I was reluctant to book reading the most recent reviews regarding the ablutions. Well we decided to take a chance and camp as a stop over to Mozambique. From phoning to book to reception and departure, friendly efficient service. Really made us feel welcome. The stands are lovely and we enjoyed the view with everything you need - tap, electricity, braai, shade and paved area. The ablutions were sparkling clean. The worst they can be accused of is that the decor may be outdated. The building appears to be old but we'll maintained and I certainly don't expect the latest is bathroom fashion when camping. Agree ablutions not accessible to the physically impaired. The rates are fair given the setting and available facilities. Lovely pool. We only had a beer at the restaurant but having a look at the menu, prices looks very reasonable.

Beautiful views of the Kruger National park. Clean and neat campsites. Ablution blocks clean, neat braai facilities. Each caravan site has own paving and shade net. Peaceful surroundings.

Food provided is basic standard and a bit overpriced. There is, however a very nice view over the Kruger National Park and different species of game can be seen in abundance, as they come to drink water 💦 from the Crocodile River in the immediate vicinity. Service is very slow and the waiters were rarely around. Most of the time we had to wait for any waiter and then ask them to tell our waiter that we need attendance. I would like to see overall improvement to satisfy one's taste buds better.

Henk Van Rooyen Campsites.... So, we booked for 5 nights at Henk van Rooyen, in Marloth Park. So, it's a bit of mixed emotions. Stands are lovely, especially the river front camping stands, the view over the Crocodile river is magical, as loads of wildlife pass by. Stands are paved, covered with shade netting , has 2 power outlets, a braai with a grid and a tap. Braais & bins are cleaned daily. All works great for our camping setup, nothing wow, very very standard, but acceptable. No issues with the stands, we had a great stand with wonderful wildlife sightings right from our chairs. The rates charged are quiet expensive vs other campsites, fair enough, in season and river front view, lets use that as the reason the rates are what they are. So my issue is with the ablution facilities, male and female are shockingly unacceptable- pathetic to say the least. As a paying customer one would expect a bit more cleanliness and well kept facilities in the ablutions- especially taking into consideration the rates charged and paid. The bathrooms are very outdated and small, although serviced in the mornings with clean floors and mirrors, the tiles in the showers appear to still look dirty with mould. No access available for physically impaired individuals, with damaged tiles and sinks which are hazardous to even those that are physically capable of maneuvering around in the small spaces. There is also a lack of space to keep ones clothes and towels dry, with limited hooks on each door- a broken plastic stool on the floor to try and keep your belongings dry during the shower. We would've preferred a shower door, or even a more practical/durable shower curtain. The bathrooms are definitely not up to standard of the expected camping facilities available in the Low Veld, or what you would expect from an otherwise well kept facility and grounds of Henk van Rooyen Park. Excellent holiday place,friendly people and nice restaurant and swimming pool. Keep up your service and helpfulness.

the chalets are very basic- bed was comfortable and I loved the bathroom, pity I did not take any photos... loved the view of crocodile river- saw some ellies, hippos and crocs

The parks swimming pool is green. The management of the shop/park is rude. Need to pay extra to use braai facilities. Not allowed to bring cooler boxes. But shop is stocked with minimum stock

Rented 5 person bungalo. Found 1 dubbel bed in open plan kitchen with foldable dubbelbed couch. Next room 2 x single beds. Toilet all cramped in. Fridge on an angle leaning forward. 4x towels for 5 persons. Not so impressed. Expected more when travelling halfway around the world to have nice accommodation.

Lovely clean swimming pool. I would love to see some comfortable benches though.

Load shedding from 17:00-21:00 every day.. they need to consider adding solar lights.. extremely dark even from 18:00.. I can't see anything when dark... road also very bad close to entrance..

It has a beautiful view and is on the crocodile river, so there is alot of bird and animal activity

Took the kids there for a swim cost R20 per person only if swimming. Otherwise free to go into place. They could do away with this in winter, it's understandable for summer. Pool area nice, clean and welcoming. They have weekend flee markets that we loved can buy anything from a slingshot, cakes, jewelry, biltong, biscuits, lotions etc. They have a great restaurant there with very reasonable prices. Jungle gym could do with some attention. Can buy food af shop by pool area very reasonable as well. Just hope that they can sort out the terrible sewerage smell.

We stayed here before in a chalet, and it was fabulous. Great animal sightings on the river. The restaurant is very popular, for good reason- the food is fabulous. The swimming pool is not heated, but the kids always enjoy it.

We only drove through to view the caravan stands. Looks very clean and neat, with the riverside stands under shade.

Super nice food!!!! Staff are so friendly. Loadshedding time candles are lit and it looks spectacular !

Price is very low at R20 p.p for the day. Very nice swimming facility. Grass all around and dedicated tabels and benches.

I don't have any information or experience of this place as I would like to visit the place but phoned about 10 times without anyone answering. I then semd an email but no reply. Seems to me like they are fully booked or just not interested in business.

A bit run down. Service not that great but food was good. Had the lunch buffet. Simple but well prepared.

Awesome place. Resturant has been upgraded beautifully. So happy they were busy. Overlooks crocodile river and looks into kruger.

This is one of the very few parts of Marloth Park where there are tended gardens. You can enjoy a swim in a nice and clean swimming pool, or lounge under the trees and have a picnic or eat some take aways. This is also a safe playing area for the younsters. You can also enjoy a cup of REAL COFFEE at the coffee shop. If you rather fancy something more formal, a stop at Amazing View Restaurant offers a view across the Crocodile river in the Kruger.

Lovely view. The food is tasty and always more than enough at the restaurant and at the swimming pool's little cafe. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Loved it.
