Wow! What an amazing experience I just had with my family. My 87 year old grandfather is visiting me and is not very mobile, so I figured this would be a great way to see Berlin and it is! Jens is an amazing guide with so much knowledge of the city. Not just the history, but architecture, culture, everything! Can only recommend. We all had a great time and would love to do it again and see more. Thank you, Jens! We’ll be back!

I was very lucky to find this private bus tour whilst trawling through ‘tours in Berlin’ online. Within minutes of emailing Jens, we had organised our tour with a pick up and drop off at our hotel. It was fantastic. Jens was warm, friendly and very concise with his knowledge of Berlin. We did 2.5 hours driving ( 3hrs if including initial intro) and it flew by. He will personalise your tour to your group if you wish but we just wanted a general oversee. With very reasonable rates it was a great introduction to the city. Thank You Jens.

A relax and fun way to explore the city. My family and I Took the 2.5 hour tour with Jens and his classic head turning 1978 camper. Had a great time, Jens was so friendly fun and full of knowledge of the sites, the trip was relaxing, comfortable, defiantly the best way to see the city. Would recommend to all.

Very good way to get to know the city.

Jens is someone who has lived the Berlin experience as a young musician and so the story is a very personal journey he takes you through. Very memorable and entertaining while at the same time being historical. On the day of our tour the VW bus wasn't working so he took us around in his old mercedes taxi. Not a problem and no doubt equally enjoyable.

Fun tour, and Jens is an amazing guide. I booked for friends visiting Berlin. Jens gave a very helpful and engaging background on the city that helps piece together Berlin's complex history. He tailored the tour based on what we were already familiar with and based on our timing. And even though I've lived here over a year and visited many times before moving, I also learned new things from Jens. Highly recommend!

An absolutely great tour with a beautiful VW Bulli with space for 6 people. The trip was very informative and entertaining. Jens, the driver took us to places we wouldn't have discovered and was very friendly. The tour lasted 3 hours and can be booked individually. A small special feature is the panoramic roof, which creates a slight convertible feeling in good weather. Especially highly recommended if you are a little lazy about running.

The Magic Bus tour from Jens and his VW bus is simply brilliant ! He is such a nice guy and also very knowledgable and passionate about Berlin’s history. He picked us up from right outside our Airbnb did a brief talk about the early history and layout of Berlin then did a tailored tour to include the Hansa music studio, that he knows very well, where we got out and had a coffee and snack then went to look inside. We also visited so many other interesting places and sights and Jens explained them all really clearly. The magic bus is really cool and comfortable for 6 passengers and so quirky and original that the tourists, locals and other drivers take a second glance, wave and clap even 😂. All the arrangements with Jens were very easy and the price was very fair even when we went slightly over our planned timing. Highly recommended - you will not be disappointed !

Jens is a very friendly guy who knows a lot about the city and history. With is beautiful VW van he drives you through the city of Berlin. He speaks good English and takes the time to explain things. If you want to see the highlights of Berlin then take this tour.

This is the best city tour we have ever done! Jens is fantastic, he picked us up from the restaurant we were at, gave us a very informative history of Berin with pictures and maps. We then drove around the city and learned more history and fun facts about all the historical buildings. This is a must do tour if you are visiting Berlin :)

Great tour. We went on August 3rd 2022 and had such a nice time. Comfortable and very informative! Jens gives a lovely tour and is a great host. Our boys (17 and 19) also had an amazing time. I would highly recommend this if you want a tailored, private tour!

Great 2.5 hour drive through Berlin with Jens and his T2 built in 1978. Before departure there was interesting information about the history of Berlin, then on the way there were lots of sights and first-hand comments from Jens, who grew up in Berlin. Absolutely recommended and no comparison to an impersonal hop-on-off bus tour! We also drove longer and answered every question competently, thank you very much!

What a great day we had today in Potsdam! Jens, our tour guide, customized our day to what we wanted to see and then added in his flair and knowledge of the history and local customs. He picked us up at our hotel, drove us in his “magic bus” to the castles that we wanted to tour, and was able to safely deliver us to our requested end point right on time👍🏼

This is a fantastic and highly personalised way to see Berlin - a great guide with tons of knowledge to share and happy to adapt the tour to your interests and conditions. And a comfy ride in a 1970s restored Volkswagen is much more interesting and pertinent to German culture than a jump on jump off bus catering to the masses. Excellent value and highly recommended.

Jens was great! We asked him to show us parts of Berlin that are not traditional tourist traps and he delivered. The two of us asked lots of questions about the DDR and life after reunification and he gave us a lot of insight and shared his experiences in the music industry (we have a similar background). You should definitely consider booking his tour. He is an independent businessman and can customize a tour for whatever best suits your interests.

We contacted Jens and he was able to fit us in the very next day. My dad struggles a lot with his mobility but Jens came right to the hotel. All four of us are very tall and we still fit very comfortably in the cool vintage VW bus. The tour itself was thorough and very interesting. Jens gave great explanations complete with various visual aids. He was very helpful and very humorous. Highly recommend this tour.

Brilliant! Jens, our tour guide is a veritable font of knowledge , with regard to both historical and contemporary Berlin. He was able to tailor our tour to our busy schedule. We definitely got our money 's worth , oh and the bus really is magic, with the panoramic roof and air cooled soundtrack. Better by far than a regular tour bus.
