Super awesome place for kids to have fun and try different occupations. We went on a Wednesday English (morning session) and it was amazing as it was not crowded. For morning session, do reach before 8:30am to check in. We bought tickets online prior and it was easy to check in. The staff are amazing as they tried to make it understandable for my kids who don’t speak Japanese. Special shout out and compliments to one of the global staff member Joe who could speak English and Chinese and really helped us a lot to understand and navigate. Thank you Joe! The occupations/ experiences were great especially those unique in Japan like the Train conductor, Care support Center etc. Kidzania Japan don’t use the Kidzania passport but it’s easy to use the Job sheet card to sign up for the sessions. My kids could finish 9 jobs in the morning session and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Ample seatings and food counters that parents can enjoy and rest while waiting.

I think this amusement park is good for social education to children. They can be various kinds of workers through job experience. Children can be police officers, fire fighters, guard staffs, bank officer etc. There are a hundred jobs in the park.and after work, children can achieve salary in designated currency kidzo. They can buy various items with kidzo. Of course, they can store the salary in a bank designated in the park. This park is extremely polular. I recommend you to arrive here early time.

KidZania Koshien (キッザニア甲子園) is a captivating and immersive edutainment experience for children. Nestled in the heart of Koshien, this miniature city allows kids to explore various professions in a safe and engaging environment. The attention to detail in replicating real-world scenarios is commendable, fostering creativity and learning through play. The diverse range of activities, from role-playing to hands-on experiences, ensures that children have a dynamic and enriching visit. However, the overall experience could be enhanced by improving crowd management during peak times. Despite this, KidZania Koshien stands as an innovative and educational destination, offering a unique blend of entertainment and learning for young minds.

I feel it is a total ripped off, unlike the praises from the other reviews. I booked this 2 months in advance for a English day on Wednesday. But 90% of the staff still talks in Japanese. And all activities needs reservation! The system is totally dumb. If u reserve 2 activities for a time that is hours away, u can't do other activities till u clear off the things on the list. I'm here now at 11.27 am and have spent the past 40 minutes waiting doing nothing just because I made a reservation for the railway at 11.50am and the chocolate session at 2.10pm. No one guided us and this so-called English manual doesnt tell us we cant make more than 2 reservations either. A lady told me to quickly make a reservation for chocolate as we came in so I did it. Worst is, there are already 7 activities that doesn't accept any reservation for the entire day by now. Totally frustrated after spending so much for this long awaited experience. I rather spend my precious time elsewhere! I had a wonderful experience in the kidzania in Malaysia and expected the same here but twice the price, less than half the joy! Really an unpleasant experience. It's totally impossible to do more than 5 activities in a day at this speed.

A brilliant place for kids to have fun and learn at the same time. This is our second time here and our kids love it. They’re so keen to try out all the jobs and the fact that they get paid with Kidzania money is a great lesson in saving and being responsible with money. I wish they had a Kidzania in Australia!

A must-do experience with kids. Very organized with little to no wait for each experience. My 7 year old adores this place.

This is a great place to bring your children to get a first hand experience of real jobs with the many activities on hand. My only concern is that if you pick a day where it is extremely busy you may not get to do the activities you do so want as they have a sign up policy and the rules are inforced 100%. I was there with 6 boys and we only got to do 4 activities and we were there from 10:00 until 15:30. Still a great day.

Wonderful indoor city with functional vehicles, good staff, fun games. Kids do "jobs" and get paid in Kidzania cash. They can bank it, and withdraw from ATM. Go on a weekday to the 9am session to avoid crowds. Good English support.

Such a great unique place to take kids while on vacation in Japan and very reasonable given the amount of things to do. Kids can choose from over 70 'pavilions' which are activities themed around professions. The level of detail in these pavilions is incredible. For example - the police pavilion revolves around a story where the kids act as detectives to investigate a crime. There are custom produced videos integrated into the experience to guide the kids through the story (note: because of this, this pavilion is offered in Japanese only - but my kids were able to follow along regardless). Every pavilion also provides uniforms for the kids to wear for the experience - which makes for great photo opps. Wednesday is 'English day' where a subset of the pavilions are conducted in English (just look for the sign in front of the pavilion). One tip is to go to the pavilion you want to do the most as soon as you get there. Space fills up quickly - and while you can make a reservation to come back later - you can only have 1 reservation at a time so the optimal strategy is to go to pavilions with the shortest wait after your first activity. Think of this place as a series of kid-friendly classes that you book on the spot: its not like Disneyland where you're trying to do every ride in a day. My advice to the management of Kidzania is that an orientation video explaining how the reservation system works would be very helpful for first-time visitors. This was quite confusing and took us a couple hours to get used to - which detracted from an otherwise great experience.

Very crowded and most activity waiting time is long. Kids had fun though. Staff are friendly and nice

This was the worst kidzania experience we have visited.. 5 stars for friendly and helful staff but 0 stars for organization and its reservation system of the activities. During 5hrs visit we were glad to make 4 activities.. It closes mid afternoon for the second shift, you cannot plan ahead etc. I saw folks with reservation app but didnt work for me to create an account if you dont have japanese number or address.. Sounds like the business model is to limit visit of the activities to as least as possible so that you come again next time.. Wont visit again of course.. I suspect same goes for all three japan locations..

First time to Kidzania. Very Pack and no control of crowd. This is the most impolite place I experience with Japanese people (customer). Staffs are all polite though. No instruction on how to book. And by the time figure out, lot of occupation is full booked. At the end, the kids store closed at 3pm sharp. Worse experience of kids park. Especially if you are foreigners, either come at English Day or join their English program or don’t come at all.
