三連休の狭間に来店の際の事、開店して10分程で満席になり、尚且つ、行列が絶えない(食事時でしたが…)！『まい泉』には個人的に思い出深い出来事があります…。10年ほど前に仕事先で、とある方から『まい泉』の『ヒレかつサンド』を頂いた際に、余りの美味しさに「こんなに美味しいヒレかつサンドがあるなんて…！」と、あの時の感動は鮮明に残っています。
正直、『まい泉』の『ヒレかつサンド』を食べてしまうと、他の類似の『ヒレかつサンド』は足元に及びません。
しかしながら、『ヒレかつサンド』だけでは無く…今回、『ミックスフライ膳』を注文して、食すると『ヒレかつ』は勿論ですが、『エビフライ』も大変、食べ応えが有り、冷めても舌を唸らせる程の美味！ご飯も進んで、気づくと…おかわりをしていました。セットの味噌汁を豚汁に代えると…流石、200円増し！具の豚肉が口に入れた途端に消えてしまう！『とんかつ』に拘る店の驚異を痛感しました(初めての経験です)。「恐れ入りました！」と、声になりそうでした。
『千切りキャベツ』の『おかわり』に何度か従業員の方が来ました(断り続けても容赦ないと思ったので３度目で受けました…)が、『千切りキャベツ』にも他店に負けない自信があるのだと思いました。私個人の感想ですが…『満腹感』と『満足感』の両方を得られたのは『珍しく、まれ』で、そういう『飲食店』はなかなか有りません(指折り数えるほど…)！
『庶民的』になりつつも、『高級感』を維持している所は???！
賛否両論は有りますが、店の雰囲気、従業員の接客態度(と客への最低限の配慮)、提供する料理などを総合して含めた全て私にしてみれば120点(100点以上なのは、当然です！)！
次回は店が混んでいない時に…。『繁忙』と『閑散』の違いが有るか否かを確かめたいです(良い意味での講評として…)。
