Lovely location but unfortunately they've set up gates indicating that the vast majority of the beach is private, although the houses along the beach are set VERY far back. So disappointing, as families are confined to a very small square portion of beachfront. When I went, the private miles of beach were completely unoccupied and the public square was busy with only 2 other families there..

Well its and isolated beach the neighbors are super inviting and friendly and even though its private we were allowed to walk about and swim and play! And we respected other peoples space! We also brought our own garbage bags to dispose of our garbage because we had lots of food! We took our trash with us! Exactly how we came and saw it clean we left it exactly like that! Its beautiful and fun peaceful everyone who came and left were all awesome and friendly folks! I'd definitely go there again!

Nice place to hop in the lake. Good amount of parking. The only downside is the beach area is about 50 feet wide. Which can be fine if it's not crowded but can get cramped if it's busy. Lots of sand and a nice sand bar out in the water perfect for volleyball, or Frisbee.

Terrible beach. Only a small area beach where two fences are private property

Snotty owners on one side make everyone feel unwelcome. The water is clear and warm, but the beach is very small with no amenities like a washroom or even outhouse. Best spot for a quick night/evening swim.

A smaller beach in Ridgeway. There's a nice little board walk here that you can sit on. I would recommend coming here early before it gets busy. There is a large parking lot though so that helps. Clean beach !

It is so tranquil and peaceful. Lovely place to relax when the sun is out. The water is clear and quite warm. Very pleasant to wade in. Only down side at the moment is the green algae. Hopefully this will be only a temporary hindrance. Hence only 3 star rating.

Tiny beach hemmed in by two big houses whose property lines extend into the water so you can't really even walk the beach legally.

The public area could be to crowded due to all the private properties around. But very pretty beach to be at. Fun when the waves start also nice and shallow for little ones!

Between two private properties, this beach is about 5 meters squared. Very small.

It’s the best and quite beach with not a lot of crowd. If you have a dog crystal/bay beach wouldn’t allow. You can drive to Bernard beach it’s a quick 10 min drive. You can tie your dog at this beach on the side. Water is clear and warm, good for swimming and being in the water.

Tiny but nice water was warm and you definitely need water shoes as there is lots of rocks

The beach entrance is pretty much the beach however there is free parking here and there were few people on the beach. The water was great, very shallow and great for families with small children.

This place may not be big and nice as the main beach but will do if you just want to take a dip in the water and get some vitamin D.

Beautiful beach, but it's too small and gets overly crowded in July/August. Lots of bugs and dead fish too

Not much of a beach, unless you're sitting on someone, other than that the views are amazing.

Wonderful water, nice sandy beach. Free parking. However, the public part of the beach is about the same size as a double driveway. It's the smallest public beach I've ever seen. Now, the actual beach is HUGE but it's all privately owned. Don't plan to come unless you have a backup plan because it can fill up fast.

“Snotty owners” Is what I heard from out of towners going into private properties. Hey, they pay a lot of money for the luxury of having a beach in their backyards. If you would like to have a beach without infringing on others you too can purchase one. Welcome to Canada!

Not really a beach just a waterway between two houses

    Little Getaway! With astonishing view.

  • 1/5 Nigel H. 4 years ago on Google
Walk here daily. It's just a public access, the public beach is only about 40ft in length and is shared with a storm drain run off into the lake, either side of this is what they call Private Beach! Between Sept - June you can walk the length of the beach without anyone questioning you. That's the only time.you can really enjoy it. Sadly only a 1star rating because you are made to feel like a 3rd class citizen segregated from those that look over from the beach to the public that are crammed into a pen!

Great little hidden gem...small and surrounded by private property. But the sand is nice and the water rarely has any weeds. Kids love it

Super small beach, about 40 ft for public access but it was beautiful and just 1 or 2 ppl were there when we reached by 7 am. Crystal clear and warm water. We left by 11 am. Good remote beach.

On beautiful lake Erie but too small. Fences on both sides and the beach is approximately less than 200m wide.

Nice beach but the cottagers have hired security so you cant walk across the lake

This beach is secluded and quite. It is surrounded by private beach and cottages. Very sandy and perfect.

  • 2/5 Kristen M. 4 years ago on Google
It is essentially the entrance to the beach for private beaches that the public can use. Super small, if 5 separate groups are there, the "beach" is full.

Small beach area but it was very clean. We are looking forward to going back. The water is clean and very sandy as you walk into the water.
