The
Starbuck's
here
in
southeast
Niles
is
the
worst
I've
ever
been
to
anywhere.
Counter
service
is
consistently
lacking,
as
the
driveup
gets
priority.
This
week,
I
took
my
frail
90
year
old
mother
there
for
a
lite
lunch.
She
had
to
sit
on
a
hard
chair
at
a
very
small
cafe
table
because
the
handicap
table
was
arrayed
with
SB
training
materials
(see
photo
of
table),
and
the
lounge
chairs
were
taken
up
with
SB
employees
on
break.
One
employee
was
extremely
rude
(see
photo
-
persons
on
left),
lounging
in
one
of
the
comfy
chairs
with
his
feet
up
on
the
table
that
customers
eat
off
of.
He
gave
a
lot
of
lip
when
I
suggested
his
actions
and
manners
were
a
bad
reflection
on
Starbucks.
Overhead,
dance
music
coursed
through
the
speakers.
The
acting
manager
was
apologetic
(as
always),
but
I
won't
be
back.
I've
had
similar
issues
with
this
location
before.
There
are
much
better
SB's
east
a
few
miles
on
Touhy
Ave
(Skokie)
and
west
in
Park
Ridge
if
I'm
going
to
pay
their
ever-growing
prices!
