We are deeply disappointed with our stay. The room was tolerable, but the service was disastrous. It seemed as if the staff constantly ignored us, and their unfriendliness turned the stay into an ordeal. Adding insult to injury, our belongings were damaged by the hotel employees and we were offered neither a solution nor any form of compensation. The disregard for basic hospitality turned our visit into a nightmare. We can only advise against visiting this hotel until management has seriously addressed its service issues. Strangely enough, every time a bad review is posted, another person shortly thereafter rates the hotel with 5 stars. If that doesn't smell like bought reviews, I don't know what does..

This is an historical jewel, although quite young by European standards. I only stayed 16 hours, so take this review in stride. The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are quaintly appointed with all the necessities I've come to expect in German guest houses. The breakfast was delightful and the staff very friendly. I speak German well enough, but the staff switched to English flawlessly when I struggled to find a word. There was a wedding that day, but you'd never know it from any noise. Still, It would be a privilege to celebrate in such a place. I've given a lot of 5 star reviews lately, but I blame it on people like me sharing their experiences in detail so I could make good choices. Places like this set the bar for which other accommodations will strive. I look forward to my next visit.

Very nice rooms, good beds. Breakfast included with a large choice from sausages to cereals. Nice personnel. For children there is a good playground with some animals next to it (bambis, horses, checken, etc).

Travelling with the family from Austria to Sweden we had a quick stop-over. Very convenient with nice rooms, good service and a great breakfast. The place is big, but have managed to maintain a feeling personal care.

The rooms were really great, the breakfast was really good, they gave me great service but I don't think I really utilized their services that much.

The hotel very clean with a good breakfast, it is in a good location for the exhibition grounds in Hannover. The negative points are that I was given a room in the second floor, there is no elevator, the room has only one window which is kind of a sun roof, the WiFi has very poor connection.

I wasn't impressed. There is nowhere near enough parking. I was ignored on arrival, possibly because I was wearing jeans, the served a guy in a suit who came in the door behind me. My room was not clean, one lamp was filthy with the controls missing. The other had a defect lightbulb. The bathroom made me not want to use the sink too. Loose fittings, wallpaper peeling. No thanks. I only stayed here because I was booked in by my company. I wouldn't spend my own money on it if I had the choice.

Grandiose place with many rooms and nice garden. Kind service, huge restaurant, plenty breakfast. Close to the highway with lot of parking places. Ideal for transit

We were there yesterday for an A level party ( abiball ) and found everything great. The buffet was excellent, waiters were very good, always asking if anything was needed and a quick response time for bringing drinks. I can recommend it for any event. We were over 200 people and the hotel has an excellent backdrop for photos.

Have only been here for lunch, but the food was the most disgusting I've ever had at a place with a rating this high. The fish was old and the other ingredients also did not taste anything close to fresh. It took them forever to take away the finished plates and when they finally did, they left the empty drinks and disappeared too fast to order anything else to drink. Doesn't make any sense to me, was dying off thirst.

Very good Hotel, nice staff totally looking for the customers. They also have a great cook! Taste the „Rouladen“ AMAZING! Perfect location for all celebrations from Birthdays to Weddings! Love the „Tenne“ 😍

Pillow are so flat like bed sheets very uncomfortable. Duvets for winter not summer.

Bathrooms were updated and clean. Hallways and elevator were clean and inviting, too. I especially appreciated that corners were vacuumed and there were no cobwebs. Lots of choices for breakfast Great, easy to use shower. Pillow cover was stained which was off putting, because I wasn't 100% sure it was clean. Relaxing location with horses and reindeer. My kids rooms overlooked the animals and they loved it.
