Quaint, cozy and comfortable. The rooms were very nice and pretty standard for a B&B, but the element that sets this place over the top is the host. Mr. Wei is a sweet man and very accommodating host (i.e. Dietary restrictions, easy check-in/check-out times), and every day cooked us a homemade breakfast with yogurt and strong coffee. Would absolutely come again, and I advise everyone to book directly with the venue rather than a third-party site for big savings.

My husband and I stayed here for a week and it was absolutely fantastic. Wei is a fantastic host and made our vacation very comfortable. Before we came we gave her our dietary requirements (no pork) and she was more than accommodating and made sure we liked everything (which we did and appreciated the large meal!). The location is right by the Riverside road so you can borrow the bikes and ride up all the way to Niagara on the lake through the trail or down and around past the falls. On the other end of the street there's another walking/biking trail that leads to both downtowns and a faster way to the falls. Overall I don't think you can beat this place for location and the experience

By far the best b&b I have ever stayed. Warm welcoming hosts and super cozy rooms. I would definitely stay here again during my next visit to Niagara falls.

Very nice bnb Clean accommodations, bed was comfy (queen size in Victoria room), had own control of in suite a/c, hosts were very nice and best of all the breakfast here was top notch every morning. You start off with coffee/tea and a sweets, I.e. danish, coffee cake, second course is a glass of fruit juice and a cup of yoghurt with fruit, then comes the breakfast platter which usually had eggs, sausage and fresh fruit or pancakes, sausage and fresh fruit - something different each day. The breakfast is generous and hearty, perfect way to start your days activities! Would highly recommend this place and would not hesitate to come back again next time we stay in Niagara!

I would highly recommend Blue Gables to any of my friends and family. The home was cozy, well cared for, clean, and extremely comfortable. Our room was exceptionally quiet, and had it's own unique charm. The owner was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was *considerably* larger than I had expected, and included small pastries, a yogourt parfait, eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruit, coffee and juice. It was conveniently located--just a 4 minute drive to downtown Niagara falls, and steps away from the river. I look forward to staying there again!

I can't say enough good things about this place! Absolutely gorgeous place, and meticulous clean! Wei is an outstanding, thoughtful, and gracious host, and he's an amazing cook! He makes you feel like royalty! We stayed in the basement 'honeymoon suite' - which had a private entrance. The neighborhood is so quiet, and feels quite safe, which is good since we walked back to the room at night, because our rides ended😊 The WeGo is just a block away, so we didn't uses our car the whole time. I don't know what the other B&B's in the area are like, but I'd stay here again in a heartbeat! It changed my husband's opinion of B&B's for the better!

The owner was so sweet and kind :) our room was great, very cozy and just enough space. A little kitchenette upstairs with fridge/freezer, water boiler and cool barrel sink. Our room had a full bathroom with a spacious shower behind the sliding mirrors (instead of a closet) which was an amazing touch. Not too Victorian, very homey and the breakfast in the morning was very good and had a little of everything. Good location right along Niagara River, not a far drive from the Main Street. Would stay again :) (also very reasonably priced)

We stayed in the Honeymoon Suite and loved it! While it was in the basement, the atmosphere was sophisticated and perfect for a romantic night. The breakfast the next day was bountiful and delicious, and the host was very flexible, thoughtful, and helpful. As I proposed to my fiancee that day, he worked with my brother to have the place decorated for when we arrived to make the evening very special. Loved having a Jacuzzi and fireplace in the room too! Would definitely stay here again.

The room, house and host were very welcoming and comfortable. We stayed for one night and it was very convenient. Free parking and walking distance to the falls is a plus. My only suggestion is that they ask/inform what the breakfast will be the next day. I didn't finish everything/didn't want everything and would've preferred eggs. The food (french toast) was still delicious. Would highly recommend!

Had an amazing stay here this long weekend. The breakfast is delicious! The host did an amazing job and his hospitality was excellent. He cleaned and shoveled in timely manner. The neighbourhood is quiet. Only a 20 minute walk from Clifton Hill. He was very kind and made us feel right at home.

Great host. Wei was very pleasant and responsive. The place was clean. Breakfast wasn't great, but that's a preference thing, and for the price I didn't really mind skipping breakfast the next day. Otherwise great B&B

Amazing hotel located in a quiet street. The building is very old (1867 if I am not mistaken). The owners are a great couple. Lee is very friendly and the breakfast she cooks delicious and cooked like in a restaurant. It feels like home. The decorations and details are spectacular - it feels like you are in a movie. We had the best time there. It was my birthday during our stay and breakfast was very festive (though I did not mention that we have special occasion, so every morning is a holiday when you stay at Blue Gables). Also I felt very calm, relaxed and happy during our stay. Highly recommend!

cozy and clean, breakfast was generous. The owners are incredibly friendly and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and welcoming, with the bus station a few steps away and Niagara Falls a 20-minute walk away. I would definitely go back. love the place

Firstly, this B&B was located in a great neighbourhood, quiet, lots of parking and maybe 2 minutes from Clifton Hill! Excellent sized room and a comfortable bed! Owners are super nice, the check in process was easy and simple. Was a little warm in the room but was still comfortable to relax. Breakfast at 9:00am was superb, we had our choice coffee/tea, loaf slices and other lighter sweets, and fresh fruit with a breakfast sandwich, all home cooked.

Great location, close to public transit, quiet street and a huge breakfast that was perfectly cooked from eggs to bacon. The dairy free smoothie and fruit was wonderful and I'll be looking for the Chinese rice cakes.

Got there after 3. Ms Lee gave us our key. Went into our room and noticed the bedding smelled like someone else's sweat. Not clean. A bit disappointed. Found out a couple was in our room previous two days wanted to stay another day they just moved them next door and Just made the bed for us. I noticed the vent in bathroom was fully incased with dust like lent from a dryer. Plus AC was same. Triggered my wife's allergies bad. Ash tray on porch full and spider webs covering it. Bed was uncomfortable and too small. Walls are thin. One last poke. No menu for Breakfast bagel sandwiches covered with grease and gross. Go to Timmy's instead. Now the likes. Parking, location and neighborhood was great. I enjoyed watching the fox chase the black squirrels. Relatively quiet and staff was very nice. Price was 'ok' for us. I most likely will take accommodations somewhere else in the near future.
