Awesome visit with birchys in Berlin, the weekend was super and both tours were the top 2 we took in europe. The history tour with aaron was fascinating and the beer tour with paul made our weekend!!

Just back from a weekend in Berlin with my partner. I was recommended this tour by a friend. What a good pick, it was a fantastic tour with a mix of both mainstream and off the beat sites. The local knowledge and recommendations made were just right. Refreshing attitude and genuine passion for what they were doing. Would happily do this again if i went back with friends.

Myself, my partner and my parents went on a tour of Berlin with Aaron and his tour firm - Birchys. This was a wonderful tour that took in all of the main sites to see in Berlin and so much more that we would have missed, had we visited the sites ourselves. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone, as Aaron's knowledge was amazing.

Erick was amazing, very knowledgeable and has a nice British accent. He will customize the tour your likes. It's a walking tour so be prepared, we took the 6 hour tour which was enough time to see most highlights and some miner ones. We stopped at a local beer garden and was not counted towards our time. It was our pleasure to treat Erick to a local beer, we had a nice chat as we relaxed. I will definitely suggest anyone going to Berlin to give Erick a call

Great Tour of Berlin. We took 2 tours with this company and had 2 amazing guides. The sachsenhausen Tour was extremly powerfull and so well done. And the all day Berlin History Highlights tour was truly one of the funniest things we did on our vacation. Thank you so much Birchys we will recommend you to everyone!

Booked online and took the tour to Sachenhausen with our fantastic tour guide Paul who met us outside the designated meeting point, which was easy to find. A short train ride and walk to the camp, but our guide kept us informed of the history of the camp throughout the journey.. The whole experience was fantastic, and extremely great value for money too. Our guide was really engaging, informative and made our day complete.....we will definalty be booking Birchy Tours for our next visit to Berlin ... Paul was the best tour guide for the Sachsenhausen tour. He added a ton of knowledge and information that I simply wouldn't have received without his guided tour.

Hands down, best tour guide in Berlin! Beyond well educated, beyond courteous, and an absolute crack up! Aaron blew the doors off the tour, I walked away a better person for having the opportunity to soak in some of the knowledge he shared. I wanted to take another tour immediately after. You won’t be able to not be engaged, because the pure passion he has for the history of the city (and many other topics) will keep you enthralled. And best of all, his laminated pictures and maps. Book with this company, you won’t regret it.

We had an outstanding tour with Paul, at the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp (Feb 2022). Super well informed, extremely personable and open to questions, of course. Would highly recommend. I also found booking with them very personal - we had loads of emails back and forth because I was organizing for a large group of school parents - very responsive!

I joined the tour to Sachsenhausen today with Beth as our tour guide. Beth is very nice and knowledgable about the history and the whole tour was very informative. It was definitely much better than visiting the place yourself with an audio guide. I have thoroughly enjoyed the tour today and would recommend it to anyone who is considering visiting the camps and wants to know more about the history.

We did the full day walking tour with Julian. It is far and away the most informative and comprehensive tour we have ever had. He is spectacular, and we cannot recommend him highly enough. Thank you for a great experience.

We did two days of tours. one around Berlin and the second day to a concentration camp. Paul was our guide and was absolutely the best!! He has a masters in History and was extremely informative. Would definitely use him again if we return to Berlin.

Steve is the by far best tour guide I ever have had! He gave us the complete history of Berlin, always with a joke at hand, and took us to all the intersting places.

Absolutely Brilliant! This was our first time in Berlin and booked The Explore The Berlin Wall: Cold War Berlin and Behind The Berlin Wall Tour. It was delivered with such a depth of knowledge and enthusiasm. The human stories behind the Cold War in Berlin were fastinating and moving. I cannot recommend our guide (see attached photo!) and this tour too highly.

Out tour guide was extremely well versed in the Berlin History. He was able to answer all of our questions with great details. Julian was prepared and delivered a detailed presentation. Highly recommend the Cold War walking tour with Steve. Very informative and engaging guide. My 15 year old son really got a lot out of the tour and was never bored. Not an easy feat! I had been to Berlin many times since 1981. I learned a lot today. Steve was excellent in providing the bigger picture, and interesting details. Our Sachsenhausen tour was led by Rebecca who was extremely knowledgeable and did an amazing job. This was the best tour we had over our month long trip around Europe.

Our tour guide was Arthur and he made our time very enjoyable. He was fun to have conversation with and was very knowledgeable about the history of Germany and Berlin. Very worthwhile experience especially for history buffs.

my Husband and Son had a wonderful time on the tour only 2 of them , my son is taking GSE history THIS YEAR he WAS SUPPOSED TO GO ON A SCHOOL TRIP but got cancelled so they went anyway ww2 german history is a topic so the tour has helped him alot and has given him a better understanding of what went on.

Steve took my wife, teenage daughter and myself on a very fascinating tour of Berlin. I already thought I knew a thing or two but Steve was able to add so much more in-depth knowledge and moreover feeling to all places that we visited. Meanwhile also keeping a thirteen year old interested for almost seven hours is a magnificent job. Well done Birchy’s and especially Steve Gibson!

A group of four visitors, we recently booked two tours - the 6-hour Berlin in a day history and highlights tour, and the Behind the Berlin Wall/Cold War bike tour. Aaron also provided guidance for the rest of our four-day visit. Aaron was incredibly helpful, and our guide Ryan, who was with us for both tours, was wonderfully knowledgeable. In addition to providing WW2 and Cold War context, he also provided excellent insight into present day Berlin. Highly recommend Birchys!

We did the private walking tour of Sachsenhausen concentration camp. We were lead by Steve and wow did he know his stuff! This is hands down one of the best tours of our trip! Steve was so passionate and knew so much information about the camp and also Berlin in general. We had a group of 7 of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Francisco was our fantastic guide for the 6.5 hour private tour. We had a great time learning about the main historic landmarks in Berlin. Francisco was really knowledgeable, enthusiastic and funny. The picture is of one of the alleyways he left us to explore at the end of the tour - "a city within a city". Strongly recommended!

Best tour we took in Europe. Amazing Berlin Wall and divded Berlin Tour Review of Explore The Berlin Wall: Cold War Berlin and Behind the Berlin Wall This was one of the most informative and engaging tours that I went on in Europe. Aprt from visiting various areas of the Berlin Wall we also visited places in both east and west Berlin. The way that it was set up really gave us a feeling of how the city was divided. By the end of the tour we were able to recoginze things and diffrences around Berlin that made the rest of our trip even more interesting. I do not think you would be able to find a more knowledgable or passionate guide than Aaron. Thanks so much to you and we highly recommend this tour to everyone visiting Berlin.
