I had a great private surf instruction session with Asith today. Even though the waves were choppy and coming in at a high frequency he was able to select the appropriate waves to get me up countless times! His language skills were quite advanced and a huge contrast to my last instructor in Aragum Bay! He did a great job to assess what level I was at and tweak the areas that needed help. He really listened to the things I wanted from the lesson and adjusted perfectly. In the process he gave me a couple of nuggets that were game changers for my progress. Until this session I was actually considering giving up surfing after a few unsuccessful days! To top it all off we had great conversations about life in general on the way to and from the beach. He is very insightful, open and well grounded. Highly recommend!

I spent an incredible week surfing with Rio along the southern Sri Lankan coast, and I can't rave enough about the progress I made in just seven days! Very good surf coach. Knows the spots and it’s fun to surf with him. Always takes care of you so you feel comfortable in the water and has good advice for improvement. Will be back 🤙🏻
