My favorite waterfall in Hogsback, walk to the bottom very steep and slippery but worth it. Great pool at bottom to swim in. From there go on to Big Tree and M&C.

Here's how to get there: Starting from the Main Road, walk/drive down the Wolfridge Road. After about 1km (10-15min walk), there will be a gate on your right. If you are driving, you can park on the left side of Wolfrdige Rd where there is a little space and a small cliff....At the entrance, it will state that it is a private property but you may enter at own risk....Shortly after entering the gate, there will be a piggy trail sign to turn right. You will cross a wooden bridge on a tiny creek, which is actually the Tyume River...Shortly after that, the trail will split into two: to the left (going down), you will be walking along the river which will head to the Swallowtail Falls upper deck. I personally prefer to choose the right turn (straight) instead of going left, because you will be walking anyway along the river when you return to Wolfridge Rd and you will be facing the falls. There is a tiny falls called Nomthunji's Falls. There are stone benches around if you wish to rest for long.

Short walk with great walkways. No fees and an exceptional view of the valley below

It was wonderful to have been able to walk in nature to the most beatufull waterfalls in the area. The area is relatively clean and it seems as though most of the natural terrain is conserved. It was a very pleasant experience.

Beautiful location. Easy walk. Just stay away from the edge. It's a long way down...

Lovely hike, no fees, dog friendly. Get pretty muddy and slippery when there is rain (summer)

A magical and breathtaking view, coupled with the sublime roar of the falls. Worth a summer visit as the hydrangers provide an unbelievable atmosphere.

It is a very short walk to the top of the falls. The pathway is clearly marked. Good for a stroll with the kids.
