Good german food. It was pretty busy, as we were there on Sunday, so the wait was expected. However, anyway we were served pretty quickly. Waiting staff was friendly. I liked the idea that I could by the beer separately to food. I forgot to take the pics of food, but look at this boy who arrived there 🤣

Beautiful location just outside of Regensburg, great for a leisurely 10km bike ride. The beer is excellent, but the food menu could include a few more veggie+vegan options.

Good food and view. Good service. Friendly dog who keeps on an eye on the biergarten. Beautiful historical monastery/church. Well worth a day (especially in good weather) spent up on the hill, or taking the well known trail through the forest and finishing up with a delicious meal at the top and an expansive view.

Wonderful food and view. Good service. Friendly dog who keeps an eye on the Biergarten. Beautiful historisch monastery. Well worth a day spent on the hill, or taking the trail through the forest and finishing up with the delicious meal and dunkles beer is a must. Panoramic views.

After making some kilometres with a bike. A landed in this beautiful place. As vegan, to eat in this kind of restaurants is not easy, for not saying that is impossible sometimes. But the lady on service just told me: go inside and talk with the chef. Went inside and after stopping him self to think how to solve my questions, he came out with two solutions. I eat well and went out really happy just by being heard from the staff at a typical Bavarian restaurant. Where usually there’s meet being cooked until the end of the day. Conclusion? They are good for ever type of tastes.

Went there for a medieval fantasy festival. It's a beautiful old monastery on top of a hill with spectacular views! I didn't eat there, but the beer they brew is delicious!

On Saturday, it was really busy and the service was really slow, waited nearly 30 mins to get served :( . however, here served the best Schweinshaxen (succulent and tasty and seasoning just right, not too salty) and Knödel (so soft and delicious) I've ever had. Prices for food and drinks are amazing. Nearly everyone came here for Schweinshaxen or the boneless one, so must arrived before 1pm as was overheard customers tried to order at 1.40pm, and it's all sold out. Highly recommended this place and must come if you like Schweinshaxen. I was told by local friend here famous of a dark beer but I'm not a alcohol drinker so can't comment it. The area is very nice as well, some small little pretty villages like Källmunz. When we were here, there was an open market (€2 entrance fee) and someone sell sausages with Semmel. A lot of parking here and it's free.
