure to make your stay the best. The rooms are big and neat. The location is just near the beach and you need to walk a little. I would definitely recommend it.

I booked this room expecting a comfortable queen bed for a romantic getaway, but was utterly disappointed to find two single cots pushed together instead. While the room itself might be okay, the sleeping situation is completely unacceptable for a queen bed listing.
