Bar only, Saturday night - we waited for 20+ minutes for drinks, didn’t receive a menu, were served dirty glasses that were exchanged without any excuse whatsoever. We ordered the same drink multiple times, much to our surprise every single one tasted differently. There were numerous people behind the bar at all times, so not really sure what caused the delay or lack of quality of our drinks. We have never experienced such disinterest from staff at Hyatt, very unfortunate.

Great combination of modernity, functionalities and style. Food is amazing, breakfast especially. Bathroom layout is a bit too much unconventional, but it works at the end. Climate control still analogical (downside)

I liked the room and the view from it a lot. Only thing I am not satisfied with is the service. Ordered room service couple of times but it was not done completely, the night menu order was not brought to the room at all without warning us. As well the reception administrators were not offering the best service, same thing at the breakfast. I could thank Bashir (the concierge) and two men from reception which were very welcoming, friendly and helpful, especially at checkout.

Badly Managed Hotel Refurbished the restaurant to the old 1900 style. The breakfast selections are very limited after the covid. Nothing like what is was. The executive lounge was refurbished and shrunk to allow 4 sofas which is for only a few people. The hotel tells Hyatt Elites to go sit in the halway with their food & drink and come pick up your food from a small counter inthe executive lounge. No thought was given that the lounge entrance is a heavy door, it does not open automatically and one must use their key. The door is heavy, must be pulled hard. Nice try getting your food & drink without spilling. What it is, is really a Degradation to Hyatt elite members and for those who are paying for lounge access. It is Very backward & not a courteous plan for elite members. Staff is not awake, alert or of real attention to the guests. It Needs a shakeup from top to bottom. The room was very outdated and worst of all not Clean. That indicates bad management of Hyatt Regency Dusseldorf. The staff at reception Goran, and other managers I dealt with are overwhelmed, slow and rude to us. Not busy, just overwhelmed with their job. Would not stay here again. Not worth paying the money for this place. Smoke & Mirrors.

Thank you for a wonderful Christmas Day brunch event. The food was excellent but the service was what really shone. Thank you to Marta for looking after our family today. My girls really loved it!

I recently travelled and stayed at the Hyatt Regency Dusseldorf. It is nice looking outside, sharp angles of glass on the waterfront. Although not convenient at all to downtown. EU 25+ taxi each way or tram where you must walk over 600 meters. What surprised me was the internal operation. It is not organised. And I found the hygiene in the room not acceptable as a good standard, ​dust and lots of dirt​ on tables and carpet. I did not find those at the ​reception accommodating or organised. That shouldn't be at the Regency level​ standards. The executive lounge was very strange. In a ​dark hallway from the front desk to the restaurant, on the left side is the Exec lounge, on the right a bar. They said you can eat anywhere you wish. Ok. However the exec lounge is locked needing a key to pass. Not easy with a drink and plate. The attendant, clearly frustrated, just used his entire body to push the two doors open in order to bring items in and out. That is very awkward. Ok if you get a seat in there, only 16 on low sofas. Fortunately someone left and I had a seat but not a pleasant time. Not planned or operated very well. I think Hyatt needs to take a look here, the room hygiene and the organisation needs to be monitored. I understand management is long term there, sometimes they may relax and let things fall. I wouldn't stay there again in this current condition.

Travelling as a family of 4 requested interconnecting rooms which were honoured. Had an issue with the air con in the connecting room at midnight. The air con is noisy, the panel for the air conditioning had broken and wouldn’t turn off. Preventing a member of our party from getting to sleep. Made a phone call to reception who sent an ‘engineer’ who also couldn’t turn the air con off. So moved two of our party to a different room which was two floors above. Next morning we reported issue again to reception who said they would turn the AC off during the day so when we came back to the rooms it would be sorted. However when returned 8 hours later the air con was still running and had not been. We decided we have to make do for the last night. Breakfast on the 2nd morning was exceptionally poor. Waited a long time to be seated, had to wait 10 mins for someone to take our coffee and cooked item order. Had to chase three times over a 40 min period, no plates, no juices, hot food was cold and overall one of the worst breakfasts we ever had in a hotel. Reported all issues to reception and said they were sorry. Would NOT return.

We attended the Christmas Day brunch event. It was absolutely gorgeous. The food was sublime and the service was exceptional. Thank you to Marta for the incredible treatment - especially of our children. We will return when we are in Düsseldorf. Wonderful.

Overall great place to stay. The restaurant and breakfast serve some of the best hotel foods I have had. Great views on the Rhine river. Excellent for early morning or after work walks. Close to embankment and old city. Plenty of cool restaurants around. Staff very courteous and helpful.

Great hotel with excellent service, delicious breakfast and phenomenal spa. Glad to have chosen Hyatt for a week long business trip.

Sick of hotels where turning off the lights is harder than quantum mechanics! I'm a frequent traveler and I visited the Hyatt for a work trip. When I went to bed, I couldn't sleep as one of the lights would not go off with any switch. Asked for help to the concierge and after almost 30 min, nothing. Bad room design added to bad service is costing me a precious night of sleep.

After the waiting experience in DUS airport, I thought couldn’t get much worse. Apart from the bar in the Hyatt. We went on a Friday at 19:30, a time which you would assume is pretty good for business for a bar. Neither the bar nor the waiting area was staffed, so we went to search for a member of staff to get our seat. Same process for the ordering. I would have imagined a place that charged 14 euro for glass of regular white wine would be better equipped to serve its customers. I give a bonus star for the nice view and vibe of the area.

Great hotel and location. You can still walk to the centre (30 mins). The staff is excellent. Thy at the front desk was very helpful and professional. The breakfast was also superb. The manager, Sandeep, is great too. Overall a great experience. I recommend the rooms with the view on the city.

The service of the staff was as expected, warm and professional. The decision to move the lounge to the ground floor is somewhat of a disappointment.

Stayed at the hyatt a number of times . Well managed , my large suite was fantastic also to get some work done. Excellent breakfast . A pool is missing but the jacuzzi and sauna made up for it. A popular photo place for those that want to be seen - loved the terrace on sundown .

Perfect location but strange room lay out. We had a room on club floor 17 entering straight into the bathroom…very uncomfortable feeling. Beds super comfortable Wi-Fi partially manageable. Wonderful international breakfast buffet option. Josie at the reception was one of the most friendly and professional front of house staff members I have had the joy of checking me in. 5 star Josie.

One of the better Hyatt Regency Ive stayed at. Got a suite upgrade with my Globalist status. The suite was spacious and with a fantastic view. I was tired after a longer drive from France so ordered room service. Food was delivered in 25 min and the Club Sandwich tasted really good. The Club was on the ground floor behind the restaurant which was a temporary solution as I understand it (normally its located on the 18th floor). My car was conveniently parked in the garage under the hotel. I recommend this hotel.

Views are great from the room and lounge on 18th level. Good Food however options for Vegetarians are limited. The Chef during breakfast was very kind enough to make special greens ! Rooms are big compared to other hotels in Dussedorf...

This hotel is a very nice place to stay when you are in Düsseldorf and is a pleasant 20 walk along the river to the lively area of the city where pubs and restaurants attract many people. It is a bit pricey but it is worth it with clean and comfortable rooms and service which is second to none.

Dated luxury style for a high price, most 4 star hotels in dusseldorf have more interesting rooms. When booking a 5 star hotel you usually expect something special this was ordinary ok stay, nothing bad, nothing great.
