we
booked
our
trip
with
Travel
Chapes
from
Delhi
to
Spiti
in
Aug
2020,
and
for
obvious
reasons,
we
couldn’t
go.
We
kept
waiting,
thinking
ki
“apna
time
kab
aayega
!”
and
finally
we
packed
our
bags
for
the
same
in
2022.
Surprisingly
we
booked
the
trip
for
3
friends,
and
ended
traveling
in
a
close
knitted
family
group
of
13.
We
all
went
in
quest
of
finding
adventure,
taking
a
break
from
our
usual
chores,
and
going
beyond
the
realm
of
usual,
easily
approachable
hillstations,
and
man
I
must
tell
you
what
a
life
changing
experience
it
has
been.
(It’ll
take
quite
a
few
weeks
to
get
out
of
the
hangover
of
this
trip
from
our
cerebrum).
A
place
where
oxygen
saturates,
vegetations
disappear,
Human
existence
curtails,
the
management
of
Travel
Chapes
prospered
like
anything.
I
never
expected
such
a
smoothly
managed
trip
and
the
credit
for
the
same
goes
to
the
group
captains(people
who
lead
the
group),
Rahul,
Raman.
These
people
were
the
best
part
about
the
trip.
We
travelled
to
the
bunch
of
locations
during
our
trip
(Hikkim,
key,
kibber,
chicham,
kaza)
and
the
stay
at
every
location
too
good.
And
as
I
mentioned
in
the
starting
apart
from
all
the
mind
boggling
experiences
we
had,
we
went
in
quest
of
having
an
adventure,
we
not
only
had
that
but
we
made
some
amazing
friend,
who
by
the
end
of
the
trip
eventually
became
family.
Thank
you
for
everything,
the
halt
of
2
years(corona)
was
worth
waiting
for
and
as
we
all
say
and
believe,
whatever
happens,
happens
for
the
best.
