Sovereign shopping centre is occupied by many businesses like, pound land, sports Direct, Wilko, Lidl and many more, there are couple of beauty store to setup your eyebrows and all, there is a huge car parking in this center and a bus station is right near the second exit (peacock store), toilet are on the same floor on opposite ends. All the shops get close by 18:00 but Lidl is open until 20:00.

It's a mall. The car park is handy for the Vitality Stadium.

Plenty of store to choose from, from charity shops, coffee shops, sportswear stores, specialty store, discount stores, supermarket, pharmacy, stationary store, fragrance for men and women, car accessories store and a lot more. Reasonable price for parking as well.

A good selection of your mainstream shops. A lot of construction works going on around the site obviously for improvement at the moment. One down side, for me, was there didn't appear to be any seating areas outside, so after spending time in several shops it would have just been nice to sit on a bench before continuing visiting other retail outlets. Otherwise well worth a visit for your main large retailers.

Absolutely hideous. Stalked by strange Bruegel flavoured grotesques who seem to find the spectacle of a man eating peanuts mystifying. When you couple the denizens with the hopeless feel and poor selection of stores a foul impression is created. One of the worst malls I have ever visited. Awful.

The usual selection of shops etc. Nothing much to see here. We found a garden café but the garden part was closed, the toilet facilities were away down a hallway. The coffee was OK but it's saving point was employing some very pretty girls.

When you have Castlepoint with free shopping and bigger stores then you need to do more to attract customers. I was visiting for the day and went to both sites. Sovereign you pay money to park to see empty shops. Areas that are unclean and not very nice.

I must admit visits to the Sovereign Centre are now few having moved out the area, but there is a range of shops and stalls, as well as toilets and a cafe. I can't believe this might be the last visit to Wilko, a shop that has served me well on many occasions.

Not been in years, came back as was in the area and it was ok. Has your usual smaller shops like cex, the works etc also had an interesting 2nd hand jewellery shop.

Accessible and clean. Disabled toilet facility also clean and easy enough to use although the hand dryer is quite high for a wheelchair user to comfortably use.

Nice place for window shopping. You have sports direct, LIDL and other stores where you can choose and buy many things required for household products and clothing. One stop shopping complex to a family

Excellent shopping centre. There are a few empty units but very much worth a visit. Plenty of the big names and the smaller ones are very interesting. Give it a go.

This is a lovely place for shops in Boscombe. However, many businesses have moved out and have not been replaced, the biggest being Wilkos. This has made room for smaller businesses and charities to take these spaces. This is good in many ways. I hope it helps to keep the centre utilised.

We like this shopping centre overall. Easy access from the carpark (reasonably priced), working lifts, a general clean and welcoming feel. Plenty of shops including Lidl, Wilko, the Works, Holland and Barrett plus some interesting independent retailers (a great rug shop with colourful pottery, bowls etc and good prices.... perfect for gifts). BUT beware the candy island (pictured). Put the money in, turn the handle and get hardly any candy! My daughter (5) of course likes the look of it. I finally said she could choose one and have some. She, and I, were SO disappointed with the measly portion. Plus they (jelly beans) were a bit hard. It's not manned, so no chance of asking for your money back. Should have spent the money in one of the many shops.

One of the best things about shopping malls was knowing a Wilco would be nearby, I've never walked out empty handed ever. It's always had something I've needed but this could be it's swansong and that would be tragic. I'm as guilty as anyone else with the lure of online shopping lurking at the touch of a button but I still love physical shopping, being able to properly assess an item in front of me and not try to decide from 12 pictures and a promise it's not a fake on eBay. Like Woolworths I will miss it when it's gone. Excellent shop full of a little bit of everything. Salute

Awful place, people asleep in the car park floor. Drunk people shouting and swearing and people taking drugs in the toilet. Did not feel safe at all.

  • 3/5 claudette j. 9 months ago on Google
Rundown not looked after. It is sad to see it this way. It needs some love and care and marketing strategy. People who live or visit Boscombe deserve better

  • 5/5 Felipe B. 11 months ago on Google
This place is cool, has like a backrooms or liminal space vibe. Besides that lots of useful shops like Lidl, Saver, Boots, CEX, etc. and a cool little community centre that runs different events for everyday of the week

  • 3/5 MechEng D. 7 months ago on Google
Wasn't particularly engaging. I do feel bad for the independent traders there, many doing their best, but many empty shop fronts, a bit of a grimy, has-been atmosphere and a seeming lack of any visible security staff aren't helping matters.

There are so many shops in that , like Lidl, Poundland , savers , Holland , boots , I think there is no need to go town centre if you have so much shops there

  • 3/5 Philip O. 1 year ago on Google
Like too many shopping centres this has a lot of long term empty units. Often high rent is the big issue with locations like boscombe. There is nothing much to bring people to the town as it's well known for trouble. And the whole town could do with a coat of paint.

  • 5/5 Desmond K. 1 year ago on Google
A collection of useful shops, Wilco, Poundland, F Hinds jeweler and watches, Lidl, The Works, a card shop. Can be accessed through the Royal Arcade.

Fantastic Shopping Centre, Great range of shops and great to see a Shopmobility Scheme at Lifestyle & Mobility. Plenty of safe parking only £1.00 per hour

  • 5/5 CrazyColours 2. 2 years ago on Google
Yes! It's small but cute. Has a good variety for the small space. Two gaming shops which I love, a Lidl, a Poundland and a savers among more.

  • 3/5 LunarPurin 2 years ago on Google
It's okay as far as shopping centres go, it felt very empty but there was some stuff there for sure, just nothing that really appealed to me. I'm sure it would've been more lively though if I hadn't been there on a Sunday afternoon.

First time shopping in Boscombe and it was nice, good selection of shops that we don't have in my local area, plenty of places to get something to eat or drink, definitely coming back to do some Christmas shopping

  • 3/5 Brenda R. 2 years ago on Google
OK hav'nt been there in a while, shame to see so many empty shops. But the shop I was looking for is still there, poped in for a new hose for the vacuum cleaner, and the man who runs it made one up for me all in under the hour, well impressed.

Lots of shops under one roof some small businesses and other mainstream outlets not very busy either. Managed to get everything I needed including a new car key and with parking being very reasonable £1 for two hours they even have a car wash facility in the car park where you an have your car washed and cleaned while you do your shopping it this is an extra expense depending on size of car and services you require. Have been back today 12th Feb 22 bought some silicone sealant in Poundland for £2.00 very reasonable especially when you consider i was in a builders merchants yesterday and their own brand one was nearly £8.00 inc vat so a saving of almost £6.00 which helped when i had to cough up £32.00 to get some shoes re heeled and soled.

As shopping centres go it’s not very interesting. I sometimes go for running into wilkos which usually has none of the items I am after.

  • 5/5 Maggie P. 2 years ago on Google

Like Mos Eisley without a dentist's. You can discover things you never wanted and see things you could never believe. Even COVID is too afraid to venture here.

  • 3/5 Pete C. 1 year ago on Google
As Boscombe has more closed shops and people on the edge, so has the Sovereign Centre gone the same way... It's okay, but I remember it from the not too distant past when it was a very popular destination for all (like Boscombe itself). Hope it gets back there soon because (like Boscombe) it has a few things going for it that are really great and special.

  • 5/5 hAzey G. 2 years ago on Google
It's a shopping centre. It's alright. Not quite as sad as its surroundings and a good range of shops. Decent parking and a cheap car wash whilst you shop. Not much more I could ask for really.

  • 5/5 Sarah G. 1 year ago on Google
Was born there, and still love it but my friends disagree lol. Better than Bournemouth

  • 3/5 Mike L. 1 year ago on Google
Past it's prime!! BUT Still has LIDL, Wilko, Savers Chemist, and Boots!! There are a few vacant stores. However the centre connects with Boscombe High Street with many other stores and Cafés!! Large (enough) multistorey Car Park at the time of posting: £1 for up to One Hour £1.50 up to 2 hours. Options for longer parking. NOT recommended for Long Term Parking!! Partly Closed outside shopping hours!!! Good vehicle access from the road system. WARNING : MAX 2.2 metre clearance!! NO Vans or tall cars / large Top Boxes!! There ARE other Car Parks close by if you have a taller vehicle!!
