Great ambiance, and equally great Jewish/middle eastern fare. I recommend the platters; all the dips and sauces are great. Though I did find dishes were on the pricier side. Overall good experience.

Excellent tasty food. Fun atmosphere with staff occasionally singing loudly to classic rock hits. Main floor bathrooms! Tables are a tight squeeze and I got bumped by servers several times unfortunately without any apologies. We asked for clean plates for main course. Different server cheerfully packed up our leftovers. Definitely will return. We had both visited sporadically over past several years. Happy to say it's better than ever!

Not a place I would regularly go to, but it is worth a visit. Portions are on the larger side, and were generally on the tasty side. Service was good, the patio was rustic and suited me. The falafel were a hit. I would recommend it if you want a new experience.

This place is for people who don’t know what middle eastern/Mediterranean food is. We had the Lil Salatim and fried crushed potatoes. The dips tasted store bought, the falafel were flavourless with no seasoning whatsoever felt like I was biting into a green ball of grease, and the pita was too thick for our liking. I don’t know how they cook their potatoes but they were also a disaster both in terms of look and taste - super soggy. Would’ve preferred if they were more true to their Mediterranean/Jewish taste but I was disappointed.

It was my first time at fat pasha and it exceeded all expectations! We got the fat salatim platter and everything was delicious, the cocktails were great too. I was most impressed with the service here. The host and servers were amazing and super helpful. We also loved the vibe of the outdoor patio. 5/5 Great place!!

Amazing experience ! Top notch customer service, great sharing plates, and amazing food! I am very picky with hummus but this hummus has to be one of the best I tried so far in the city. Would definitely suggest getting the Salatim Platter and the steak. I don’t usually eat steak, but that was one of the best I’ve had in a long time! Perfectly seasoned and cooked. Perfectly juicy. Had a great time and highly recommend!

Fat Pasha is iconic. The ambiance is so much fun and the service is amazing, we had Brittany taking care of us and she was so sweet and bubbly. There’s a sense of humour about the place and I contribute that to the chef’s background. I felt very welcome as a Jew myself and felt immediately at home. The food was incredible. The labneh is literally to die for. You can’t go wrong at this restaurant!!! Everything is delicious!! I can’t wait to bring all my friends and family here and become a regular. Thanks for such an amazing night and see you soon!!

The food is quite average here. Nothing was particularly bad but also not great. The platter with all the dips was the best thing we ate. I was a bit disappointed in the ribs as they just were basic barbecue ribs. The food here lacks spices and are underwhelming when it comes to flavour. I won’t be coming back put it was nice to try at least.

Amazing food! You will not be disappointed! There is a wide variety of flavors that are all executed excellently. Be aware, they do accept reservations so may fill up fast! I would not skip on Fat Pasha if you are in Toronto.

Interesting menu to share with friends and family. Very nice setup and great staff. Will go back again. Fat platter quantity was perfect for 4 of us. We were full yet not feeling heavy.

Fat Pasha is so good it will definitely make you fat - you'll want to keep coming back for more! We shared a platter of all the dips for two and it was fresh, tasty, and filling. The labne and baba ghonoush were excellent. Also tried the desserts, which were just as impressive as the entrees.

One of the most overrated restaurants I’ve been too. Had high expectations of this place, but was disappointed. Food was average, service was bad, cost was high. This was my experience: 1) Arrived on time of our reservation, but was seated at the bar and told to wait despite there being empty tables... 2) Despite the empty tables, another party was seated an inch away from us, it was very tight and uncomfortable. 3) We had to wait longer for our food because they gave our order to the table beside us... took a while to get any food. 4) They then proceeded to upgrade the party beside us to a bigger nicer table (while they were eating our order). 5) Food was overpriced for what you get. Bill was around $80 for some potatoes, dips, and half a cauliflower.. not sure what you’re paying extra for here, as it was just average. Not like the decor is nicer either. 6) They brought me the wrong bill.. (and told us it’s cause we switched tables... which we didn’t, the people beside us did) 7) Honestly pretty poor service. If they’re going to charge more the average middle eastern restaurant, should have better service. Mistakes happen, but there were just multiple. There are much nicer middle eastern restaurants with better food and vibes in the gta imo. Would not return here or recommend.

With attached parking and delicious everything and what an incredible vibe in the back patio sitting. Great and attentive team. Great price to portion value and quality is there too. The main miss on food would have been too much salt on some bites of the Shakshuka and eggs wouldn't be my favorite choice here but still not enough to warrant a Star loss! The vibe and other food made up for it

One of the best dips I've ever had! Chirshi is so good! Smoked white fish salad was much much better than it sounded to me. Latka was divine. The service was incredible. I felt so welcomed and cared for. I tried the peach cocktail and it was also fantastic. I look forward to coming back!

Wmmy family and I had a wonderful lunch at Fat Pasha's. Service was super friendly, and the shared platters were delicious. It was a bit pricey, but we didn't mind it. Couldn't finish our portions and took it home with us not a drop of hummus went to waste :)

Absolutely fantastic brunch experience here! Delicious flavours, great service (bottomless coffee was always +90% full!), huge portions and well priced. Will come back for sure.

I wish that I could give 6 stars. Fat Pasha is a 10/10 recommendation. Not only is the food great, but the service is amazing. We ordered two cocktails to start and they were so fresh and tasty. For food we started with the pita and dip trio (comes with falafel which was SO crispy and delicious). For dip we chose baba ganoush, hummous and chirshi. Chirshi was recommended by the server and it was our favourite! A must try. We then had the potato latkes with garlic labneh which were so crispy and yet fresh. Dare i say another must try. Finally we split the pastrami which comes with delicious bread and the best pickles I have ever had. My biggest regret of the evening is taking a shaky picture of the pastrami platter that sat in front of us (attached anyways sorry). Another must try! We had high expectations and these were so pleasantly exceeded. Thank you so much for the delicious meal! Will be back again!!

Indulged in an exquisite culinary experience! Our brunch escapade featured the delectable pastrami "hash" & egg, along with another tantalizing dish perfectly portioned for two. Complemented the feast with a refreshing IPA and a sophisticated Bourbon Sour. Our server proved exceptional, displaying attentive care towards our allergy concerns. However, a minor note – the beer leaned towards the flat side, and the drinks, though flavourful, were a tad smaller than anticipated for the price. Nonetheless, this venue is a resounding recommendation for a romantic date night or an intimate gathering, even though the seating arrangement is snug. The overall culinary delight and top-notch service make it a memorable spot.

Stopped here for lunch. Food was amazing and very high quality! We got one of the platters that was recommended by our waitress. The hummuses were all VERY good and the falafels were perfect! It was definitely big enough for 2 people! There are so many other things that look/sound great on the menu, so we may need to try it again! Staff was also very friendly!

The food was delicious and the service was top notch - our server, in particular, was very knowledgeable and professional. Great spot for a dinner for two. We had the Fat Salatim Platter and Grilled Chicken & Verscht. We had leftovers. Will definitely return to try other dishes. Btw.. It’s a bit loud so keep that in mind if you’re not interested in a lively/ energetic atmosphere.

Wanting to try this place for a while so we decided to order some takeout. Got classic hummus starter, Chicken Shawarma plate, and Chicken Paprikash plate. The Chicken Shawarma was definitely the highlight, great taste. The Paprikash was not really a Paprikash; was more of a half chicken with some dill on it and a mediocre Paprikash-like sauce on the side and no perceived sour cream. Paprikash should be combined with meat and a thicker sauce. That was also a bit dry. Hummus was good. Pita and Challah was kept separate for my gluten restriction, but my partner said it was good. Biggest problem is price to quantity ratio. Two mains and a starter for $110 after tax (no tip) for the amount of food we got was insane. We were expecting more trimmings and meat according to the pictures on the website. The food was good enough to return, but probably the worst value I’ve experienced in a long time. Service was ok. Had to call 4 times to get a hold of someone because website was not accepting orders. The atmosphere is nice, but we did not dine-in. Probably will not be returning, although I would if the cost was 25%+ lower.

Great experience! Even though they closed at 10pm, they kept open for us and served with great energy and passion for the restaurant! The food was amazing and presented so beautifully! Really recommend the platter to try three different dips with pita! They were also playing amazing music and singing along which made it feel like a nice, warm dinner with your family!!

We had the pleasure of dining at Fat Pasha on a recent Friday evening, and it was an absolute delight. The cozy ambiance of the restaurant immediately sets the mood for a great meal. The staff were incredibly attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. We started our meal with a hummus platter that was a true standout. The assortment of dips and fresh pita bread made for a delightful start, but the real star was the baba ganoush - it was simply outstanding. And, of course, we couldn't pass up on the falafel. It lived up to its reputation as a must-have dish. Crispy on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside, it was a falafel lover's dream. What truly impressed me was the generous portion sizes. We left the restaurant completely satisfied, knowing we had enjoyed not only delicious food but also great value for our money. I can't wait to return for another memorable dining experience

Although restaurant has basic setting, it’s designed around sharing food with family and friends, with few harvest tables and they have outdoor seating. Staff were nice and pleasant, however we were little bit disappointed with food preparation it wasn’t up to par what you would expect, I wish the owner spent more money to have better presentable plates. Food presentation was poor they can do a better job. As for food tease was OK, I was very disappointed with their Falafel it was hard ball from outside, as a person who loves Falafel, it should crispy outside and soft inside and melt in your mouth. Also, their shawarma was below standard and not authentic, it’s seems they just use hot grill plate rather that traditional method. However their rotisserie chicken was good and juicy. As for price it’s rather high for what you get.

Cute homey vibe with satisfying food! Live up to the hype? I’m still on the fence. Currently at a 3.5 The staff was amazing/full of personality, the classic hummus was very good and I loved the wall art. Where I’m scratching my head still: - They make their fattoush salad with kale, which didn’t hit the spot for me. The kale was chewy (possibly not massaged enough) and the dressing, while good, was not enough. Overall a dry dish. I much prefer fattoush with romaine, and with a looot of pomegranate molasses and sumac. Spots in Mississauga beat this fattoush salad by many many miles (e.g., Roman Zaman) - the muhammara was fairly tasty, but surprised it wasn’t more blended into a dip (how I’m used to having it) Was also surprised to see feta on it. Didn’t see the value add of the feta. - both dips with soaking with olive oil. It didnt harm or particularly elevate the taste but I wonder if they could pause a bit on the oil and make the prices more reasonable. We paid $40 per person for 2 dips and one salad. Would return to try the falafel and come with more people so we could split the bill. 😂

Good service and good atmosphere. Food arrived quickly and was delicious! We got the platter and brisket and they were unbelievable! Very filling! Keep up the amazing work!! I will definitely be coming back!!

Food was amazing!! We shared the 3 dips and short ribs between 2 people and had the IPA & Bourbon Sour. Our server was fantastic and was very attentive to our allergy needs! Only note was that the beer was on the flat side and the ribs were a smaller portion than we had anticipated for the price! Would 100% recommend this spot for a date night or smaller group gathering as it is on the tighter side for seating.

A friend recommended we meet for brunch here. The exterior of the building doesn’t look like much but the interior is a quaint diner in the middle of one of my favorite neighborhoods (the annex). The staff were friendly and accommodating, the place was nearly full with space for two at the bar. My friend ordered the breakfast brisket on hummus, the hummus was flavourful and fluffy, melting in your mouth, I couldn’t help but have a taste. I ordered the Roast Cauliflower and eggs. All the food was fresh and well cooked. The flavours of tahin, pine nuts and pomegranate all melded together beautifully. I’ll definitely give this restaurant another go, sooner rather than later.

Limited menu, on the pricier side. But the lamb kofta and beans were absolutely delicious! We went without a reservation so didn't get a patio seating. But there will be a next time!

  • 5/5 Pavel G. 2 years ago on Google
The food is very very good! The place itself is strangely arranged but definitely cozy. The prices are quite reasonable with an exception of the beef kebab. The cocktails are not the best in town and the beer selection is very limited but if you want to have a good flavourful meal, that is the perfect place to come to! You will be leaving satisfied and full.

Wonderful experience here -- ate out on their beautiful patio. Service was fantastic. For two people, we ordered the salatim platter and the spicy tuna main (I'm not sure if its on the menu anymore). It was super filling, well seasoned and delicious. Would absolutely go again!

First and foremost, the staff are incredible! Very friendly, attentive and approachable! The patio is a hidden gem! Very cool vibe, super clean and comfortable! We went as a group of six of us and ordered many items from the menu and shared them all! My oh my was it delightful!!! Every dish better than the last (obviously everyone had their own faves but they greatly differed)! I would 100% go back!!! Lastly, their falafel was 48 outta 10!!! Best out there, hands down!!

Lovely comfortable patio, excellent for chatting, and very friendly staff. We ordered the Salatim platter, lamb kofta, and fried crispy potatoes for two people. All were great choices and we had enough leftovers for us both. I'd strongly recommend coming with a party of 4+ to taste more from the menu. Summer refreshments were also excellent!

Nice place. Awesome staff. Lovely atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit. I'd say the food has a touch of Indian tbh, find out for yourself. The cauliflower is tasty and you can do half so just ask. The chicken shwarma is delicious ..just ask for additional peppers:). Only one thing that was a bit of a turn off at the end, on the bill was a processing fee of $4.49? What's up with that? I get credit card companies charge a fee and if you want to pass that to customers, it's probably best to let them know vs. A surprise. They did remove it cuz I asked about it. The donut dessert was beyond delicious. Definitely a repeat .

The only regrets I have are that I wish I visited here sooner and could try more food! Not only food colour palette and plating were incredibly pleasing, but also all the food we ordered was so flavourful. Although it was extremely busy and full on Saturday night, the service was very quick and excellent. All the staff were amazingly friendly and bubbly which made me feel very welcomed. Food portions were huge, probably it’s best for big group functions as well as small party. Fat Salatim Platter is a must try dish! It came with 4 different amazing dips, falafels and pita. Pita were so fresh and warm. We also tried one of their cocktails, Blueberry Mint and Cranberry Gazoz. It was the best/prettiest drink I have had recently in Toronto. I would come back just to get these drinks! It could get very busy especially Friday or the weekend so recommend making a reservation.

Got to visit this middle eastern resto that serves eastern & european jewish dishes in a country chic decor! From the salatim, my fav dips were the classic hummus and garlic labneh w za’atar! They went so well w the soft pita and I loved the variety making it very fun to eat. I rly liked the challah french toast as I’m a sweets > savoury person when it comes to brunch and the spreads it came w made this dish heavenly! But I mean how can u go wrong with nutella haha. My bf and I overall enjoyed everything and we loved the vibes of their patio! I did want to try their famous whole roasted cauliflower which they only serve for dinner meaning I’ll have to be back again hehe <3

Never a bad meal here & feeling so lucky we could slip in without a reservation (so, yeah reservations are a good idea here). Very good food. Our biggest dilemma was decided whether to go hard on the dips or save room for the entrees. The cauliflower called our name. Highly recommend this spot and bring your friends!

An absolute gem! Great food, superb service and an environment filled with bonhomie. We went for the fat Salatim platter and peach bourbon sour, and both were brilliant. Got a detailed walkthrough of the individual dips and each of them surpassed each other. Forget the review, just make a reservation and get there!

Do yourself a favour and book fat pasha for your next dinner with friends. This is a place that you want to enjoy with atleast 4 people so you can try several dishes and share tapas style. The ambiance, staff, food and drinks are incredible.

Came to try the famous cauliflower- was not disappointed. I don't know how they did it but it is the best cauliflower I've ever had. The back heated patio was also really lovely. Shared the cauliflower and small dips tray between 2 people and was more than enough food.

  • 4/5 Alex 11 months ago on Google
Delicious food but we ordered way too much! The Delicatessen Extra Vaganznwas the only way to try the latkas but it's really a meal for 3-4 people, not two!! It was still very good but we're stuffed. Also worth ordering was the halloumi sticks and tahini salad

  • 5/5 Tejas S. 1 year ago on Google
Bringing my wife to Fat Pasha for a date night was a great decision! I discovered this place on Michelin Guide Toronto. As a vegetarian, Fat Pasha served us one of the absolute best Middle Eastern food experiences we’ve had in North America. We ordered the Lil Salatim and Whole Roasted Cauliflower both of which mesmerized our tastebuds. We chose the backyard patio. The ambience was casual and lively. Service was prompt. Loved our time here and will certainly come back soon!

The dips and the fried potatoes were delicious. I was disappointed with the ribs, especially for a $45 dish, they were kind of dry and just tasted like barbecue sauce. Overall I enjoyed the food and service but the food is quite over priced.

Salatim Platter - Comes with Tahini, Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Garlic Labneh, Garlic sweet tomatoes, and ground roasted red peppers, Dukkah, Pickles and pickled carrots, falafel and 3 pita. In general very fun to eat, and the pita were fluffy and fresh. The hummus is well rounded and had chick peas in it, and the tahini had a slight bitterness for balance. Falafel was good, especially dipped in the all the dips. Tomatoes burst in your mouth with a sweet savory flavour, and the red pepper mash was aromatic and roasted. Pickles provided a refreshing sourness. The pitas tasted and smelled freshly baked, which gives it a unique aroma that I don't get to experience often. Roasted Cauliflower - Cauliflower was soft and tender, with the outside being charred and has a smoky flavor. Bitterness is balanced with pomegranate and herby paste and pine nuts to give it a variance in texture. There was a crispy cheese crust exterior and halloumi interior for a surprise bite and richness. Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts!

The food and service at Fat Pasha is amazing, such a great atmosphere on the patio. If you haven’t eaten here, you are missing out! I will definitely be going back.

Great food and great service. That being said, seems overpriced for what you get. Maha’s is much better value for similar food. The dip platter was amazing! I thought the halloumi sticks and the cauliflower were good too but not mind blowing. Overall, I’d enjoy the food if I came back, but likely to go somewhere else with better value.
