Holocaust Tower

Museum

👍👍 The Holocaust Tower is a 24 m tall silo designed by architect Daniel Libeskind within the premises of the Jewish Museum in Berlin. The bare concrete structure is neither heated nor cooled, it is isolated from outside sounds, and its only light comes from a small slit in its roof.

It is an amazing place to feel vibes of brutal history of jews however I felt it's biased with too much of advertisements, to overshow that how good we are and how nice our religion is, instead of presenting raw historical data. (I guess that's normal in any museum when they offer free entrance)

The best museum I’ve visited in Berlin, things about WW2 but also exhibitions explaining Jewish religion, culture, traditions & habits. Magnificent

This is one of the most visceral experiences I had in Berlin so far—it’s a small, very dark, chamber with muffled sounds from outside, giving you a space to reflect on the enormity of the Holocaust.
