Juan made my experience here amazing. He saw me bringing my bike in with a flat, pointed me where to go, and came and helped. He was super knowledgable, extremely friendly, and very courteous. One of the best experiences I've had at an REI. He had all his tools right available infront of him in his apron so I did not have to wait while he's searching for tools. He asked about my riding conditions and suggested tires that made the ride 10x more comfortable. I could not be happier. Give them a try for all your bike needs.

I stopped by this REI store while my wife was studying on the outdoor seating area near Paris Baguette. I wanted to see what items they had here and also what was on sale. When I walked in, I was surprise that this store is 2 floors. On the second floor it's mostly shoes and attires stuff. The bottom floor has more items like bikes, coolers, watches, clothing and etc. The store looks bigger inside and it's very welcoming. The store is kind of like a hidden gem inside this plaza.

Stopped into this area yesterday looking for some shoes for my daughter. We couldn’t find the shoes that we wanted but the store was great! As a dad with young kids it’s nice to have an easy access bathroom. The staff is super friendly, I mean like there were a lot of them that were there to help. We were able to shop around and look for some things which is ultimately couldn’t find what we wanted. The store is laid out really nicely. I’ve been to a number of areas and really appreciate the layout here. Something unique to us that we called ahead because they’re having a members only garage sale all the time. The woman who answered the phone was very kind. Actually all the staff were very kind. They were super helpful in the different sections that we were looking at. My daughter and I are planning to hike half dome later this year and so we’re trying to get some stuff ready. Really enjoyed this REI

Great selection of running and walking footwear 👟👟 Decided to ✅ out. NEIL & NAOMI took great care of me and hubby. They were busy but plenty of room to try shoes out and never felt rushed. Nice sale going on so able to score some nice walking shoes for both. Nice associates at cash register. 💪❤️💪❤️

I try to price match whenever I go to REI as I can usually find the stuff comparable to what's online the staff is definitely a big plus to going in person versus Amazon as they're way more knowledgeable than what I can usually find

Lots of things on the list to get here! Would be great to have a shopping spree it would be very easy to spend several hundreds or thousands of dollars at a time shoes, jackets, hoodies etc. Looking forward to that day

Good well kept clean store with a good selection. Mostly I come for climbing gear and workout clothing.

As usual with REI: very helpful staff, great selection of outdoor goods and I really like the ambience of their stores.

Exceptional shopping experience might have not found what I was looking for but Naomi assisted me with placing an online order to assure that I order the exact items I want by looking up the sku numbers and actually getting the items sent home for free... cheerful and helpful staff, knowledgeable..... thank you Cassidy for the patience at check out and for taking care of all us members...

The shoe department employees are top notch! Naomi and a gentleman with a white beard were so professional and I learned so much about the fit of hiking shoes. I have not had my foot measured in decades but Naomi did it to make sure I got the right size. EXCELLENT customer service!

FANTASTIC!!! Neal and Chris were very helpful and stayed with me until I got everything on my list.

Horrible service, went in there with my sister & her fiancé in search of some shoes since my brother in law is into disc golfing and not one but two different employees followed us in the store to make sure we were not stealing. Not a single look of acknowledgment or cordial greeting to ask if we needed any help or looking for something specific. Just followed us like we were criminals. Very upsetting to see the lack of training in this store and will likely never ever recommend anyone this store.

Wonderful place for outdoor gear! Get apparel for women, men, and children. Sale is on now. One thing though. Did not think A/C was on today. It felt stuffy especially upstairs.

Excellent customer service! I was buying quite a few things in different departments, and EVERYONE was wonderful, right from the greeters to the check-out.

Was nervous coming to a store I know I'm gonna spend more than I would online, but the workers were helpful and nice without trying to make me overspend for something I just don't need the best of the best for. I recently got a road bike but I'm not going to be riding for hours each day. I'm basically going to do short trips pulling my daughters in a bike trailer. So Michelle helped me pick a helmet and some bicycle accessories. I did the membership which was a great deal (lifetime) so I'll be back soon! 🥰 Maybe I could have spent a little less online, but I got things I know I love, and I was already in there buying a replacement for a helmet I bought on Amazon that was Meh. So I'm glad I went in!

I brought my bike in today with a few problems. Colby and Carson went out of their way to not only take care of the problem I was having, but also made some other tweaks to make sure my bike was in tip top shape. What an awesome team. Thank-you!

REI is my good to store for anything outdoors. I am a member and was the best $20 I've spent in my life. REI only carries quality brands and REI is also a quality brand. I always find what I'm looking for and have been a member since 2017. The staff have always been helpful and very knowledgeable on outdoor activities. I can't help myself when I go to the store and spend an hour looking around even if I go for one item. This is the place to go for outdoor gear. Become a member it's totally worth it. You'll get your money back in a way of a dividend if you shop often.

The bike technician voluntarily helped with my gear repair. I'm so grateful to him! Among three REI's in SFV and Burbank, this one is the friendliest. The staff members are always awesome!

Came in on 08/17/22, Mr Thomas, at the Bike/Cycling, Department, was outmost professional, friendly, & very helpful on why I came in. He helped me fix my spinning shoes and told me about its parts and even walked me through it too. Just GRATITUDE and HUMBLED and THANKFUL for your patience and conversations as well. Not the best customer service here. I was checking out sleeping bags and liners for at least 10min before anyone even acknowledged my presence. When someone finally offered assistance, she was helpful, so I appreciate that. The lady in the shoe department--not so much. I wonder how much experience and knowledge she actually has...or perhaps she didn't care so much because I was looking at socks instead of $$ shoes. Overall, I still spent about $200, but I won't be too eager to return to this location. I've had a better experience at their Burbank location.

Service to the customers is great. Went in looking for some hiking boots and walked out with more than what I was looking for.

A very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff that goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable and helped. The store has a good selection of products and lots of space, so it rarely feels crowded. The early pandemic supply issues have been resolved, and there are plenty of bikes available for browsing or test-rides. Update: The staff here is still awesome. They're always willing to go above and beyond, such as helping figure out how to fit a bike that's slightly too big into a trunk that's slightly too small.

Had Curtis build my brothers bike same day and under a hour.Very helpful and passionate about his job. Definitely coming back to this REI.

The employees working in the climbing area were super rad! Helped me look for a better sized harness than the one I was returning. They gave me great tips on fit and even grabbed me another size from the back to try on. I feel super happy with my purchases! They even have a rope to hang on to see how the harness feels. This location felt cozier than the Burbank location, had some really good vibes. I also think the climbing section had better selection than Burbank, but I'm not totally sure.

Visited this store to pick up an online ship to store order and received exceptional customer service. All the associates were very friendly and welcoming.

Had the worst experience with a worker that goes by they/them. I forgot they name. They had freckles and short hair. I went in to buy a Patagonia jacket and she tried to upsell the REI membership. I let her know I wasn’t interested, and she made the most ridiculous face and rolled her eyes. When I told her I wasn’t interested she made me feel less than for not wanting to purchase the $30 membership or whatever. She really had the audacity to tell me you’re about to spend $200 on a jacket and you don’t want to pay $30 for the membership and continue to roll her eyes never will I ever step foot in this REI because of they/them.

Poor treatment of customers. Bunch of younger people who feel they are better than you. REI brand deserves better staff. Wake up, and train your staff!

Cassidy was a huge help in getting me a pack fit and giving me suggestios on bagpacks and sleeping bags! Came in without any experience and walked out with a good general idea of what my preferences are. Thank you, Cassidy!
