Before moving away Pollard's Chicken was one of my favorite places to eat. Needless to say I was looking forward to some of their mouth-watering, delicious fried chicken. Even though I did carryout to a location 30 minutes away, everything was still quite warm when I opened it up to eat. Absolutely delicious fried chicken, seasoned green beans & mashed potatoes. The service was quick and courteous. For those dining in the dining area looked clean.

Came in tonight to pick my $70 order and as the front counter girl went to look to see if it was ready the manager told her to not come back there cuz there is a wait then, She had the nerve to get rude with me, because I order online instead of in the store. You guys really need to get ur customer service up to par. I will not ever come back here again and i do come at least once or twice a month. You will never get my money again.

I went there for the Roasted chicken. The chicken was tiny. The first time I had roasted chicken the chicken was bigger. The taste of the chicken was okay. The sides were small.The price went up and the size went down.

The staff are always very nice and accommodating! The puffs are my Fav with honey. They have a wide variety of meals and sides. But the fried chicken tenders and bbq are bomb... I've been coming here for years and I will keep returning.

I just had a three piece meal delivered via DoorDash. All I can say is I’m glad nobody was here to watch me devour it! 😂😂 Sooooo good! Everything was hot & fresh. Corn 🌽 on the cob was juicy & sweet, BEST mashed potatoes ever! I don’t know who’s in the kitchen but they are ON POINT today folks! Go get you some! 🐓🐔

Food was great they could have used some help at the counter one guy line almost out the door. But he was doing the best he could

Been wanting to try Pollatds Chicken after seeing the commercial on TV, see my pics attached, I got the 2 piece breast and wing wing fries, very good, the breast was fried excellent, wife got the chicken breast sandwich again which was done excellent, the pulled chicken BBQ dinner was great, we were very satisfied here. The facility area was very well kept and neat, we will come again when in Norfolk.

Food was trash. Chicken was yellow in fry color, not golden. Greens from a can were vinegar tastings. Puff bread was the only decent thing.

This is a true Southern Restaurant. Fried chicken and seafood along with southern sides. Staff was professional, courteous and helpful. Food was good.

Have been going to Pollard's since I was a kid. Always the exact same wonderful taste!

Don't get dinner after six pm. They served my dad dry chicken, the employees don't care about the food quality. They were nice but the quality of the food was horrible. Be sure to ask for fresh chicken when you go there.

I often find myself in the Norfolk area and consider it a treat to have a Pollards takeout for diner. Luckly, my favorite location on Tidewater survived the lock down and returned with a friendly staff and accommodating menu. Many thanks.

Pollards Chicken on Tidewater Drive in Norfolk had delicious fried chicken! I called out order in for pick up, the young man, Richard, who answered the phone was very nice, he answered all my questions and if he didn't have an answer he got me one. He was polite, ready back my order clearly. When i went in a lady greeted me and took payment, got my bag of food and then went through them to make sure my order was complete. She was awesome, i forgot to get her name. I told her about Richard and how nice he was and she said " that's awesome, he is new". He had overheard the conversation too and came out to say thank you. The chicken, puffs and Mac and cheese were wonderful. I could not give 5 stars because the coleslaw was awful. Possibly bad. All 3 of us pushed it aside on our plates so i asked my mother in law and husband why they hadn't eaten it. They hadn't wanted to complain but each said it was not good, only had 1 bite. That's all i took so i threw that side away. Other than that the experience was good.

Chicken was not good, foodlion fried chicken is much better than my 4 piece that day. The chicken livers however were very good. I think maybe it was just a bad chicken day.

This place used to have really bad customer service and sub par food but, holy cow they really got themselves together and are exceeding expectations. There was a nice lady named celestial she needs a raise she was so friendly made sure I got everything and wished me off 10/10

Ordered gizzards from this location and it was horrible. It was like a box of grease! The gizzards was in the box on top of the fries absolutely nothing to soak up the grease!! Stomach aches and bathroom runs is all I need to know to never eat another POLLARDS anything! I wanted to give then zero stars but it would not allow me to post!

I don't like the idea that the manager's split the tips with the employees and the managers make sure they get 40 hours before the employees get any hours. Someone needs to redo the management and pollards on tiewater dr. The managers get a nice salary. Should not take tips from the employees that just really earks me.

I was reading the reviews online and wanted to check it out. Well as soon as I went in I was greeted by a young lady with a big smile. She was very nice and helpful. The food came out and the lady who brought it put could not have been nicer. The customer service is great. I ordered three piece chicken thighs with coleslaw and potato salad. The chicken was so juicy and delicious. The potato salad had a great taste. The coleslaw was not that great but it was ok. One surprise was the puffs. They are really great with the honey. Thank you for making this a great experience.

Best chicken and sides that I've ever had. And I've had all over the country and even overseas. I don't know how they make it simple, yet not. Because it's done right. Other places can be hit or miss. But we've been going there for years, and each time it is excellent. I don't know how they do it. They even got me out of being a vegan, don't tell PETA on me.. I am truly thankful for them being right around the corner. If you haven't been, just go. I've not heard of anyone regretting it. The staff is great too. Love this place.
