Admission is free. The parking lot was 100 yen for the first hour and 100 yen for the next 30 minutes, and although it was a weekday afternoon, it was about 70% full, probably because the weather was nice. As you enter the park, you will see a garden with beautiful flowers planted everywhere, and everyone can take a walk or relax on the lawn. There are many hikers, and it feels small compared to the width of Kozan Forest Park, but there are many places to see.If you go down the mountain path after going down the garden, you will see a pond and huge stones, and if you go up to the right on the way, you will see an observation deck. On the other hand, if you head up the mountain, you can go up from Kitayama Reservoir to Mt. Kosan, so you can easily enjoy hiking. Also, be sure to check out the Kitayama Sanso and the facility modeled after the Orchid Pavilion where the calligrapher Wang Xizhi held a melodious water banquet (partially under repair?), which is named after the Chinese city that has friendly relations with Nishinomiya City.

Botanical garden with free admission. Parking is also cheap and available by the hour. ¥100 for the first hour (as of April 2023) The plants are well taken care of. The ladies at the flower shop are all very kind. It's been about 10 years since I started coming here often. I look forward to the flowers of each season. I choose a day and time when the parking lot is not crowded, and I go there quite often. There are many types of cherry blossoms, and it is a little-known place where you can enjoy cherry blossoms in full bloom for a long time. Be sure to visit the tea room in the back when it's open. It's quite a garden, and the veranda? It's also nice to have matcha while sitting.

Pets are not allowed, but benches and tables are available, so you can eat sandwiches and bento lunches inside. I go there once or twice a year, but I like to go during the cherry blossom season. Eating lunch surrounded by the voluminous cherry blossoms will make you feel so warm and cheerful that you will want to sleep lol Another thing I recommend is the shop inside. I feel that the flowers and plants are more reasonable than buying them at other stores. I sometimes go there by car and buy in bulk, which is helpful.

I usually go for walks and stop by Shukugawa → Kitayama Pond → Kitayama Green Botanical Garden two or three times a week. In 2022, the autumn leaves will become beautiful in November. This is my favorite place on the walking course because the roses can be enjoyed for a long time and the colorful flowers change with the seasons.

Admission is free, and it's the perfect botanical garden when you want to spend some time relaxing🍁 The voices of birds, the sound of the wind, nature when you look around 🍀 A place full of small happiness☘️ You can also go by bus, but there are few buses so please check the return bus time before enjoying your trip☺️ As autumn is approaching, I would like to go again to enjoy the beautiful autumn leaves😌

It is an easily accessible green park, often accessed by bus from Shukugawa or by rental bicycle from Koyoen, where you can refresh yourself in nature with beautiful seasonal flowers and trees, just a few minutes from the city center. Bring your lunch box, have a leisurely picnic on the lawn, and take a walk while admiring the flowers. I like it because it's not too spacious and allows me to change my mood quickly. The park closes at 4pm, so it's best to get there early.

Even though many of the plants are well-maintained, they still preserve their natural beauty, which is amazing. It's next to the parking lot. Although it's not free.

Free and super relaxing. The selection of flowers were great too with a few small greenhouses. Definetely a great place for a walk!

I went to see the autumn leaves. It was very beautiful. Next time, when other flowers are in full bloom I would like to go there. There are buses, but they are infrequent. I tried to call a taxi from the botanical garden, but I was refused because there was no ride available nearby. I recommend going by car. The restrooms are all Japanese style, I thought it would be difficult for people with weak legs. There was also a disabled toilet. There was only one.
