Giant mall with an assortment of small shops and a foreign movie theatre that shows movies in English. The mall itself has everything from Diesel clothes and Tiffanys famous wedding rings (although no sterling silver telephone dialers available, I asked) to American Chinese food and Krispy Kreme donuts. It's a great place to spend the day shopping. Literally surrounded by other mini malls there's plenty to explore and you can pretty much find anything. The train station serves as the heart of the mall so take the train to Kashiwa Station and you'll be in the thick of it once you walk onto the platform. Expensive for foreigners but normal pricing for Japan.

This place is pretty diverse. I really quite like it. However, for simplicity, I would recommend arriving by train to avoid the crowds of cars and tight parking. Still, driving is totally doable. Takashimaya and the other mall always confuses me with the separated buildings and connections on different levels. Still so many stores in an enclosed place...it is convenient.

Not the most expensive department store in Japan, but still on the upper end price wise. Very occasionally you'll find things the same price, or even cheaper than a supermarket, but that's more luck that regular pricing.

Kashiwa Takashimaya has almost everything I want to by. It has most popular designers brands, Seijo Ishii, Toraya, Tiffany and even Taimeiken.

The selection of sweets that you can find here is amazing. If you want to try a traditional japanese sweet with some european influence, specifically portuguese influence, you should try the 一六タルト (ichi roku tart). Totally delicious.

I love their bicycle parking. The best in town! Clean, well maintained and secured.

All staffs are polite and service is good. the lady who assisted me on Channel, Gucci and Revlon are all good, ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Expensive. Japanese Dept store. Name Brands. Crowded area. Parking lot is hard to find. I can read basic Japanese and can get around Japan fairly easy and it was hard to find it.

Loved this store - it's huge & you can literally buy anything there from cakes/meat to tents & bicycles. Was amazing
