Griffon Park

Tourist attraction Park

👍 Very nice park. Small. Basic. Boat and kayak launches. Good parking. Easy access. What's interesting is its on a part of the Niagara River that loops around Cayuga Island so there is some scenery. Lots if you kayak or boat. I hear good fishing. Seems like it's right on the edge of the City of Niagar... People often mention park, nice, kids,

If you’re a kayaker the Canoe Launch area isn’t in the water yet, but you can still launch by scrambling over some concrete steps. The 3.5 mile loop is nice. Head left towards Niagara River first to enjoy the current as you head west towards the GI bridge. Loop around at the point, turn right and kayak back to your starting spot. Enjoy the serene creek and sites of homes and backyards along the way.

Like going there with my buddy Toby. I think I did this park before. You can sit and enjoy watching boats coming and going. Mostly clean except for the jerks who do no pick up after there dog! They even have poop bags there. We enjoy it!

Great place to launch your watercraft. Crowded on the weekends due to so many people having a great time on the water.😁

You can drive right up to the kayak launch! Great spot especially if you have kids.

Not much of a large place, but it is a nice place non the less to walk your dog, rest, and have a picnic. The play area is nice forbthe kids. But the most important feature of this little park has got to be the boat launch area. It's a good spot to take your boat for a ride in the Niagara river.

Nice little park with a decent canoe / kayak launch. You can pull your car down the driveway to the loop and unload your kayaks up near the dock.

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed this park. All the dogs were friendly, so we're the owners! There is a small nature trail and a cool playground. Also a clean, fully functional bathroom for potty breaks! It's also adjacent to a marinara, easy access with docks for boating an kayaking.

Wish it was kept up a little better. Shame we have such wonderful park areas in the city but they don't get taken care of

It's really nice at Griffon Park. It's a quiet place to sit and read a book or watch the boats go by.

It’s good for what it is. Very small park, definetly wouldn’t come here unless you have a boat to dock.

Nice playground equipment for kids; two playground areas for kids and very quiet. But why was it so quiet? Why were there lots of spider webs on the equipment? Could it be because the park is right beside the notorious Love Canal? Given, the area where the park is is not within the previous containment zone, but beside...

It's a nice park but needs to be cleaned up the grass is too high and all along the water is so over grown you can't even see the water.

This is a horrible playground full of broken glass sharp rocks and weeds. This could be good for a big kids park but its sized for smaller kids that fall down alot.
