Seeing that I am not able to reply to your comment I am writing a new review. My kids are 2 and 11 and with your reply to my comment it does sound like kids are not welcome because they are loud. In the booklet we have read it does state that the guests of the lodge are welcome to use the swimming pool. We were guests of the lodge however it seems when you are the pool you have to keep the kids as discreet as possible. Going to a lot of kids functions I can assure you that kids are not discreet when they are having fun. When having a problem with a child I would have rather taken it up with the parents. Therefore I would suggest you to have a no kids policy for your lodge to have a discreet environment.Thank you!!!

The facilities at this lodge are top notch. The view from the rooms and the pool is awe inspiring. Tim is a fantastic host. I have yet to stay at the lodge, but I have been there a few times and can highly recommend it.

It was excellent. We had 2 beds just off the river. We could hear animals most of the night. It was awesome. Tim was gracious. Saw the *Big Five*: lion, elephant, Cape buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros first day!!

This was our second stay at Bushwise after visiting last year and this year we were part of a group of friends that stayed for the weekend. The entire group couldn't have been more impressed. From the seamless booking & arrangements with Annette to the warm welcome and great facilities. The entertainment area in the main lodge offers unrivalled views of the Crocodile river and we were blessed with a permanent sighting of 2 hippos in the river for most of the weekend keeping us company during the day and at night. There is also lots of animal activity around the lodge itself and it was so special to wake up to a herd of Kudus and a duiker right outside our patio. Tim and Annette were very accommodating & available for our group and the lodge staff were equally wonderful in ensuring that all the facilities were neat and tidy. A shoutout must be given to the two guides that the lodge arranged for us (Dylan & Irving) who took us on a morning game drive in the Park. Lovely banter and a great morning out!

Wonderful personal lodge owner managed. Bedrooms are large and comfortable, cleaned daily. Activities are arranged for you by the lodge. The view from upstairs at the crocodile River is great. Definitely THE place in Marloth to relax and unwind. Thank you all.

After a warm welcome from Tim, we were shown to our room. Our room was spacious and clean, with an en-suite bathroom. Dinner was served on the upper-deck with an amazing view of the Crocodile river, and was very, very tasty, and the lady that served us was efficient. Thank you Tim and Anet for a lovely stay!

My first time in Kruger park was massively improved by the care and attention Tim and Annette give while staying at Bushwise. Tim picked us up from the airport and described what we were seeing on the drive with great detail. He also organized our tours for us and took us to the park every day for us to embark on our safaris. The dinners were all exceptional. And the two staff members responsible for upkeep and cooking were also very nice and made the best food. The rooms were all spacious and comfortable, however bugs will get in no matter how quick you shut the door. Moths are waiting for you to open it. The dipping pool was a nice reprieve from the heat, and Tim was usually around to offer a cold drink if we desired. The only real knock is the lack of service you would find at a larger hotel, drinks and snacks whenever you want essentially. But for the size, the price, and the location, it cannot be beat.

It's a beautiful place with a beautiful bush view for bush lovers, i loved the outdoor dinner seating under the stars with the sound of animal roaring on the background its a clean place with beautiful rooms and a big pool with a beautiful view. Though the staff is uninformed and never spoke english and their breakfast was not so good.
