Ghosthunter Brandon Darkmoor is a phenomenally cinematic escape room experience, truly amongst the most memorable of the 500+ escape rooms I've played to date. This game so beautifully blends drama and humor through detailed sets and props, tons of story, and some truly mind-blowing transitions. We also had a blast in Lost Treasure and Beast of Berlin. Very highly recommend!

Actually, the craziest and best escape room I know, 2 visits so far, 0 of which were disappointed. Do you like very cool backdrops and puzzles? Then definitely go there if you can :)

The lost treasure room was fantastic. Other escape rooms are also beautifully done, but this one is so well and lovingly and professionally designed that you never have the impression that you are in an escape room. Everything seems very real. The puzzles are tricky, but fair. There are different effects. Also worth highlighting is the acting performance of the “Humboldt student”, who introduces you to the game. He was so convincing that you almost forgot you were in a game. Simply great. We had a lot of fun and we recommend it 100%!

From the first second we were hooked, a lady approached us as we waited to meet a manager of the room company, this lady from the very beginning pulled us in with her exemplary acting, myself and my daughter went in and did the ghost hunt, I can honestly say it was the best experience I have ever had, jumps, bumps, screams, laughs, intensity and very helpful clues. The lighting and sound made it so realistic. Please, please visit this empecible team you will not regret it.

Very immersive and thought out. They've integrated really unique mechanics. The rooms aren't that challenging though, they're more for the experience.

Really cool escape room Been there twice I don't want to give spoilers, but there are lots of cool puzzles to solve Depending on the puzzle, a lot of brain power is required or even a bit of exercise 🤣 I really liked it You can have a little beer first Toilets available

These escape rooms are really cool. Today we played ghost hunters, we already had everyone else. Ghostbusters is such a great experience and a lot of fun. Super great introduction and really nice employees. Keep it up👍🤗

Update: Went there again. Really great. Everything works, cool puzzles, doable. Did I say Go West was the best room? The Beast is in no way inferior! Again 5* ----- Totally nice support, we went to Go West and had a lot of fun because the puzzles were structured in a sensible and solvable way. The best escape room so far because everything in the room worked. For claustrophobic customers: Information about the escape room is correct.

It was a great experience. If you get involved in the game, you go into another world. The “Lost Treasure of Alexander von Humboldt” was exciting.

Absolutely fantastic. Great details in the rooms, good game masters. More than recommended

We played The Lost Treasure. It was really great, the best escape room we had played so far. We were “thrown” straight into the adventure without any instructions 😁 Without wanting to give spoilers: great puzzles, great atmosphere, challenging but doable. A nice team too! In short: absolutely recommended and always happy!!!

In one word: great! The two of us played “Go West”. Everything was very lovingly designed and it was easy for us to empathize with the scene. Our game leader Haider was terrific. We'll definitely be back!

Highly Recommended! We have already been to 3 of the escape rooms. Very good puzzles every time, not too easy and not too difficult. Multiple rooms per game and attention to detail in decoration. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Toilets and parking spaces are available.

One of the best escape rooms in Berlin! We've done two of the four rooms so far and both have been incredibly good. The atmosphere in the rooms is even better because furniture and other objects from the respective period are used in the rooms. The puzzles are challenging, but not unfair or so far-fetched that you constantly need tips. Technically, the rooms are also at an absolute tip level. All rooms can also be played in English.

Extraordinary amazing experience. Been playing 40+ games now and this steals the crown. I had the immense joy of playing brandon darkmoor and my fiancé played the lost treasure. We were both blown away on the work of art, detail, gameplay and best of all how well the immersive storyline drags you in from start to finish. Cant wait to come back to berlin and try the other games. Thank you for an amazing experience.

UPDATE We also played “Beast of Berlin”. This room was also just great! The design is very stylish and authentic! We played “Go West” and loved it! The setting is very lovingly and authentically furnished. The game leader was very nice and explained everything very well. We can only recommend “The Room” to everyone ☺️👍

We did "The Beast of Berlin" Hands-down, one of the best escape rooms I have done and I have seen quite a few in Malta (4), Vilnius (4) and the Philippines (1). The puzzles: The puzzles were a mixture of logic and luck (in terms of finding all the necessary materials you need through observations of the things inside the room). You need to make sure to examine every inch! We never had issues of the puzzle peices because all keys and peices work as long as you are using them correctly. I felt that the materials in the game were very well maintained! The Story: What I appreciated most is that the puzzles followed the natural progression of the story. There are rooms when you don't really care of the story that much but this room will make you actively feel that what you are doing is part of the "investigation". Without spoiling much, it was a properly written one. It helped that the game master gave us the first atmosphere of being "investigators" upon entrance. The hints: The hint system was very good! And even without hints, the room was designed not to have too much red herrings. That's all I can say. The ending: The finale was the best part of the game. Hopefully all players get to see this part!

The two of us were treasure hunters and right from the start we were really excited about the original introduction to the game. The room was full of surprises and the puzzles were well structured. 100% recommendation! The souvenir photos are really great.

This place deserves every 5 star rating there is. Super friendly stuff and the rooms are very lovely detailed. From the first second stepping into your adventure the time is just flying by and you are totally forgetting the outside world. An amazing experience.

This place and the people in it are absolutely fantastic. The rooms are done with such great detail, a super nice story line rounded with great acting. Highly highly recommended. So far, the lost treasure is my absolute favourite! Thanks guys for a great experience.

Today we went to “Go West” as a group of four. In short: it was fantastic. I didn't think it would be so fun. The old original props were also funny, bringing back memories of childhood and youth. The story is absolutely coherent and the tips are effective in an emergency. Many thanks to Paul for the nice game management. We'd love to come back for another game.

Today we went to the ghost hunter with our 3 children (9, 12 and 15 years old). I had asked in advance whether this would be okay with the two younger kids - they sent me a link with a video to give me a better insight and assured me that it wouldn't be a horror experience. Only a few moments of shock and a bit of horror were to be expected. No problem with our children, they like to get scared sometimes. Ultimately, as a parent, you should know best. Unfortunately there were a few problems with the technology, so our ghost hunt was delayed a little (max 10 minutes). While we waited, we were allowed to help ourselves to drinks for free and then we started: the quirky caretaker Klaus aka Sascha picked us up in the foyer and led us straight into the ghostly basement rooms. I have to say: I have rarely experienced something so great!!! The rooms were spectacularly decorated and the attention to detail was phenomenal. The story was exciting from start to finish. Everyone got their money's worth. The puzzles were easy to solve but still tricky. If you got stuck, you could get some help via radio. The hour flew by - fun and amazement from start to finish. We completely immersed ourselves in the story and experienced this escape room very intensively. At the end, photos were taken in this great setting, which we received by email 15 minutes later - at no additional cost, of course! Yes, at 190 euros for 5 people it is certainly one of the more expensive options, but for us it is absolutely worth it. It was definitely worth every penny. Many thanks to the great team - you're doing a really great job! We will be back definitely :)

We played Ghost Hunt with Brandon Darkmoor as a pair. An exciting story from the start. One more person would have been optimal. When we are back in Berlin we will take the other rooms with us.

I did Go West, Beast of Berlin and Lost Treasure. Each was more spectacular than the last, and each was better than any other escape room I’ve done anywhere else in the world— and I’ve done many. Staff is unbelievably nice, engaging, accommodating, and it generally was an amazing experience each time.

We played Go West. The first room was super interesting. But after that things went downhill. The air became stuffy after the first room and we felt dizzy. Afterwards we just wanted to get out because we just didn't have enough air. But otherwise the room was really nicely decorated to match the theme. I think if we hadn't gotten dizzy I would have given it 5 stars.

We played all the rooms at The Room today, the rooms were all impressive and exciting in their own way. The game leaders were super friendly and responded very well to our needs. It was a lot of fun, the rooms are definitely some of my favorite rooms.

Simply brilliant, especially the team's acting performance makes you immediately immerse yourself in the game. We (5 girls) played 2 games at the weekend and are thrilled. The best escape games we have played so far. Big thanks to our super friendly game leader, who really made us scream. 😉

The three of us played the “Go-West” room and were very impressed. There was a lot of attention to detail and creativity in both the room design and the puzzles themselves. You really felt like you were transported back in time. It was all around the best escape room we have been to so far. We will definitely come back for the other rooms!

  • 5/5 Jette 1 month ago on Google • 5 reviews New
Incredibly good, detailed, tricky rooms. It feels like you're on a film set, you're immersed in a completely different world - especially when there are acting interludes here and there! Greetings go out to Marvin ✌🏻😄 We liked it so much that we spontaneously did 3 rooms in a row, now unfortunately we've finished them all 🥲 absolute recommendation! No comparison to other providers in Berlin.

Highly recommended! Stayed in the room "The lost Treasure" - 2 adults and a child (10). Elaborately and originally designed rooms, good ideas, not too scary, timely tips from outside so that time doesn't get derailed :-). We had a lot of fun!

  • 5/5 Marco L. 2 years ago on Google
We went there with our kids to do the "Go West" escape room and it was really well done. The puzzle design was very varied, the atmosphere felt authentic, the "historical artifacts" fitted nicely and a friendly staff was on site. And they actually bothered to check the COVID-19 requirements properly which I appreciated as the whole affair happens in close quarters.

Incredibel experience! Well made, intelligent and highly creative escape room. Well worth the detour.

  • 5/5 Per-Victor P. 2 years ago on Google
We've done both The Lost Treasure and Ghosthunter, and both were amazingly well executed. The environment and props were the best I've experienced, the puzzles are varied and clever and the acting adds a bit of fun spice to the mix. Would really recommend for anyone into escape rooms in Berlin.

The best escape room makers in Berlin! Every experience is absolutely unique and awesome. Made with so much finesse, love and details. The riddles make sense and the staff is great.

  • 4/5 Anne K. 2 years ago on Google
The game was a bit pricey compared to other escape rooms on Berlin but id say worth it. My friends and I did the go west game and the team really gave their best to give proper props and clues to help us through the challenge. I would recommend this escape

My experience with The Room was very good. It was the first time that I had done an escape room, so I really didn't know what to expect. I went for The Lost Treasure that have you fill the boots of an archeologist that need to find a lost treasure. The experience was really good, and the game master was good with giving us hints when we were stuck for too long. The "mini-games" were very nicely done, and the props were very good. The flashlight that purposely went out in some areas to create suspence was a nice touch. We were supposed to go in 3 people (with someone that had done escape rooms before and that we had met on Facebook). Unfortunately this person that I had already paid for just decided to not show up, so we ended up being only 2 people compared to 3 that we had programmed. I told one of the staff members of The Room about the situation and less than 10 minutes later they had already given me a refund for the third person that was not there with us; this shows loyalty to the customers and earns them 5 stars without a doubt. I did a lot of research on different escape rooms in Berlin, as I wanted the best first experience that I could get; and The Room surely delivered on this! Thank you guys for a great experience. I can warmly reccomend these guys to anyone visiting (or living) in Berlin!

The best escape room in Berlin! We booked 'Go West'. It had so many details and it was so realistic! We really felt like we traveled in time to DDR. The riddles were very cool and well-designed. Stuff is very friendly. Just an amazing experience. We'll come back to see more rooms for sure!

  • 5/5 Kathryn C. 9 months ago on Google
We went with a big group and half of us did Go West and the other half did Brandon Darkmoor, I was part of the latter group. We all had a blast and I was blown away at the theatrics of the Brandon Darkmoor room, the experience was so well thought out and so many details accounted for. The Brandon Darkmoor one is less puzzle-based which most of my group enjoyed; I’m also looking forward to going back and trying more of the puzzle-heavy rooms :)

We have done escape rooms now in 6 countries and this place made it into our top 3 experiences. Linear, yet challenging and super awesome escape room design!

  • 5/5 Erik 1 year ago on Google
We did Beast of Berlin with 2 players: It's an old school escape room with lots of key and number locks. But it's a very good one at that. The decor is great and full of nice little details. The puzzles felt logical and as always the only thing that slightly hampered us was ofcourse something very obvious 😉 The staff was very friendly and I'll be sure to try one ot their other rooms when I'm back in Berlin.

  • 5/5 Matthijs 1 year ago on Google
We played Go West and Brandon Darkmoor. Both great games. If you like roleplay then Brandon Darkmoor is more for you, puzzles could be more challenging, but it's a great place and the people are friendly.

First time I went there, I tought it was a bit expensive for an escape fame BUT that after doing the room "Treasure" I can definitly say it was worth it. The decorations, the mechanism, the puzzle, the story and the staff make it that exiting moment. Knowing that there were only 4 rooms I took my time to do it knowing that I could not redo it anymore. As I said the staff are lovely and the one I met you can tell how passionate they are about their room. When I ask how they manage to create such mechanism thry were super excited to explain to me and are super inventiv. =Security= Security wise also, if you are scared that you will be locked or so one they are really serious about it. There is always a way to stop everyhting if you feel that you need to get out. =Parking= There is not a specific parking in front oglf the place BUT it's pretty easy to find a parking place around the building I did other escape room and it will always be my favourite one. 2 days ago was the last room (Ghost) and now only wish that one day they will recreate a new one even if I know it would take so many months to creates room like theses (with allt he mechanism) Thank you again THE ROOM Team for this amazing adventure and I really hope that you will have a lot of escaper coming to your place!

So good!! So fun!! We did the escapreoom The Lost Treasure and had so much fun. The room is so well made and the puzzles are so much fun! We had some good conversations with the employees of The Room and we where very enthusiastic to do another room. On recommendation by a staff member we did Brendon Darkmore a few days later. And wow!! If you like story driven games this is the room for you. Really immersive and so well made. We had a lot of fun beeing researchers and ghost hunters.

This is how escape rooms should be. Played the Geisterjager this time and the Lost Treasure and Beast of Berlin a few years ago. Absolutely great!

This place is propably the closest to the "escape room fantasy" you always wanted. Every puzzle felt earned and creative. The atmosphere and the props felt just right. Difficulty was also perfect. As someone with little experience and high expectancies this was about everything i hoped for and would highly recommend to come with your family and or friends.

  • 4/5 Familie V. 3 weeks ago on Google • 2 reviews New
We played The Lost Treasure as a family of four and really enjoyed the introduction and atmosphere of the game. The puzzles are also great and varied. We have already played a few escape games and were therefore a little disappointed that the game master often intervened to speed up the pace of the game. So we had the feeling that we hadn't solved the puzzles on our own, even though we could have done it very well. Maybe it would make sense to increase the playing time to 90 minutes (that would also be appropriate for the price) and to have less interference in order to be able to fully enjoy the atmosphere and puzzles. Unfortunately, we found it sobering to ring in the end with construction site lights - you're standing in a backdrop after all. It's a shame, we missed the round finish here. All in all a great room. Even better and successful in everything we found The Golden Phoenix in the Miraculum.
