All I can say is WOW... Loved the quaint cozy vibe of this place. We got there a little early, but were asked inside straight away. Super tidy and clean. And the food is awesome. Huge portions...but so delicious 😋

Ate at this restaurant twice. The fire during winter months creates such a warm atmosphere and the restaurant is dimly lit with candles. This restaurant is quite surprising as they offer various items on the menu including Gluewein. They have a separate cozy bar section where you can exclusively go and watch sports. They were also willing to cater to a vegan pizza option with they did not have on the menu. I had this pizza twice, it had very fresh ingredients and was very tasty. Staff were very friendly yet and made a great attempt to keep everyone happy.

This place might not look like much from the outside; but let me tell you; don't judge a book by it's cover! We loved it so much; we had all of our meals there! The food is out of this world! The owner oversees all dishes; and the cooking staff is trained to perfection by the owner. The manager, James is attentive and not afraid to help out with serving! We had a wonderful experience everytime. The food is to die for!🥰 We had steaks; (perfection), Schnitzels; Spare Ribs, Eisbein & Chicken respectively. (We had to try everything after the first Steak!😁) The chips (fries) are unmatched!! And the fried onion rings are melt in the mouth!😍 If you don't eat here; you're missing out!!!

Had an amazing Eisbein, it was phenomenal. Service was very good and the wait wasn't long at all.

Cosy restaurant with big fire place. Burger special, R89 for 200g burger and chips. Good service and good food. Malva pudding was great.

Our visit to Hogsback was very memorable. The Lighthouse was a very good choice for lunch. Charming in a rustic way, with friendly attentive staff. Lots of parking. You can sit inside or outside. Our doggy was also welcomed. 🚻 on the premises. Food was tasty and very good value for money. There is a bar.
