Had a nice stay until they refused to return my 10 euro key deposit due to checking out 30 min late. Otherwise cheap and nicely located, however slow wifi in rooms and kids constantly playing right outside.

Best place ever. Grounds are beautiful, staff is lovely and helpful, everything here incredibly reasonable and life is good. Exactly what you need no more no less and as mentioned you don’t need more. Will come again and then hopefully again again. I will recommend to all friends going forward and odds are we aren’t friends if you’re reading this but I recommend it to you too if you are someone who likes when things are nice but perhaps not necessarily Nice Things. Even though this place is both :) Also I did not get the chance to try the daily meals as there was so much great food in the neighbourhood my stay was not long enough but it smelled incredible and was always fairly priced

I stayed there one night. Great location, in a left-wing alternative district and has something of a kibbutz. The only drawback - it was in room number 6 and there was a youth or school group in the corridor, they were quite loud between 10:00 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. After that it was quiet. I would recommend taking ear plugs with you. If the operators make a surplus, I would invest in soundproofing the rooms. There is a Penny with a drinks market right nearby and a Rossmann a little further.

One of the best places to sleep in, cheap, comfortable and you have access to everything in the area by foot very easily. The breakfast is also very good and I will book a place to sleep there again.

I am glad to have spent 10 days at Regenbogenfabrik. A beautiful social project with a kindergarten for children, a low-cost neighborhood canteen, a bar, a small carpentry shop and a bicycle workshop. Many cultural events and a unique atmosphere. The room was spotless and the bathrooms, although shared, were always clean. A kitchen is available with everything you need. In the area many locals at a low cost where you can eat well. The Kotbusser Tor underground station is nearby, I think 5 minutes on foot, maybe less. Near the station there's a neighborhood museum, perhaps the most interesting in Berlin, that tells the Kreuzer 36 since the 1800s, not only the problems and difficulties but also the tenacity and cohesion of its inhabitants and how they have been able to face them. I recommend anyone to choose Regenbogenfabrik because it is one of the best doors to get to know Berlin, and because it is a real project and not only a facade.

The bicycle workshop is great if you have a rough idea and may need used parts. The prices are more than fair. I always give a little more. If you get there without a plan, you have to bring a lot of time with you or you might be sent home if there are too many.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a hostel, the personal are extremely rude and unwelcoming. It's cold and they have a bunch of extra fees you have to pay without knowing it. You want sheets? That's 6 euro. You want a towel? That's 3 euro. Oh you want a KEY TO YOUR OWN ROOM THAT YOU HAVE BOOKED AND PAYED FOR? THAT WILL BE 10 EUROS. On top of that the personal is really loud early in the morning so if you plan on sleeping past 9.00, sucks to be you. Overall this place is a nightmare, a cold and scary nightmare. Never go here.

Great hostel in the middle of Kreuzberg. Very nice hosts and relaxed atmosphere. I'd love to come back.

Cheap hostel with an excellent team and two downsides: The Regenbogenfabrik Hostel is well connected, very affordable and very friendly in terms of both the grounds and the staff. The facilities are acceptable and there is free Wi-Fi. There is a kindergarten, a cultural cinema, a bicycle workshop and other event rooms on the site. As a result, there is often something going on until the evening that you can find charming or annoying. Unfortunately, the location near Kottbusser Tor and Görtlitzer Park means that the area only feels “conditionally safe” in the evening. I've never had any problems with anyone, but shouting teenagers and homeless people could be a reason to avoid some guests. Furthermore, the hostel is very noisy, which in combination with the evening program, other guests and cleaning staff leads to rather short, quiet nights from around 9 a.m. However, earplugs solve this problem very well. If the two above mentioned Points are not a problem, I can only warmly recommend the Hostel Regenbogenfabrik!

I liked the place it felt like a student summercamp. I recommend bringing a travel charging adapter with multiple USB slots, as the room had only one 220 power socket

Went there for a christmas event and a concert. Really really worth it, really nice place and most of all amazingly kind workers there! I also warmly recommend the kaffé because it's truly amazing!!

I went for my bike repair and it's a great place with a chilled and hippie vibe. People are extremely nice and rates are good. If you don't know how to fix the bike then they will guide and help you.

Nice hostel in Kreuzberg. The rooms had summer camp energy. Staff was very nice and pleasant! Would be recommended for students/young people in particular but I have also seen older guests!

Basic hostel with all the basics you need. Clean and orderly rooms, public faculities and bathrooms. There is a even little kitchen and with enough equipment to make something warm to eat for a few people. The buildings are all around a central placa with benches, a playground and lots of trees. Perfect if the weather allows :)

Hi guys. Absolutely awesome. Everyone was really nice and the email traffic was a great service. The standard could be closer to the meadow and the Spree but ok, you can still get to the center on foot 😁 super quickly. Gladly again next time.

The lady in the reception covered me a value of 2 euros for the towels, while it is not much I found it pretty rediclous. Also, they do not serve breakfast at the moment which is minus for me. Also, the corredors and bathrooms are super cold without central heat working. In general good for singles but would not recommend for couples or families. You get what you are paying for

Original Kreuzberg feeling in this alternativ Hostel/Restaurant/café/Cinema and a lot more. Very lovely people work there and everything is affordable. I highly recommend staying/eating/stoping by here. There are also great art exhibitions and concerts etc.

Old Kreuzberg vibe, very good and organised if you need to fix a bike. Just take your time and go there at 1 to make sure you get a stand.

Truly a wonderful and little hostel. It was very cleanly and the staff were very nice. The bathrooms are clean and very private. This is one of my favorite hostels in the city. I defintely recomend checking this one out. There are 4 beds in each room and the rooms are small and quaint. There is a cafe downstairs as well as a biycle shop right next door.
