We stayed 3 nights with my girlfriend on New Years Eve. I think we made a really good choice for the money we paid. The hostel's owner Kathryn hosted us very nicely. We can honestly say that she was the best hostess we've ever seen. The modest room with the single bed we stayed met our expectations. Our bed was very comfortable. Beautiful interior design in the public areas of the hostel was also available in our room. Due to the cleanliness and spaciousness of the common areas, we did not look forward to throw ourselves out of the hostel. When planning our trip, we had to leave early to see a lot of important points in Berlin in a short period of time. So the breakfast time from 09:00 to 11:00 was a little late for us. I wish we had breakfast between 08:00 and 10:00. We really loved the breakfast we could have only once. Transportation did not create any problems. The location of the hostel is very central. If we come back to Berlin, we stay again. Don't hesitate for selection. It was a very good experience for us.

This hostel had the sweetest vibe and I loved my short stay there. The hosts were so kind and lovely. I had a loft double bed and it was so fun. I felt like a kid! Very very chill - not a social hostel, but that’s what I was looking for. They have a communal kitchen and I made myself tea and food. It’s right near a lovely suburban area littered with cafes and shops.

Really great rooms in a cool area. It's a bit of a walk to Brandenburg gate etc but the kreuzberg area is interesting and has a good night life and with Berlin's easy public transport its no issue at all. The host is lovely and the breakfast is great. Couldn't recommend more!

Nettes, kleines Hostel mitten im Szene-Viertel und zugleich mit dennoch angenehm ruhiger Lage. Wir waren für zwei Nächte hier. Leider hatten wir in der ersten Nacht einen Raum, der sehr unangenehm gerochen hat. Aber wir konnten zum Glück für die zweite Nacht in ein anderes Zimmer wechseln. Die Inhaberin ist äußerst sympathisch und entgegenkommend. Die Gemeinschaftsbadezimmer waren sauber. Absolut für Kurztrips nach Berlin zu empfehlen!

Great location. Modest but funky accommodations in a comfortable setting, Kathrin is an excellent and personable host. Willing to let me stash my bag for a few hours after check out too, which was so helpful. Enjoyable stay.

Did I love coming back after last year! Everything is as it should be, good rooms, super clean, great neighborhood and such a lovely owner and staff. I can only recommend this place!

Wir hatte eine sehr schöne Zeit. Das Hostel ist sauber, das Bett im Doppelzimmer ist riesig und bequem. Sehr nette Beseitzerin :) Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal da und es hat uns wieder sehr gefallen. Die Betten sind so bequem und die Lage ein Traum. Alle sind sehr freundlich und wir fühlen uns immer wie Zuhause! :) danke!

Wirklich superschöne Unterkunft. Es ist alles sehr hübsch und gemütlich eingerichtet. Kathrin war super freundlich und lieb, sie hat mich sehr herzlich begrüßt. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

The hostel is in a good location for access to sightseeing. The hostess, Kathrin, is very friendly and helpful and was always working on the place when I was there - I appreciated her daily cleaning! She was also very accommodating of my late check-in time. I appreciated the free Wi-Fi, but I was confused because the Google reviews mentioned free breakfast, and I was not offered breakfast during my stay. I also found that my room's decor made it hard to relax - the flooring had a busy, wallpaper-like pattern, the door was painted in uneven gold tones, and the wall behind the bed had a rather gaudy paint job. The bed itself was fine and I slept reasonably well. There were two toilets and two separate shower rooms down the hall from my room—I was happy to find that there was a complete bathroom (toilet + shower) right next door to me! Overall, I enjoyed my stay in Berlin and was happy to have a safe and clean place to come back to at night. Thank you Kathrin!

One of my favourite hostels I've ever stayed in! The owner really makes your experience there, she's fun, accommodating and helpful. The breakfast spread is nicely done, and the hostel is a light and airy use of space, with trendy furnishings throughout, the owner has great eye for detail! Great cleanliness too. Will definitely stay again!

Our stay was very pleasant. The hostel is super cute and Kathryn the host was very nice and accommodating. Both times we stayed there for one night we couldn't make it in time for check in and she arwanged for us to still be able to get our room key no problem. There is also breakfast included in your stay which was very convenient and adorable.

Great stay and a really friendly host who knows Kreuzberg inside and out! The hostel felt more like a boutique hotel, and was really nicely designed and kept super clean.

The rooms were clean, as we're the bathrooms which were able to be private. The rooms were also very spacious. Our hosts were very kind and we're willing to help us with anything, whether it be directions or suggestions! A nice small homey hostel.

How do i start this. First off. The location sits in between the airport and the bustling city. We managed uber by 40euro. Which was reasonable considering the train ticket from airport to this nearest station is 19.90euro already and not included of bus and walking. 2nd it wasnt that hard to spot that "U" signboard. 3rd. The owner kath was kind, friendly and definitely helpful. We sort of reached early from the 1st story. And she hustled abit to get it ready. Explained everything. Showed the place and thats that. 4th the room. Its kinda funky. Our bed needs some climbing. Something thats amazing as is and different to our usual asians hotel. So i cant grade this any less than 5. Last but not least. Towels provided only. Oh and the toilet super clean.

Been there in 2016 and cannot rate it less than 5 stars. Super friendly staff, excellent location, great breakfast, fair price.

Nice place to stay and even work!

Oh my, I cannot recommend this place enough. Having a room to myself was lovely enough but it being affordable, conveniently located (6minutes from the train), near all kinds of good food and it being a cute clean room was great. The owner is also a very sweet lady.

Fantastic little hostel right in the heart of Kreuzberg. The owner greeted me right when I arrived and showed me all around. The rooms are really well done and this place is super clean!

It was a nice surprise in Berlin. This place is tidy, clean and cozy! We enjoyed a lot our stay. The owner is very Kind and friendly, and she speaks english.

Great Hostel, Great Location, Great Host! - Very close to U-Bahn (Schönleinstraße - U8) which takes you directly to Alexanderplatz. - Very safe and secure place to stay in a nice neighbourhood. The front door of the hostel is locked and only guests have access at all times. - Nearby to supermarkets (Netto, Edeka, Lidl). - Very close to a wide variety of restaurants and bars. - Kathryn (the main host) is very welcoming, very friendly, and always willing to help and accommodate your needs - and she speaks great English! - Breakfast is continental, but offers a great selection and is always very tasty and well presented. - Good value for money. - Very clean, welcoming, and unique environment to stay in. Overall, would definitely recommend Lekkerurlaub.

Excellent hostel. We spent 3 nights at Lekkerurlaub, and felt right at home. Kathrin, the host, is very kind and helpful. Besides helping out with directions, she also booked our cab to the airport for us. Our room was cosy and clean. The same goes for the shared bedroom. Breakfast is included in the price, and is nice and varied. This is not the right place to meet other travellers though. There is a common room, but it seems to serve just as a breakfast area. We never found other travellers sitting there.
