Nice zoo with a large playground. Not the biggest zoo, but enough for a day with the family.

This is very probably the best Zoo I have ever been in. Very kids friendly. Don’t expect big and very exotic animals (except the tigers), but it’s beautifully designed

Really Great Place in Rheine to spend some Nice Time with your children. You may not only look at animals, but as well play with some (cute goats, for example), eat some ice-cream and snacks, spend some time at a Big Playground and breath at Saline (Salt Mine).

Good to spend time with familly.

Ein wirklich schöner Zoo. Die Tiere sind gepflegt, der Zoo selbst sehr naturbelassen, die meisten Gehege sind von mehreren Wegen zu sehen. Die Wege sind gut mit Kinderwagen zu befahren. Das tolle ist die Nähe zu den Tieren die man sehr selten in Zoos hat

Ein wirklich netter, kleiner Zoo. Sicherlich kann der Zoo nicht in Sachen Vielfalt bzw. Anzahl außergewöhnlicher Tiere mit dem nahegelegenen Konkurrenten in Münster und Osnabrück mithalten. Allerdings ist der Eintritt in Rheine auch halb so teuer. Der Zoo ist wirklich schön im Wald gelegen und kann daher auch gut an warmen Sommertagen besucht werden. Highlights im Zoo sind sicherlich die vielen begehbaren Gehege, wie z. B. der Affenwald, das Gehege der Pinguine und der Streichelzoo. Einziger Kritikpunkt sind m. M n. ein paar alte und doch sehr kleine Gehege wie z. B. bei den Kamelen und dem Bären. Ich denke aber, dass auch der Zoo Rheine mit der Zeit gehen wird und die Größe der Gehege dem Tierwohl anpassen wird.

Toller Zoo! Es ist sehr schön wie nah man den Tieren kommt und was für eine wunderschöne Außenanlagen sie haben. Affengehege zum betreten und Ziegen streicheln gehört dazu. Im Bistro erhält man eine Auswahl an Mittags-Menüs.Ein Spielplatz ist auch Vorhand . Preisleistung ist auch super!

Ein super schöner Zoo. Mit erschwinglichen Preisen und einem interessanten Tierbestand. Ich habe in meinem Leben vorher noch nie so viele Störche gesehen. Das meiste dort ist Barrierefrei. Es gibt auch eine Gastronomie mit verschiedenen Angeboten. Was für einen Zoo auch erschwinglich war. Es wurde für ausreichend Sitzmöglichkeiten gesorgt. Ich kann einen Besuch sehr empfehlen. Bringt viel Zeit mit, da es viel zu entdecken gibt.
