We
ordered
the
raspberry
lemon
for
my
mother's
milestone
birthday
and
made
sure
to
bring
the
cake
to
room
temperature
before
eating.
The
cake
was
hard,
dry,
dense
and
tasteless.
It
tasted
as
though
it
had
been
made
months
ago.
It
was
truly
disappointing
as
this
was
a
special
birthday
for
my
mom
with
family
after
two
years
of
pandemic
and
the
cake
was
a
complete
disappointment.
No
one
finished
their
pieces
and
the
rest
went
into
the
garbage.
For
the
price
charged,
I
would
have
been
better
off
with
a
cake
from
Loblaws
or
some
such
grocery
store.
It
was
that
bad.
I
did
the
email
the
bakery
to
let
them
know,
but
received
no
response.

I
was
going
to
leave
this
review
at
this,
but
after
a
conversation
with
the
owner,
I
will
add
what
happened
next.
The
owner
left
a
voicemail
and
email
for
me,
which
I
responded
to
via
phone.
Once
she
had
me
on
the
phone,
the
first
thing
she
said
was,
"I
see
you
wrote
a
google
review."
She
then
proceeded
to
lecture
me
about
writing
the
review
before
she
had
a
chance
to
respond.
Only
after
that
did
she
offer
any
kind
of
apology
along
with
a
half-hearted
offer
to
refund
me
for
the
order.
When
I
told
her
that
lecturing
me
regarding
the
review
wasn't
necessarily
the
right
way
to
handle
this,
as
the
bakery
ruined
a
milestone
birthday,
and
asked
her
when
I
would
be
getting
the
refund,
she
told
me
"Well,
I
don't
know
if
I
can
offer
you
a
refund
if
the
END
GAME
is
a
google
review."
I
had
no
idea
my
informing
others
about
my
negative
experience
with
your
company,
which
is
my
right,
was
considered
an
"END
GAME."

customer
service

Never
again.
