imaginary! I liked the architectural design and the coordination of the center . It will make the shopping experience very enjoyable. Hats off to the architect because he made the best use of the elements of Islamic and Andalusian architecture in the mall.

I haven't been back to this beautiful mall for over a decade now. This place always amazed me with good changes in improvement and great restaurants for dining and hangout. The Christmas decorations and lighting are beautiful for scenic pictures. It is one of the best outdoor malls in the country.

First time here just a fantastic place to shop, relax and for the entire family to enjoy. So many things for kids to be entertained. A large screen where they can see themselves , a horse carousel ride, a large Ferris wheel, the kids can be enjoying these attraction while you shop or just relax , great tea and coffee shops . You may need a jacket at night , kind of cold . Great parking . Many bane brand stores . Kind of an outdoor mall . Closes at 10 pm

Irvine spectrum has something for everyone. Kids love it with the Ferris wheel and outdoor places. They were playing in the water ponds and having a blast. The shopping selections are very diverse with great brands and stores with all prices. The restaurants are wonderful with all of our favorite places at one place. The new Bristol Farms is a high end grocery store with an artisan food hall. The produce was fresh and beautifully merchandised to make it easy to see and choice the items you wanted. The prepared food is delicious from crab cakes to coleslaw. The bakery is delicious. There’s a lot of vegan and plant-based food too It’s overwhelming with their new version of a grocery store. Enjoy the experiences

A great place to shop, dine, and just spend time in. The Irvine Spectrum brings the extravagant shopping experience of the outside world right into the heart of Orange County. The Moroccan styled outdoor shopping mall is filled with shops and restaurants that fulfills any shopper based on their needs. There is also a huge movie theater, little play areas for kids, a water attraction with mist, and ample seating areas throughout just for lounging. Parking is crowded on weekends so just park in the parking structure. Other than that, Irvine Spectrum is the place to be!

This shopping center is decently large with quite an assortment of shops and restaurants to pick from. There are quite a few fountains and water features to admire, and there is also a ferris wheel that you can ride on. Parking is plentiful with multiple parking garages to pick from, and valet parking is offered as well.

One visit here and you’ll only want to go to outdoor malls going forward. Indoor malls 👎 outdoor malls 👍👍👏👏👏👏 Lots of stores. Restaurants. Clean public washrooms. Even Merry Go Rounds and Ferris Wheels for kids (and people of all ages). It’s fairly quiet here during the week but when the weekend hits, watch out!! 😂

We had an enjoyable day exploring this place. There was plenty of seating around and some even had great shading. There are a lot of stores. We could see for miles on the Giant Wheel (it is $5 per person and only goes around once). There was plenty of things to do (movie theater, coffee shops, restaurants and plenty of shopping). I'm not a big shopper, but enjoyed exploring for the day.

Irvine Spectrum is the ultimate outdoor shopping and dining experience. There are stores for every style, restaurants for every taste bud, and entertainment for everyone! I'm looking forward to the day when the movie theater and the comedy club opens up again! They also host fun events throughout the year like fashion week, ice rink, and Lunar New Year celebrations (just to name a few). The center is beautifully laid out with plants, fountains and little photo vignettes throughout the location. A couple of things to note: - you do need to wear a mask while there except when eating - the weekends are very crowded so I recommend going during the earlier part of the week - if going on a weekend, give yourself plenty of time to find parking Enjoy!!

An absolutely beautiful place, very park-like with lots of astroturf. I would have taken pictures of those areas of the mall but I didn't want to get anybody in the frame if it could be avoided. Plenty of places to sit (wicker chairs with pillows). If you haven't been here before, this place will definitely have you enchanted.

One of my favorite malls in So. Cal. Entertainment for all in one place. Shop till you drop, kids will have fun, great selection of restaurants, from high end to fast food, ice cream and candy stores, grab some popcorn and see a movie, or just stoll or sit around and enjoy life.

It's a nice shopping plaza for leisure. There are many shops where you can buy your favorite clothes and shoes, and there are many books in bookstores. It's a good place for people who like books. It's also very pleasant to sit by the fountain and have a cup of coffee and watch the crowds in the street. Single men can also go and have a look. There are many beautiful children, and you may find your Mr Right.

Beautiful place to hang out with friends, also suitable for families with kids where there is a playground for them, an eye wheel and few other attractions. There is a Lot of shops, restaurants and ice cream shops that will make your experience more pleasant. The shades and the water features add on the beauty and the charm of the place and make the heat more bearable in summer days!! Visiting again for sure

First time shopping at this center, lots of interesting stores, living in another state for so long it’s a big change from locations where I reside along with differences in Covid rules and pets, masks currently are not required and pet dogs I saw in almost every store I visited. Where restrictions are imposed in some states including mine for animals. The design makes it easy to wonder through the complex and shop, take a break or let’s the kids ride on rides on both ends of the complex. Areas were clean, store staff throughout friendly and helpful. Prices were reasonable.

  • 4/5 Miko A. 2 years ago on Google
Very big and open space. So many things to do and many shops to visit. It has a fun centralized chill zone with a big wheel that at the time I went was only $5 a person, for three cycles. Tons of parking options, and tons of things to do if you're in the area!

A great destination that is family friendly. This outdoor mall has plenty of attractions for children. There is a Ferris wheel here and a merry-go-round. There’s a turf area for children to play on. During the winter season it is transformed into an ice skating rink. There are also splash pads here for kids to run around in. Besides all the different attractions for kids, there are many nice stores and places to eat here. You can spend the whole day at Irvine Spectrum Center. I enjoy coming during the week because it’s less crowded.

Well this place is still amazing I visited in Aug 2013, and it was impressive then and now after years later it’s still great. The parking , the access, the stores (shopping) the food (great restaurants) the entertainment . Did I mention parking with very adequate walking space even when it’s crowded it’s free flowing. Okay guys you will definitely love this one !! Stop by Javier’s , there is a little wait but it’s worth it !

Nice outdoor place to walk around. There are plenty of restaurants, stores, dessert shops, and movie theaters. If you are a Hello Kitty fan, there is a Hello Kitty Cafe. There is plenty of free parking but did seem crowded even though it was a weekday. Valet parking is available. I have included their site; irvinespectrumcenter.com It has their summer activities for small kids😊. Great for friends and families.

Such an awesome spot to be at. Outdoor shopping, plenty of shops, plenty of outdoor seating. They got a fair wheel there too! It reminds me of ICON in Florida except half the size. Noticeable attraction there is the hello kitty Cafe. Had to wait on love for that lol. There's also a big grassy area for the kids to run around or relax. Definitely check out the spot

This is still a cool place to come and spend a few hours. Lots of restaurants, lots of shopping stores, and a movie theater! This place looks the nicest at night! And if you get on the Ferris Wheel, you’ll get a nice view of the Spectrum and it’s surrounding area! Parking gets insanely busy, but that’s to be expected, no matter if you are parking outside or in the parking structures, they all get really busy, especially at peak hours. We went around 5 pm on a Saturday, parking was already very limited and busy. Just be patient. They do offer valet parking too! Not sure how much. They have a carousel and a play area for the kids, a Ferris wheel, a Virtual reality Game Center, a movie theater, a davie & buster, etc. excellent for walking with a group of friends, or for a couple and even to fly solo!

This place is a vibe. They have so many stores that you can walk through and enjoy a shopping experience. Hungry? They have you covered with about 15 different spots to eat from intimate, casual, to just a sweet treat. Want a break and some where to relax and just chat? They have many unique spot to pull up a chair and enjoy a moment off your feet. Great find. They have a full functioning merry go round and ferris wheel.

First time to visit Irvine Spectrum Center and is pretty impressed by the design of while shopping complex which looks like a theme park. Shopping some stuff at Nordstrom which offer great service. Although not many luxury brands in the center, it's still a great place for family to spend half a day for shopping and dining.

Great selection of shopping and eating. Home of Hello Kitty, only two locations in the West. Lots of photo ops and beautiful backgrounds. Love spending the outdoors here. It makes shopping so much more enjoyable with the water fountains and misters.

A very nice shopping mall. Feels new and is esthetically pleasing, but man does it get busy on the weekend. We went on a Saturday evening and I have never seen a crowd that big. Would avoid at busy times and go early to avoid the crowds. Has plenty of overhangs to shade you from the warm sun, as well as plenty of seating areas, where you can sit and wait for your significant other.

The Irvine Spectrum Center is an outdoor shopping center developed by the Irvine Company, located in the Irvine Spectrum district on the southeast edge of Irvine, California, United States. The mall features Nordstrom and Target department stores, a ferris wheel, and an Edwards 21-screen movie theater. Built over a 10-year period, the first phase of the center opened in 1995 and the second phase followed in 1998. The third phase was completed in 2002. The fourth and fifth phases were built and completed between 2005 and 2006. The mall is used for establishing shots of the fictional "Mall of Miami" in the Disney Channel television series Austin and Ally. The Irvine Spectrum Center continued to expand a new wing on the south side of the center in 2020. The outdoor mall added large stores, restaurants, and cafes such as Sephora, Black Dot Cafe, Apple, and a new children's playground. This $200 million expansion has attracted new revenue for the mall. Design The unusual architecture of the property is based on the Alhambra in Granada, Spain, figuring most prominently in the center's second phase. A white obelisk, which at night features the word "SPECTRUM" vertically projected onto it, is located on the northern corner near the freeway. It contains a cell phone and television tower. Attractions In 2002, the Irvine Spectrum Center added a Ferris wheel called Giant Wheel. It is made by Westech Limited in Italy. Each open-air gondola can seat up to 6 people. It is located near Nordstrom. It has a carousel fabricated in San Francisco. Excerpt from Wikipedia

This mall is just amazing; it's a great place to go on the weekends or just anytime you want to walk around and relax. There are a great variety of shops both indoors and out; the nordstrom here has the best tasting food and service out of all the nordstroms I have been to. It's very well-maintained, and you can definitely see that this is an upscale mall.

We enjoyed walking through the shops. Each floor has a customer service that you could ask for a direction. They had a wide spacious aisle. Also, the food court was so big and spacious as well. They got a lot of food to choose from. One thing that I'm fascinated by this mall. They were very organized. You can't get lost in this mall.

I love coming here. This venue is large and outdoors. Additionally, it get pretty packed parking wise. There are plenty of places to park but they can get filled up. I have never come here when it is not busy. Its great for families with kids. There are plenty of things for kids to do. The stores and food are very modern. There is a diverse selection of restaurant and clothing boutiques. There is a movie theater, a bookstore, a novelty shop, a comedy, club, and so much more. If you have diet restrictions, this is the place for you. There are plenty of vegan and gluten free places to eat. This place is so fun.

Really Awesome!!! Another reason I really like The Irvine Spectrum is because there's SO many activities here. There's usually an ice rink and a spot where you can take photos with Santa in the winter. There's consistently live entertainment on the weekly. If you're feeling for a show there's the Irvine Improve where tons of stand up comedians come by, or you can hit up Edwards Cinemas for a motion picture. If you're feeling for some fun with kids, there's a Ferris wheel, carousel and the Luckey Climber playground area. You can also find Dave and Buster's here if you're wanting an arcade or Spaces where you can go on virtual reality adventures. All in all, visiting the Irvine Spectrum makes a good day for everyone from the ages 1-99!

A nice way to spend an afternoon. My family loves the restaurants and dessert places. There's plenty of shops to look for souvenirs if you're new to San Francisco and the sea lions are fun to watch when they're fighting over their spots. It can get crowded on a weekend, so be prepared if you're not into walking among crowds.
