(Translated by Google) Small museum worth the detour for the impressive woolly mammoth skeleton. The view of the rock from the terrace is exceptional. In this period of pandemic, symbolic entry price of 1 euro. (Original) Petit musée qui vaut le détour pour l'impressionnant squelette de mammouth laineux. La vue sur le rocher depuis la terrasse est exceptionnelle. En cette période de pandémie, prix d'entrée symbolique de 1 euro.

Stunning view of the ocean. Small museum with 3 floors. There's a blue structure in the garden - Jean-Pascal Flavien's folding house.

Great fun museum with a lot of friendly staff. When visiting Monte Carlo, you have to jump in here to take a look for yourselves and i can guarantee you won't regret it. Very family friendly . A must visit!

Small museum, with focus on education. Quite entertaining for children (preferebly speaking french). A fair number of artefacts from older research in nearby caves. The museum has very friendly and helpful staff, and admission is practically free (€ 1). A nice change of pace to the extravaganza of the ultra-rich, which are very much in evidence in Monaco 😉

It was under renovation when we visited and only one wing is receiving visitors. But for 1 euro, it was well worth it!

(Translated by Google) Only one open room (works). 1 € symbolic for the entrance: nice. And above all, a very beautiful terrace with a magnificent view of Monaco 👌 (Original) Une seule salle d'ouverte ( travaux) . 1 € symbolique pour l'entrée : sympa. Et surtout très belle terrasse avec magnifique vue sur monaco 👌

As an anthropologist I had to visit the museum. It's a very small museum compared to others around Europe/ World, but for the price you pay you will have a great time. It's cool since you have items/ reconstructions of items found near Monaco, and it's also kids friendly with some sheets for painting and make them entertained. Outside you can see a nice view of Monaco. For 1€ (in 2023) it's a pleasant place to visit, I don't even believe that it pays the electricity spent during the time I was inside ahah.

(Translated by Google) It is not very big but it gives you the opportunity to take a short hike in the caves, without danger for children. Next to it is a beautiful garden of exotic plants spread over several levels. To visit (Original) Non è grandissimo ma ti da la possibilità di fare una breve escursione nelle grotte, senza pericolo per i bambini. Accanto si trova un bellissimo girdino di piante esotiche di sposto su più livelli. Da visitare

(Translated by Google) Magnificent museum retracing the life of the region and Monaco from prehistoric times to the present day through permanent and temporary exhibitions. For thrill seekers, a superb mammoth specimen. Rare panoramic view of Monaco. Many activities for children. Open every day, even now 😷. Pour les amateurs de sensations fortes un superbe spécimen de mammouth. Vue panoramique rare sur Monaco. De nombreuses activités pour les enfants. Ouvert tous les jours, même en ce moment 😷.

Small museum but the visit was totally worth it. The exhibits were unique and amazing. Lots of insightful information. The entry ticket is 1 € and the view from the terrace is amazing.

Small, but free with garden admission. The cave (grotto) where these artifacts come from is the really cool part. Tours go there every hour on the hour. The museum itself has some pretty nice taxidermy and skeletons. Unlike US museums, they seem to have originals on display, which is neat.

Had a nice (€1!) visit to this place. It’s small but nice and it has a terrace with a great view.

Took me forever to find it, when I finally did I was told it was already closed at 5.30, even though allegedly it closes at 6 pm. I was really disappointed, as I had hurried and walked so much searching for it and had been so glad when I thought I'd finally found it in time for a quick visit. Absolutely gutted, as the entrance looked really nice and I'd been looking forward to visiting on my one and only day in Monaco, which I also could've spent better than searching for a bunch of closed places. 😞

Nice little museum, quite interesting as it is related to local situation and area.

The museum undergoes an energetic transformation and for now only one room is available with very limited exhibition. It's not worth visiting it now, I'd recommend to wait until the end of the renovation
