So much fun and right next to the water. Plenty of room and the events here are amazing! Definitely recommend.

Visited during Harborfest. Years before there was always bigger and more tall ships, this year there was a couple. Plenty of food vendors... prices were high though! A few craft / artisan booths. Good music on multiple stages throughout the park. Plenty of police presence, so you felt safe, didn't see any issues while I was walking around. Big crowd.

Great experience during Harborfest! It's also beautiful anytime looking out on the Elizabeth River. There's a water feature for kids to play in. Right next to Waterside, making great food options readily available a short walk away.

This area is so nice and loved to walk along the river. We loved being able to play with my puppy. The movies in the park was also fun. I love that they have several benches to be able to take a break when you are out walking. There was a path that can be walked in many different ways so you don't get tired of taking the same path. I loved that there were steps near the Ship My pup loved to climb them every day.

Great events are happening there, the harbor festival is the best. A big thanks to Norfolk Police and the Coast Guards and other first responders for the outstanding work that makes everybody feel safe, particularly this year (2022).

Very cool downtown area, with plenty of local attractions. Check out the huge ship, with plenty of historical guidance from local volunteers. It seems almost every weekend is coordinated at the park; plenty of fun activities. Was able to catch a big international festival, with performers, food and drink, as well as lots of cool culture! Great place to bring family and friends to hangout.

Nice, clean, and quiet. I was walking the dog with my wife and got to see a cruise ship depart. Great place for a nighttime walk along the water; very cathartic.

We attended the Town Point Fall Wine Festival on Sunday. The park is a lovely location by the water and the event was a lot of fun. We missed some of the wine vendors since we attended on the second day, but it was still a great experience! The lines moved fairly quickly and everyone we met was so nice. The fashion was great, too! I love the artsy, diverse vibe in Norfolk! Even though it's an urban area, it's a city that still manages to be warm and welcoming. There's a lot to love about that.

Had a really nice time at the Harborfest. Perfect weather. Nice crowd. Bring your own snacks and drinks next time because lines are long for refreshments. The bands were excellent. And the fireworks over the harbor after dark were the perfect way to end the festivities. Plus the indoor restroom at the convention center nearby was clean!

The park near the waterside is nice has an amphitheater is very beautiful. We went for a business event which sponsored Town Point Virginia Wine Festival. We actually did NOT drink. I HIGHLY recommend you bring your phone fully charged with money for a taxi so you can get out of the awful rat maze parking situation. Call in advanced to leaving events for a taxi, the parking buildings are a bit scary, especially if you are NOT familiar with Norfolk. We parked in the Event Parking Town Point Park & DNC Events building at 113 Waterside Dr Norfolk, VA 23510. Long story short, WE parked toward back of parking garage on 4th floor then took the nearest elevator down to the main street. The elevator exit let US out the back doors of the building then apparently "automatically LOCK" you out onto the street. You CAN'T re- enter back into building! We did not know this! As the nite grew dark, we wanted to go home, so we walked back the same way to find out we were locked out of the garage. We thought this could not be! We thought possibly we went to the wrong building so we tried the next parking garage which actually let you enter inside. We soon realized this wasn't our garage. We started fearing the worse. Stuck in Norfolk in the dark out on the streets. HUNTING down how to enter this parking garage we circled 5 blocks entering ALL parking garages it was a freaking nightmare 🥺😭😱. We almost gave up. Then as we returned to Waterside DR. Someone was nice enough to tell us that you can only enter this one parking garage from the very front of this building and they walked us back to our buildings parking garage. We decided after this huge ordeal that NO event in Norfolk is worth risking our lives over. It's unfortunate, that a main parking garage would lock its own clients out of its building near a back elevator exit which more than 50 percent of its clients use nitely!! So for those NEW to NORFOLK, NEVER EVER park near the back or use the back elevators in this "event parking garage", because you will be locked outside fearing for your life, worrying were you parked for hours, all because this buildings owners decided locking entrance/exit doors near back elevator exits was a great idea. In fact it's the most dangerous idea for more than 50 percent of the clients using this building! If you want to be scared to death then park in the Event Parking Town Point Park & DNC EVENTS garage. At 113 Waterside DR. Trust me when I say this garage made me never want to ever park here again, and most likely never want to come to waterside ever again. $10. In the very scary LOT:Town Point Garage-Norfolk. OCT 22, 2023 AT 3:26PM DURING THE DAY. BY 7 PM WE FINALLY EXITED THIS SCARY PARKING GARAGE. 😨 😬

A great spot right on the water that hosts a variety of local events year round. Plenty of parking in the garages nearby. Many other attractions and places to eat are within walking distance.

Had a blast at the 2023 spring Town point wine festival. Loved the diverse crowd. The table of 8 was so convenient. Grilled sausage roll with peppers onions . So good. Wine slushy was my favorite! Purchased a bottle for a gift. Would love to go again
