After
hosting
my
event
this
past
Sunday,
I
have
edited
my
review
and
split
it
into
2
sections:
Wedding
day:
The
staff
that
was
responsible
for
the
ballroom
on
the
day
of
the
wedding
was
amazing.
Extremely
courteous
understanding
and
helpful.
Our
day
had
turned
into
a
nightmare
around
3:30
PM
when
my
decorator
arrived
to
the
venue
on
the
day
of
the
wedding
and
found
out
that
the
room
was
actually
double
booked.
There
was
another
event
in
our
hall
but
it
was
supposed
to
end
at
3:30
to
4
PM
or
so
that
is
what
was
communicated
to
us
for
the
last
3
to
4
weeks.
On
Sunday
we
found
out
that
the
event
ends
at
5:30.
This
was
an
extreme
disappointment
and
shock
to
myself
and
my
family
who
had
high
hopes
from
the
venue
after
I
had
told
them
great
things
about
it.
To
make
matters
worse
the
event
coordinator,
stopped
responding
to
my
calls
and
texts
and
actually
disappeared
on
us.
If
it
wasn’t
for
the
staff
we
would
not
have
gotten
our
wedding
favours
from
her
office
and
distributed
them
on
the
tables.
In
addition
to
that,
we
had
asked
multiple
times
via
email,
and
in
in-person
meetings
that
dessert
should
not
be
put
out
at
the
same
time
as
dinner,
however
unfortunately
it
was
and
it
was
quite
chaotic
and
because
of
that
our
program
did
not
go
as
planned.
The
worst
thing
however
was
that
the
lamb
roast
we
had
ordered
was
not
served
and
we
were
actually
charged
five
dollars
per
person
for
that
which
we
had
already
paid
for
as
well.
Overall
our
experience
started
off
as
excellent
but
because
of
poor
event
coordination,
poor
behaviour
and
attitude
of
the
event
coordinator,
our
whole
experience
got
ruined
so
much
so
that
I
would
give
it
a
3.5
out
of
5
star
review.
Booking
process:
Eugene
has
been
a
great
person
to
work
with.
He
is
truly
a
breath
of
fresh
air
in
this
stressful
time,
when
everyone
is
scrimmaging
to
book
venues
with
the
government
changing
and
imposing
different
rules
and
regulations
on
a
weekly
basis.
He
is
extremely
respectful,
understanding,
and
most
importantly
accommodating.
What
I
appreciate
the
most
about
him
is
that
he
understands
that
the
venue
is
hosting
social
events,
and
despite
the
COVID
regulations
and
all
the
stress
that
comes
with
them,
he
makes
your
experience
a
lot
smoother
and
bearable.
While
he
does
ensure
all
rules
and
safety
measures
are
being
observed
appropriately,
he
does
take
a
more
manageable
approach
in
relaying
those
requirements
to
his
clients
which
is
truly
appreciated.
So
far
the
booking
process
has
been
seamless
and
we
look
forward
to
our
event
soon.
