Well run office. Very efficient and professional staff. Very little wait time on any visit I have had here. Dr. Violante is very good with the "bedside manner" and explains everything clearly. No complaints here.

I've been to both the Amherst and Niagara Falls offices. I prefer the Niagara Falls location. The staff there are always very understanding and caring about you, stemming from the time you check in til the time you checkout. I've had the pleasure of working with 2 doctor's as of late. Dr. Violanti for my foot. He was awesome. In addition, I now see Dr. Mcgraff for my shoulder. Everyone is always smiling, understanding, caring. I'm glad my friend referred me to Excelsior Orthopaedics.

The facility is not only clean but very efficient and ALL staff members are very professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. I highly recommend this Urgent Care Clinic for any orthopedic needs versus going to an emergency room!

Hope your not in a hurry. Waited close to an hour for my appointment. When I asked the front desk how much longer it would be, they told me there were still 4 people ahead of me. I canceled my appointment, got a refund, and left. My time is valuable and I don’t have hours to waste sitting in a waiting room.

Waiting an hour to see a doctor for a follow up appt. STOP over booking. When a patient is so many minutes late they need to rebook at times. My time is just as important as the doctor. Still waiting to see him. SO SAD!!

Even tho I was 25 mins late for Appt - everyone I spoke to from front counter at entrance to lady who put my brace on was absolutely amazing. Friendly and patient. Loved the building. So clean & roomy.

Dr. Jude is an excellent doctor. I've seen him twice. Both times I was highly anxious because doctor's offices spike my anxiety. But Dr. Jude is unlike any other doctor I've seen. He talks to you in regards to why you're there to see him. But he mixes in casual talk and conversation which is fantastic in helping you to relax. This whole office is just a great experience in my opinion. All the staff is just so nice and welcoming.

Very professional and knowledgeable staff, not a fan of most doctor offices but this was an exception...and not a long wait time.

I had left and right knee replacements back to back. Thank you to all of the employees at Excelsior. I felt as though you all were there for me every step of the way. The bundle package is a great idea. After the initial co pay there were no other co payments. I enjoyed the one night stay at the suite. The food was delicious and the nurses were exceptional. Having only 2 patients, they had time to be attentive to our needs. And a special thank you to my physical therapist, Thomas Guetta. A very kind and compassionate man with a great sense of humor.

Great results! I opted to stay in the hospital for one night. Everything went wonderful there as well. The surgical team was outstanding! Very much appreciate being able to know that I'll be able to walk normal again shortly! Overall rating 1 to 10 they get 10.

Absolutely worst patient Dr communication ever. I can't get a call back. I've contacted 3 times and I get the same " we will talk to the person that deals with that and get back to you." first appointment was October 5th. They dropped the ball on filling a request for imaging and keep pointing fingers elsewhere. Update: 12/10/23. Patient care corrdinator contacted me directly and got everything that was needed pushed thru in a very expediant manner. I am updating the review from a 1 star to a 3 as I appreciate the help but it shouldn't have taken a public review to get a result.

  • 2/5 C S. 1 year ago on Google
The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because of the very very very long wait time to see the doctor. I had an appointment at 9:50 AM. I was called into to finish up registration at 10:50 AM. Went back to the waiting room for a bit then finally saw the doctor at 11:20 AM. The Doctor I saw was great and gave me a solid plan for treatment. Also he apologized which was nice but the wait time was very outrageous. Based on the reviews this was maybe just a off day for them but for my first time coming here that was pretty disappointing considering the reviews online.

I had full knee replacement surgery on June 29th. Dr. Shields was my surgeon & I couldn't be happier with the way things turned out. I would definitely recommend Dr. Shields.

Seeing Dr.Burzynski such a caring Dr. takes his time and explains everything. My experience so far has been great!

  • 1/5 Riker 6. 4 years ago on Google
NOT HAPPY I went here to have my VERY painfull knee examined by Dr. Burzynski who also took X-rays of my knee. He said the X-ray showed either a severe case of the Gout or a severe case of Arthritis. He then gave me a shot of cortisone and said that should relieve the pain (WHICH IT HAS NOT IN THE LEAST BIT} I've in pain since August 20th and from a scale from 1 to 10 I've been a full blown 20. Ever since the opid crises no one wants to give any pain medication out but at my age of 66 my medical records will show the stongest pain medication I was ever given was from my dental surgeon HYDROCODONE / ACETAMINOPHEN 7.5 MG 325 MG. IN 2014 when i had dentures installed. So does that make me a person who abuses pain pills? This is total BS when a person like me who has been suffering in pain and has been shuffled back and forth between doctors with no relief. I SURE WON'T GO BACK HERE I'd be scared that if I ever had to have knee surgery all I would get would be baby aspirin's

The staff as well as Dr McGarth were warm and welcoming. They took me on time in this busy office. All the paperwork was taken professionally and efficiently. The X-ray technicians were extremely warm and did their tasks with compassion and professionalism. I was seen by Dr McGarth promptly. He explained what he saw in the X-rays and gave me a clear and precise prognosis. This is my first visit. I was very pleased with the office, staff and Doctor. I recommend Excelsior Orthopedics highly.

I arrived for my appointment and was greeted right away. My wait to see the doctor was minimal. Tony was great in explaining the procedure I will be having. He answered any question I had completely and showed genuine concern. I have complete confidence in Dr McGrath and his PA.

Dr Jude Violante is a real asset for the podiatrist practice. He is compassionate, professional and caring. He is efficient all while providing amusingly/comforting comments. He not only takes care of your podiatrist needs, he reviews how this impacts your overall health.

The care was good and thorough however when I need a question answered they are horrible at returning phone calls or getting back to you. Just today I spoke with someone named nicole and she said she would get me an answer and call me right back and she didnt. The place closed for the day and nothing been trying to get responses for over 2 weeks now.

For Orthopaedics, they do it all. They have multiple locations so make sure which one you have for your appointment. You may be able to get a sooner appointment by choosing a different location or get an appointment on the day/time you would prefer by changing location. I have seen 3 different Doctors that specialise in 3 different ailments under the Orthopaedics specialty. They have all been great.

I was skeptical at first as this being my first guided physical therapy session but my skepticism quickly changed to trust. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional and helped me with therapy exercises that truly helped my condition. They explained everything... how each exercise would benefit and I was reassured that with these exercises I would overcome my hip bursitis. It has only been one week and I already feel a difference. I was also assured that these sessions would not continue on forever and that soon I would be on my own. I would highly recommend this group.... everything about them is top notch.

As a retired Chief Medical Photographer at Columbia University Medical School and N.B.I.M.C., I was given all pertinent information from A to Z. A refreshing experience in professionalism and Medical knowledge. The type of professionalism you would expect from top Medical Professionals in the finest World class Medical Centers. I trust him completely and unequivocally, with my upcoming surgery. I gladly and, wholeheartedly, put my trust in my Surgeon at Excelsior...

I’ve been struggling with an injury for a long time. I’m amazed at the results from specific exercises/stretches designed by Matt at Excesior PT. It is paramount to getting me back to activities I haven’t been able to do in months. “GOAT”greatest of all time therapy-it’s top notch/life changing!!!!

My son was seen my dr behr and workers comp drs are hard to find these days as it is so my son was very hopeful when he went to see dr.behr. However this dr would do absolutely nothing for him just because he is 32 as if his pain is different than someone that's 52 .....without any medical reasoning dr behr refused to continue my son's meds that he needs to have some quality of life. He has tried everything else over the years and his meds help him... I hate seeing him have to suffer. Dr behr doesn't care about his patients wellbeing or the consequences of living in chronic pain......just because my son is a little younger he judged him and that's wrong especially with no medical reasoning.....he lied and said he only really does spinal cord stimulators but is writing and continuing medication for other patients which I don't understand why he would lie to my son like that he originally told him that he would take him off the meds and do the stimulator which doesn't make sense because he is giving other people their scripts so only my son isn't allowed to be treated right because of his age? He has had surgery and everything and needs another....One would argue that quality of life is especially important to someone younger so according to Dr behr my son should suffer in pain the rest of his life because he got hurt at a younger age....... I will be looking into the legality of this

Not as a patient, but simply a driver for one, I was unimpressed by this facility and the parking situation. The tiny front lot was packed, and a small sign next to the door indicated additional parking behind building. Well, yes, there is parking, but on a snowy February morning at 10AM the only shoveled spot was just outside the door. Walkways were untouched. Shuffle down an unmarked hallway to discover a large waiting room. Pitifully poor signage forces a new visitor to cruise the perimeter to find one's destination. OK. Now, what to do with winter coats and hats while we wait? Nothing, apparently. The budget somehow didn't afford a simple coatrack. I counted 15 patients sitting in their overcoats, some with canes and walkers. I used a chair to park my gear. Really? First impressions count. Mine was bad enough to spend the time to write this. Hopefully, someone will take steps to improve the situation.
