A peaceful and peaceful place to be to enjoy nature. See and take pictures of Hippos and crocodiles in the river. There is no access gate and you do not have to pay. Crocodile Bridge is only a few meters from the official Crocodile Gate into the Kruger National Park Enjoy your stay and don't forget to take pictures

In my opinion this is one of the best organised gates to enter the Kruger National Park. I like to prebook my day visits to make sure I am not disappointed when getting to the park. Just phone the bridge and pay online 123 then you are set. Also very nice that they have a coffee kiosk while you wait for the gate to open.

First time to the Kruger....what a dissappointment. If you are a day visitor with no booking..waiting for.more than 90 minutes. Still dont know if you are going to be let in! Can you please have better communication...little guy urging people to stop bumper to bumper..so to make the line shorter!!! How ridiculous. If you cant accomodate day visitors without bookings..then tell us so we dont sit for more than 90 minutes !!! Just tell us to go!! Waiting for 2 hours and 16 minutes...ridiculous! Will we ever go through the gates.

Excellent gate to enter from people and security are friendly and treat you well, follow the instructions and ubshould be inbthe park within a decent time. Gates can get busy in the school holidays especially in the mornings allow and cater for delays.

Getting into the Kruger National Park via crocodile bridge gate is a slow process

One of the best entrances to the park, friendly staff and not to busy. Just need to avoid the rush of the game drive vehicles on public holidays

An entrance to the Kruger National Park. Sometimes one can encounter hippos, crocodile, bird life, elephant and even occasionally lions here before officially entering the Park.

We pre-booked and paid for the 7 July 2023, 8 am slot. The first waiting gate was well organised and efficient. At the second gate the guards forced us to park in a row that NEVER MOVED for an hour. All the other non booked people could pay at the gates, and we were stuck in the office with two arrogant and confused staff members who tried to help tourist who wanted to purchase Golden Tickets. System down. Chaos. Took an hour to enter. We were not allowed to join the other ques of cars to go through the normal gate either. Total waste.

Busy gate for entering the KNP - but friendly staff and always willing to assist. Will definitely recommend pre-bookings especially during school holidays.
