The ambience and art of 21c was great but our overall experience was disappointing. When the valet brought up a roll away bed we requested he didn’t bring linens or a blanket. When we asked if we could get those things he said they had a blanket but it was more “like a large towel”. The shower was roomy and water pressure was great but the handheld sprayer didn’t sit in the holder so you had no choice but to hold it the entire time while showering. The bathroom had only half a roll of toilet paper when we arrived as well as only one towel set. We asked for housekeeping to provide fresh linens, more towels and toilet paper but getting these items only occurred after multiple requests. Regarding the toilet paper, my husband ended up helping himself to the housekeepers supply closet he found on our floor. Additionally, our bathroom did not have a hairdryer and when we asked about this we were told that hairdryers had been ordered “months ago” but had not arrived. Dining options were scarce but we did enjoy a delicious steak from the Jones Assembly from around the corner. For those unaccustomed to visiting downtown OKC, where you have to pay to park everywhere, I could see how the parking situation would be frustrating. We knew what to expect with parking so we found access to the garage across the street acceptable for our needs. Individually, any of these issues would be minor inconveniences but when combined they made for a disappointing stay. Short of a quick, overnight visit, I would not consider staying here again when there are so many other options in the downtown area.

This experience was super disappointing!! The Fordson Hotel is now in place of Hotel 21c Museum, but we were not notified of the change until the night before our stay. Walking in, it’s extremely sad looking. It’s such a beautiful building, but 21c took all of the art when they left, so the entire hotel is so empty and bare it’s almost creepy. The front desk staff seemed to all be very miserable working there, but tried their best to be “hospitable.” One mentioned to me, “yeah it’s so empty in here, there’s nothing to look at so we get bored.” And he had drawn his own sketch on a sticky note— the best art I saw in the whole hotel! Also, the pool… yuck! First off, it’s so tiny AND open to the public! We’re paying as much as the Omni Hotel prices but have to share their tiny pool with a bunch of people that aren’t from the hotel. It was also very dirty with trash and towels strewn everywhere and giant hairballs in the water. We quickly left after getting in for a minute. I think it’s a total disservice for Fordson Hotel to be open while switching over management right now. It’s not an enjoyable stay, and for what you get in your hotel experience and room, it is NOT worth the price in the state it’s in. They need to close, fully switch management, finish furnishing and decorating the hotel, and open again. I feel so sad for all of the weddings and events that already booked here that are getting short ended from this management change. Will not be back nor recommend.

Hotel is thoughtfully represented in a historic area of downtown, rightfully representing its past as a former ford factory. Parking outside of valet is a bit out of the way, but a little walk is expected and enjoyed when your down town. Just prepare for inclement weather if your not valet parking. Upon checking in the staff was extremely kind and helpful, they answered any questions we had and asked if we had stayed before. In case you haven’t they will give you a run down of what to expect from the hotel, it’s amenities, and it’s rooms. The food is great and can be ordered from room service, and while you wait you can take a stroll down the hills and through the lobby area, after all, your staying in a literal art museum. The exhibits are unique and beautiful. The purple penguins are an art exhibit within themselves but you can feel free to move and manipulate them. Just don’t take one off the premises. The rooms have high ceilings, espresso machines, industrial styles plumbing attachments, a lit closet, sliding doors, and a massive window beyond the head of the bed. Converting this into a hotel was done so with ample thought. Inside the room lighting is versatile and charging opportunities are ample. Overall a great and interesting stay, even if just for a night, you can’t beat the pricing for what you receive. If you get the chance to stay, book, book, book!!!!

Second time staying at this line of hotels and every single time I am so impressed! I’m a huge fan of art, and I love that they incorporated a beautiful hotel, and blended it with beautiful artwork. This is such a great idea, and we had such a great time. The employees (Erica, and a man with a beard) were so kind, and helped us out tremendously!!! 10/10!!!! Will definitely be staying here again!

As someone that stays in hotels about 15 nights every month, this is by far the best I’ve stayed in. Fantastic rooms, very friendly staff, cool atmosphere. One of the better hotel gyms too. Check out the sauna and steam room after your workout. I ate breakfast in the Bodega on the first floor. Great breakfast sandwich and house coffee. Look out for Juan the housekeeper. Super nice guy that will help you in anyway he can.

First of, this is a really nice and clean hotel. There is a really cool museum in the hotel and most of the staff is incredibly friendly however I did not have a straight forward experience staying here. I was traveling across country and needed a room for a short period of time to sleep. They charge a $75 pet fee which I was unaware of prior to reserving a room. When I arrived at the hotel I learned of the fee, I told the front desk I would find somewhere else to stay because I didn’t want to pay a $75 for such a short stay. The gentleman working the front desk told me they would charge my card for the full amount of the room if I didn’t stay there so I was in a position where I’m basically forced to stay there and pay $75 fee unless I want to lose out the cost of the room and go get another room. This guy really rubbed me the wrong way with the way he was talking to me... this is not how you should treat your guests. In addition to the pet fee situation, I tried to valet my vehicle because I had lots of personal items in the vehicle and I wanted it in a safe location however the staff can’t drive a manual so my vehicle has to stay on the street in front of the hotel. I was okay with and wasn’t a huge deal BUT they still charged me the full amount for valet parking. My statement is showing the room costs me $286 for a one night stay, I think the base price of the room was somewhere between $100 - $120. I charged a coffee and a muffin to my room. I left the room in immaculate condition and still haven’t received my “incidentals” deposit back of $100, we shall see, it’s been 9 days since I stayed there. In summary really nice place to stay if you don’t mind getting clobbered with miscellaneous fees and charges and you actually have some time to enjoy the hotel otherwise I would recommend staying somewhere more straight forward.

This hotel was absolutely amazing. First off the art is amazing along with the plants on every floor. The entire place is very interesting and the people were the nicest and most helpful staff. Brock went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and taken car of. Thank you for the stay.

Beautiful! Just walked around looking at the amazing art and purchased a penguin sticker for my grand daughter. Truly chic. We live in okc but will definitely tell guests about it! Will eat at restaurant sometime.

All I can say is … it was different. Between Mind-blowing and mind-boggling, I don’t know which one to say… Service: the staff are very friendly and always on top of everything. Surroundings: Sightseeing ~ not short of things to see … there’s museum, art exhibition, some creative art sculptures , and even a few videos /movies to watch . Room: upgraded to a suite. Room was huge with tall ceilings and big widows. Very modern and futuristic Facilities: restaurants offers gourmet food. Their new restaurant that connects to the pool was doing a grand opening and tasting event at the time we were there. I would love to go there and try the food if I go there again in the future. If you are tired of the ordinary 5 star hotel owned by the big enterprises, definitely check this place out. Nice for a change!

Enjoyed the easy check in and helpful staff. The room was crisp and clean. Big fluffy towels and a rubber ducky greeted us. The high vaulted ceilings and huge windows made it feel spacious. The boutique style pool was a great spot for cocktails and snacks. I really loved staying here!

Our entire family stayed at the hotel for my daughter’s wedding. The staff is amazing, the rooms were all a little different from the next and all rooms were very clean. It was a fun place to stay with restaurants downstairs and tons of art to look at. I recommend recommend staying at this hotel. We will certainly be back!

There are very few places I give a 5-Star rating but the 21c Museum Hotel is definitely one of those. Excellent property, outstanding and helpful staff, and cleanliness beyond reproach. The valet / bellmen, being the first face of the hotel you see, are beyond exceptional and friendly upon each and every encounter. Additionally, the bar, restaurant, and the pool bar all are worth of a try as I found them to have great choices, excellent food, and amazing staff. 21c is definitely firing on all cylinders. Recommend giving it a go while in town.

My first time in Oklahoma City I stayed here it was such an amazing experience! It’s a very artsy and a little bit spooky hotel. There is a very Interesting art museum on the first floor but there is also art all throughout the hotel. The art is very modern. Near the elevators on the first floor there are a few old school TVs playing random scenes on people in waiting rooms and doctors offices. None of the TVs have sound but there was a loop of bird sounds playing on repeat which was kind of nice. Each floor has very tall ceilings, the hallways are super funky and cool but also very dimly lit. The rooms are modern and SO cool, there are floor to ceiling windows and a cute rubber ducky in the bathroom. I was told by the staff that the building used to be a Ford factory I believe. The staff were very friendly and informative each interaction I had with each staff member was positive. I can not wait to return!

We have stayed here with our dog twice and find it to be an easy, welcoming, clean place. Rooms are big and well outfitted. Super comfy linens and pillows. Would wish for more towels (just two provided.). Friendly staff, interesting art and spaces. Dog friendly!!

Really interesting, unique hotel! A hotel and art museum in one! I really enjoyed this hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Cleanliness was impeccable. The hotel is very modern/industrial decor. Much like a New York City loft. I would HIGHLY recommend.

My husband and I stayed a month ago. The location is perfect! We were able to tour local breweries and eat dinner. We loved big shower and room. The staff members were kid. It was difficult getting to parking from inside the hotel. Everything wasn’t labeled well.

Stayed here with my flight crew and we LOVED it! The Museum has beautiful artwork and the rooms are stunning. The staff downstairs were very friendly and even helped me charge my phone when my charger decided it was done. They recommended a nice little place around the corner, which I really enjoyed! We’re already planning a trip to OKC just to visit this hotel again.

My family booked two rooms here with hopes that the museum would be open, but unfortunately upon arrival we were sad to find out the museum portion was closed for a private party. My problem with this is that this was not communicated upon booking. When I asked the staff why it wasn’t disclosed they answered that they “don’t communicate with the private parties”. Needless to say, they need to work on communication and transparency.

Let me first say, all the staff have been exceptional! Even the valet helped me with an extra bag I needed and brought my car all the way back around for me. The room and amenities however were found lacking. The bathroom door is a giant slider with no lock and there is no intake fan for steam and noise. No small fridge for drinks or leftovers at the restaurant to be kept. The ceiling is completely chipping away and there are huge open mount holes where prior lighting used to be. Another bummer was no lounging area outside for gathering for drinks and smoking. Experience has been okay but I’ve spent less for a higher quality stay in many areas. Staff was great, and good drinks at the bar

Love this hotel. Rooms are extra spacious and comfortable. The Bodega is excellent for breakfast and as a coffee shop throughout the day. You can also enjoy the art collection in the lobby. Convenient downtown and other local attractions.

While facing a family crisis, my sister, son, and two dogs crashed and slept amazingly in this hotel. My son loved walking around the lobby. My sister loved the sauna. I was very impressed with the staff: night checkin as well as Hannah and her afternoon staff. Great experience even though it’s hard times. Thanks for everything.

Love this hotel, good location for a night life the 80s retro bar around the corner was awesome, the rooms was huge with tall ceilings and big widows. A modern feel, the museum throughout the hotel on the first level was pretty cool and my kids loved it. The art work on the other floors was pretty cool. The restaurant for the hotel was a bit pricey but good. The staff was very accommodating. Will definitely stay here again.

Awesome concept and very well executed.. I loved the look and feel of every part of the space. The first floor house a small but adequate art museum, definitely a must see if on site. Very cool that they've kept so much of the original building exposed and open. Stayed in a HUGE suite. High ceilings, lots of open space, fabulous bathroom with wet room. The entire space has great art and decor, clean lines, and upscale details. I only give it 4 Stars because I didn't have a chance to experience everything available..restaurant, outdoor space, etc. Next time around I'll give these a go for sure.

I've attended two different events here and have been very impressed. The ambiance is fantastic, the valet is quick and efficient and the accommodations above and beyond. Like most conference rooms, it can get a little chilly.... so bring a sweater. But I love coming here now because I know it's going to be a great day. Pro tip: try the BBQ fries.

Interesting for sure. An art museum and hotel in an old warehouse. Rooms have high ceilings that make them feel bigger than they are, beds are comfy and so are the pillows. The art is odd IMHO but not bad. It had a tendency to capture my attention and hold it for a while trying to make sense of it. Probably one of the neatest bathrooms I've been in too.

We had a wonderful night with friendly, helpful staff and excellent beds. The room was clean, smartly decorated with all the amenities. We had an outstanding breakfast at the adjoining and beautiful Mary Eddy’s restaurant. We had easy, cheap parking right across the street. In addition to all that, we were surrounded by art.

I had a great stay! All the folks that work there were very helpful and nice. The room was spacious, modern, and full of cute, thoughtful additions. The bed was VERY comfortable! I ate at both the Bodega and the Pool Bar while I was there and both had yummy food and beverage options. All around it was a great hotel and I look forward to a future opportunity to stay there!

The room itself was great and I loved the big windows and the industrial / modern feel of the decor. However, when it comes to the rest of the space it appears that the guests are stuck playing second fiddle to private parties. I arrived around 6pm on a Monday and since 21c charges a premium for the fact that it is a museum/art gallery I was looking forward to viewing the art before going to dinner. Unfortunately when I arrived the majority of the main floor (containing the majority of the art) was rented out by a private party that wouldn't be gone until 9pm. Strike 1. The front desk apologized and said that although Mary Eddy's (the on site restaurant) was closed on Monday there was a free shuttle that could take us to a variety of restaurants in the area for dinner. After making reservations and coming down to take the shuttle around 7:15 I was informed by the doorman that a private party had reserved the shuttle form 7-9pm and that we would need to find another way to dinner. I had to change our 7:30 reservation to account for finding another way to dinner. Strike 2. The next day I figured my private party woes were over but after breakfast I sat down to work at the on site coffee shop. After 5 minutes one of the staff came over to me and said that I was going to need to leave in 30 minutes because of another private bridal party that was coming to view the space. Strike 3. I guess the good news for 21c OKC is that they have a nice space that people want to rent out for private parties and events. The bad news is that if you are a guest during one of these seemingly frequent events many of the hotels amenities may be off limits to you while the hotel collects a premium price from you and double dips with their event space revenue stream. I definitely won't be coming back without confirming that I will get to use the space I am paying a premium for.

Nice location in the center of town. Lovely building with an array of interesting artwork. The rooms are fantastic with unique decor, comfortable beds and high ceilings. The staff was very friendly and helpful including welcoming my Labrador as a guest.

  • 4/5 Kerstin H. 8 months ago on Google
The building and the rooms are different to your standard hotel chains. Because of its history the rooms have an industrial style with very high ceilings for example. The beds are comfortable, bathroom and room very spacious and clean at first glance. Nice pool area, parking close by.

Poor customer service upon entering as a new guest. Sheets had a blood stain or makeup. Either way, gross. Asked for the sheets to be changed and was handed them instead with an excuse about why they couldn't provide the service. For a 4-star hotel, I expected a better experience.

  • 5/5 Jay P. 2 years ago on Google
Great room. Minimalist, loved it. Everything was hidden away or streamlined. Enjoyed the attached restaurant, although they were unable to meet the timeline they committed to. The food was excellent but pricey, as are the rooms but it is a 21c. The collection was eclectic, fun, thought provoking and worth viewing.

Loving this place! We secured ourselves a little trip for two days and decided on staying here for the first time. We got to the hotel and to our surprise we were upgraded to a loft suite for free! It was a definitely a treat for us while celebrating our 9th anniversary. The bodega was super cute and the cashier was a sweetheart.. food was hot and fresh. Ted at the front desk in the hotel was a very friendly guy and greeted us every time we came in as well as recommended some nice places nearby to enjoy. Super awesome experience, everything was lovely and the staff were all certainly awesome.

Loved the stay here for our anniversary! Huge room with windows from every angle with nice views. Comfortable bed and lounging furniture. They surprised us with a bottle of champagne upon entering our room. So great customer service….we weren’t expecting that! Loved the cafe inside the hotel-they serve a delicious breakfast. Close to downtown as well.

Unique hotel which was once a Ford factory. Art throughout building adds a nice touch, hence the museum name. Nice rooms with high ceilings and a rubber ducky if you can find it. One of my favorite stays. Outside area is not too great.

  • 5/5 Benji L. 1 year ago on Google
[ + ] The embodiment of perfection. the room was sizeable and unique. the museum exhibits were remarkable and thought provoking. staff were approachable and more than helpful when needed. and the in-room dining options were divine. [ - ] my only gripe might be in regards to the lack of pet friendly walking areas. it's somewhat difficult to find anything within close proximity, and walking down to the only patch of grass at the end of the street was absurdly unsafe. we had to pace back inside without actually going (a number of times) as the area is shared with all types of commuters and even some homeless folk. all things considered, do yourself a favor and book a night here. it's well worth the asking price, and impossible to beat at the current rate.

Threw a Surprise Birthday Party for my wife in the Penthouse Suite and it was perfect! From the moment I first called asking questions, through the entire event, the staff was so proactive, professional, and caring. All our friends loved the party, the hotel, and their rooms as well. The hotel also has so much artistic character, is in a great location, and treats everyone like they are the best! Any events you want to do, call Jaclyn!!

We had a great anniversary here. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience. Ask them to show you around their favorite exhibits and best food/drink. We were pleasantly surprised at how willing everyone was to help us navigate through the many options!

Incredible space. The art is outstanding and you have to see the floor with icons located on the first floor. Our hotel room was lovely with lots of huge windows although none of them opened. It felt a bit like being locked in and I like having the option of accessing fresh air when staying at any hotel. I wish the front staff knew more about the art in the hotel or there was a guide listing all the art. A self guided audio would be a helpful tool that could be added to the website.

If you are traveling to or thru OKC. This is a great place to stop, shop and eat. The shops are in the original buildings. They are as western as they can be. Eat at a restaurant that originally was one in a dice game rolling a hard 6. Cattleman's Restaurant rated 6th in the top 50 steak house in the USA. Stockyards City is a great place to visit.
