Great views of both Osaka and Kobe, go with a local or hire a guide because it's a bit difficult to get there as the road is filled with curves.

Possibly one of the best views in Kansai. On a clear day it’s almost breathtaking. Shame the little shop has closed down.

A quaint rest spot along the route through Kobe's mountains. Excellent views from Kobe to Osaka and beyond. Best seen on a clear Spring or Autumn day. The tiny shop serves delicious soft serve ice cream.

I had not been there but it is a famous place and I think it is a wonderful observatory place but be careful for a cyclists because what I experienced is that bikes and bicycles are not allowed in the weekends because there are gates and it may cost money as well. But overall I think and I know it’s a great place!
