(Translated by Google) A great exhibition about Friedrich Ebert's youth and his career in the SPD. The exhibits provide important political information for young people to preserve the rights of democracy. (Translated by Google) During our city tour we visited the house of Reich President Friedrich Ebert. Interesting how narrow and small the apartment is. Surprisingly good. A really in-depth view of Ebert's life, his entry into the SPD, how he grew there and how the SPD grew in Germany, and the history of the Weimar Republic – and it's free! Would definitely recommend for those interested in History. The only downside is that everything is in German, but apparently there are audioguides in other languages.

An excellent free museum; signs in German but with English audio available. An excellent showcase of an overlooked period of history and an important figure in the creation of a modern German democracy.

There is huge story and history in this house. The life and the way which a leader lived. It was quite exciting to be in this small house with historic accessories, clothes, tailor machine, kitchen and photos fron that time. I learned a lot about the life of Friedrich Ebert

I do recommend it very much and it is for free. If you are living in Germany as I am, I would say this is a must to know. This is a really really good museum and super important to better know the history of Germany in last about 100 years and how the country is politically organized now. Well organized and guided with quality contents. You can also visit a medium class house from the end of the 19 century, quite representative and shocking. Please, do not forget the audio-guide which is super helpful, particuarly for non German speakers. I left a tipp because I truly enjoy and like it.

President Friedrich Ebert (1871–1925) played a pivotal role in Germany's transition from monarchy to democracy after WWI. As the first President of the Weimar Republic, he navigated complex political challenges, championed workers' rights, and advocated for social reforms, leaving a lasting impact on the nation's post-war trajectory.
