Awesome place to stay near to Niagara fall. They have swimming 🏊‍♀️ pool + great rooms+ wifi+ morning breakfast is included. T.V,fridge, microwave everything in the room, clean and big rooms, they also have connected rooms in case you looking for one during group travel. Initially i saw less reviews and ratings so i was confused but it really nice place to stay and nice Couple who is handling the place. Best thing is no smoking smell inside property.

Honestly, if I could rate 0 stars, I would. We would have been better off sleeping in the car. This is close to the falls (about 10 minutes by car), but in a slummy area, where we debated on where to park, and were anxious to check on the car in the morning. We arrived late at night & check in went great. Upon finding our room, the door would not unlock with any room keys, so after a good 30 minutes of trying with the receptionist, he unlocked our room using the master key and this could not be remedied. Okay- it’s late and we don’t intend to leave and come back frequently. THEN we found our balcony door was broken, would not lock, and remained open about an inch all night. We woke up to find rodent feces in the bathroom. I felt disgusting even considering use of the shower or sink. Needless to say, the place is filthy. Don’t make the same mistake we did!

One of the worst red roof inn motels we ever stayed. We checked into 2 rooms and both the rooms are smelling full of weed/cigarettes. Their bedsheets, tiles, bathrooms are very dirty. They don’t clean the room at all. There are a lot of bedbugs. They don’t keep their surroundings clean and there is a lot of bad smell near the motel. Their breakfast is a joke. They are giving expired yogurts to the customers. God only knows what else expired breakfast they are serving. I bet many many issues will come out, if city officials do the motel inspection. Also, the owner at the counter was really rude and racist. We came to the breakfast room at 8:30 and there was no food to eat. When asked, the owner was talking in the phone and kept ignoring us. At last when I asked for the 4th time, she yelled and said there is no food. She is really rude to few customers and we felt she is racist. And then we checked their motel reviews, everyone is saying the same. We wish we could have checked the motel reviews before booking the room. We checked out immediately from this place and went to a better hotel. This red roof inn management should better check their reviews and try to address them as early as possible. Filthy bedrooms, No sleep because of the cigarettes. Worst amenities. Bathrooms are not clean. WORST motel ever!

I am currently staying here with my kids, as a single woman and mother I mind my business. I don’t bother anyone but for whatever reason the men staff at this hotel are aggressive and complete weirdos. Not only do they force you to talk to them but then get mad when you don’t respond the way they see fit. To top it all off I caught the main creep trying to watch what room I went into. I’m having a bit anxiety sleeping here. I can’t say anything to the other staff because they are clearly buddies. When I attempted to ask for the manager’s name the male at the desk then tried to force me to tell him what wrong, mind you I just seen him hanging with the creep that insisted on me stopping to talk to him when I clearly didn’t want to talk. I wonder if they would have done all this if I was a man?! I’m a strong woman and I know I can be intimidating, but I stay to myself because of that. To be picked on and constantly bothered when I’m in tunnel vision is wild to me! Only cowards bully women.

If I could give this negative stars, I would. Aimee Patel, the general manager, told me that the room, "wasn't that bad." My friends checked in without me late in the evening after having driven seven hours for a vacation weekend. Their room was on the second floor, and due to construction, was quite a trek from their room. Did I mention there was no phone in the room? That meant that all their front desk interactions involved a trek to the lobby. Arriving late as they did, they really just wanted to sleep but felt the conditions of the bed linens were such that they needed to get them changed. Who wants to sleep on blood stains (regardless of whether or not they're baked in washed linens? Are you really going to touch that?) We cancelled the room for the next night, but Niagara being Niagara, there were no other rooms available. Trip cancelled, weekend ruined. Red Roof Inn Niagara refused to refund since technically we did stay a night. Red Roof Inn corporate basically said, "sorry about your luck," as they're seem to be just a reservation system for their franchisees. I'm not normally one to just walk away from an entire franchise because of one bad experience, but if I'm going to roll the dice to spend my money, I might as well use airbnb.

One star is too generous for the health and safety hazard this hotel is made out of. They charge astronomical prices for blood stained sheets and bug filled dirty rooms. Our door had one of the two locks broken, the window was broken, the toilet had a brown crusty stain on the handle. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Please do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else!!

The owner, Sheela, was singularly unfriendly. She was snappy, rude and for no particular reason, took a dislike to us. The lady who checked us in the previous evening was no better. They have a nice motel there with large and fairly clean rooms. And yet, although there weren't too many people checking-in that night, they gave us a room where the bathroom sink was clogged up, there was no mini-fridge and the TV wasn't working. When we complained, we were moved to another room with a brick wall outside the window; a real good room with a view indeed! We paid for three people and yet there were only two towels in the room. They didn't even provide coffee maker in the room. I had to wait for a long time before the lady who called herself Sheela would bring out coffee in the morning at 7:30!! I really have to be careful about staying at Red Roof Inns in the future. One last thing: This place is not secured. Anyone can walk into the motel through any of the side doors. The doors are all wide open.

We highly recommend that you find a different hotel . When we checked into our room, we noticed that the fridge had mold, the microwave was super dirty , and our drawers were dirty . The more we looked in the room the more dirty things we found . This made us question if the room had even been cleaned prior to arrival .we asked to change rooms. The second room we were put in , the lock wasn’t working. The room was already opened when we walked upstairs. We checked to see if there was something wrong with the door and we were able to open it back up with out using our key . Third time was not a charm , the bed sheets were dirty. We left a booked a different hotel.

The rooms have bed bugs. And also smell like stale cigarettes. I have a 5 month old with sickle cell this is horrendous and a sanitary concern. How can anyone sleep comfortably knowing bugs are out to bite the heck out of you. Please don't stay here. I'm calling the business bureau and the health department. This is sick.

Always check your room before you settle! Front Desk service was good, but that’s the only positive I’ll give it. Without a doubt the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. My dad and I were over here just yesterday and our room specifically my bed was covered with bedbugs. I woke up to at least 11 of them across the sheets, across the pillow cases, across the mattress; everywhere. Everywhere I tell you! It was so bad we decided to just pack up and leave this morning, not even telling them, and probably without a reimbursement. If you are looking into a hotel stay for Niagara Falls, avoid this one at all times; the price is cheap for a reason; it’s terrible. You’re way better off paying 50 dollars more for a hotel like Hyatt or Hilton, you will regret coming here the minute you enter the room.

Although staff allowed us to do free early checking but quality of room was poor as well as very poor service. -No room service -no one picked call from reception -insufficient towel , soap and shampoo supply -water in bath tub was not sinking -because of construction in hotel less cleaning all around - no water bottles in room

If it was not for the fact we were so tired we never would have stayed here. When we walked into the hallway it smelled like marijuana. Once in our room it smelled like cigarette smoke. The floors were filthy, to the point it was sticky. The night stand had food on it. At this point i wanted to leave. Like I said we were to tired to continue to drive. When we went to check out and get our deposit there was nobody at the front desk. We tried the phone and was told someone would be there in five minutes. After 20 minutes a women came to the desk and was extremely rude. And had us wait more for our deposit. Because she wanted someone to check our room. I would have brought these issues to the women at the front desk, but she did not seem interested in anything except going back to bed. After several minutes she returned with our deposit and asked in a gruff manner if we had smoked in the room. At that point we got our deposit and left. I get that this is a cheap motel and you get what you pay for. That being said you would think that the rooms would at least be clean. I definitely would not stay here.

The rooms are very spacious and big when compared to all other red roof inn rooms in other locations. The maintenance is pretty good. They have large breakfast seating option. The walkways are well maintained. Only concern was that even though they say non-smoking room we can still smell a little. The ventilation in the room and walkways is good. The staff is really friendly and really tried hard to take care of customers. I hope they provide a small coffee maker in room instead of waiting till 7:30a.m. until they open their complimentary breakfast session.

I don’t think I’ll ever stay again in this place!! The whole place smelled like cigarette and the A/C too, for the sake of your kids I’d recommend not visiting this place. The bathroom was disgusting, the toilet was so dirty, and the shower as well. The floor was so sticky, the cabinets, EVERYTHING WAS DIRTY!! The pool was disgusting, my family and I were happy we found a place with a pool for my kid to enjoy and we couldn’t use it because it was so dirty, I don’t think it even had a filter running. So disappointed of this place, if I could give it 0 stars I would.

We had to wait over 20 minutes to check in bc the front desk clerk had her child with her and had to deal with her. Our bathroom was DISGUSTING! Our blanket was stained, asked for another one and it was never brought to us after they said they would. The headboard had sticky food stuck to it. Are the rooms never cleaned?? Bc it looks that way!! Horrible all the way around!! Will never recommend and will never stay here again!

Currently under remodeling 8-2021. This old Howard Johnsons has good bones.I think the people doing it are doing a better than fair job with what they are working with. My 1st stay at this location & I intend to come back if the the price remains reasonable. Good parking, pool .Beds were spot on very clean & acceptably comfortable..Needs balcony furniture , doors oiled & sound dampening on the door jams .Thumbs up tho.

2-star hotel is correct. Honestly if ur just looking for a place to rest for the night, that is all this hotel is good for and even then it has set back. The room we got smelled like someone had smoked a pack of cigars before we got in and who ever cleans the rooms may need to take some lessons in cleanliness. At least the ice is free and u get a bed. Need I say more.

This particular Red Roof Inn was a pleasant surprise. The franchise was run by a pleasant couple with a little child. They were friendly and the service was great. We stayed in a completely remodeled room for 3 nights. No problems at all. Would stay here again.

Everything it was not worthy of what I spent on hotel booking. No service, the front desk won't answer the calls, the fridge doesn't work, and the floor is sticky. Too costly for that facility. Better to stay at Wyndham which is closer to Niagara Falls and at the same price. The only good thing is car parking

T.J. at the front desk is always helpful & total welcoming pro. The remodel of the whole hotel is looking good for the most part hallways smelled good. Room was clean , fridge was cold upon arrival, bed was clean & comfortable. I got a cute single remodel on the 2nd floor with a small balcony. Needs chairs & tables on the balcony. But overall I didn't feel uncomfortable. The TV service was total junk & cutting out..

Not terrible, not great. Good for a one night stay to sleep. Rooms could use a lot of work, and a thorough cleaning. Our room only had the quick wipe down and clean linens, lots of areas clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

Very clean. We were impressed by how clean the place was. The staff were very friendly and make sure you are a rewards member. At check-in, you get a small gift bag.

The check-in process was a disaster. The receptionist seemed completely disinterested in helping me and took an eternity to find my reservation. When I requested a nearby room accessible from my car because of my 1-year-old baby, she completely denied but I saw a few couples after me getting those rooms. Gave me the farthest room 421.Once we entered the room, there was invisible mud on the floor which was getting stuck on my baby's feet since the baby used to run here and there inside the room. The very interesting thing was, the door got locked from the inside and no one was there to help. Since the room was the farthest no one could hear our cream or heavy door knock from inside. Tried calling reception for 45 min then someone picked up the phone, and after 20 min someone came to help. After another 30 min (no reception picking up the call again ) person got a ladder to enter the room from the other side of the room, After another 30 min of retry he was able to open the door. So overall total waste of the evening was supposed to go to Niagara Falls and totally missed all the bookings. Overall, this hotel was a nightmare. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy. If you value your sanity, comfort, and well-being, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this dump. There are plenty of other options in the area that are infinitely better than this disaster of a hotel. At the checkout when I wanted to talk to someone, the cleaning staff told me to drop-off the key. There is no one to attend to my concern.

Roaches roaches roaches I was giving room 127 and it was a roach in the wall outside the door and two when we walked in the room! The staff are rude and nasty and lazy ! Half the TVs do not work nor do half of the lights, the shower is clogged. Towels are post to be white but they are black and brown! All the rooms smell like cigarettes sheets are dirty and only one bed have pillows! Also the roaches are all over the beds as well

We’ve stayed at many dog friendly hotels before, including other Red Roof Inns. This is the first one that actually felt like we were staying in a kennel. Here’s a list of what we got for the (overpriced) $160 per night price tag: 1) smelly room and hallways; 2) dirty sticky floors; 3) dog hair from a prior guest; 4) holes in the curtains and comforter; 5) patched up holes in walls that nobody bothered to paint over; 6) door safety latch that was falling off; 7) broken microwave; 8) refrigerator ran so cold our beverages literally exploded causing the refrigerator door to blow open; 9) hotel entry doors that did not lock; 10) broken vending machine; 11) parking lot full of cracks, potholes and litter; 12) extremely slow internet service. The only thing that worked was the AC, and the control panel door on that was broken off. The only good experience we had was finally leaving. Also front desk check in pleasant. There may be nicer rooms, but stay out of Room 120.

Ths hotel was not as advertised. The rooms had carpet, not hard flooring. Upon inspection we found trash under the beds, and several bug shells (one was possibly a bedbug, while the others were carpet beetles). We were given 3 towels for the 4 of our family members to share for showering and now me were available for the pool. The rooms smelled of cigarette smoke even though they were listed as “non- smoking” and there was a strong “incense” smell in the lobby that facilitated an instant headache when you walk in the doors. The vending machines were out of order. The ice machine had maybe a handful of ice in it. The pool was decent. The front desk staff was polite and accommodating but was absent during checkout for us to voice our concerns. This was a cheap hotel and I know you get what you pay for. All in all, it got the job done. We bought black trash bags to double bag any clothing we took off in the hotel and didn’t bring any of our luggage into the room in fear of taking home bugs.

Best hotel in Niagara Falls, NY area. Family owned and operated, with brand new renovations. I highly recommend bringing your family here for a trip or even for business/leisure. The mall is very close/walking distance as well for anyone looking to spend time at the outlets.

  • 4/5 Ryan L. 1 year ago on Google
We got in super late and planned to leave early in the morning so we weren’t looking for any bells and whistles. There was a little construction going on and you could tell renovations were in progress to make this a nice little hotel. I think the breakfast could have been attended to a little better. Perfect budget option for passing through.

When we first pulled up it was “ok, they are remodeling “. Which is great. I like to see that places are trying to be better. Rented two rooms. Rooms are updated and really clean. I was surprised that they were are nice as they are. Definitely don’t judge the book by its cover. Lol. My kids’ room door had issues shutting. Had to push it hard to get it to close safely. Not a big deal. Still safe. Typical hotel night stay after that. Went to shave and shower in the morning. No hot water in either room. Disappointing but we made due. Water was 20° warmer than cold so it was manageable. Hopefully the next time we stay here there will be hot water.

The room was extremely dirty it looks like they didn’t even changed the sheet and what a surprise! BedBugs on room 119 😤 we got to the hotel at 2:30 am so the last thing we wanted to deal with was bedbugs, even tho we were staying there for few hours that’s not exactly what you want to bring with you back home, the guy at the front desk was as surprised as us and he assigned us a different room and he went with us and checked the new room and make sure we were comfortable, the problem was the next day when we checked out the lady at the front desk tried to imply that we brought the bed bugs with us because her hotel was extremely clean! Which was not

  • 1/5 Nancy C. 1 year ago on Google
They say it is smoke free but you can smell the smell of cigarettes inside the rooms. At least the inside of the rooms are not carpet, the place needs to be remodeled big time. Breakfast, was fair , the coffee was cold. I really hope they make this a better hotel in the future.

We had a good experience. The room is big. Beds clean and comfortable. 3 adults shared the room. Dog friendly- no carpets 👍 Rated 4 out of 5 because bathtub was clogged. Service came quickly to fix. Location is great from Niagara Falls and restaurants. We didn’t use outdoor pool but other guests did. It is quiet there. WiFi works great. Room has large desk and comfortable chair for working. Furniture is sturdy, my dog didn’t even try to chew on it. She also was not able to go under the beds! 😊🐩🐾

Pet-Friendly, Budget-Friendly Rooms and Awesome Staff. Great place to stay to see all the attractions that Niagara Falls has to offer, located near the airport and the Tuscarora Reservation.

Very poor..the room was not clean at all. There was knife under the table and a used towel and cigarettes inside the drawer. It was so so dirty. There were insects all around. We only stayed for a night so we managed otherwise we would have moved from there. Please do not book this place ever.

This hotel looks straight out of a horror movie. The rooms were what I expected for the price thoe, they are doing construction all over and that’s why it looks like that. Carpet wasn’t extremely cleaned but it wasn’t terrible. TV worked after we plugged the right cables. The beds weren’t perfect but they did the job FOR ONE NIGHT. Bathroom was nice, just that the tub wasn’t draining fast enough. Overall a 2 star hotel.
