Outstanding! Great menu, great food, great service. Chicago dog is a must have. Fries are perfectly cooked. Quick made to order selections. Great atmosphere. Uniquely decorated with plenty of seating. Catering area. Dine in, take out or drive through. Drive through is busy and backed up during peak times. People love this place

All the hype all these years and it was worth it!! So fun and good!! Service Staff was very friendly and helpful to us first timers. Place was clean, the dining room spotless and the restrooms were stocked and clean too! Menu was big yet simple. So many choices. Unfortunately on our visit the shake machine wasn't working and we heard how amazing the shakes were. Our group got the double cheese burger, the Italian meat sandwich, Chicago dog, chocolate cake, strawberry shortcake and drinks. GET THE CHEESE SAUCE! Fed a group of 10 for $115 and we did not order light. Prices were good. Lots and lots of seating in other rooms.

My friend took me there. Never been there before. I really enjoyed myself. Really good food. Nice employees, they are so friendly. Ambiance had me looking everywhere and everything. My friend is originally from Chicago area and she said it was just like going home again. I think the best part was just watching to see how happy she was.

In town for Special Olympics State Games. First time going here and very impressed. The food was very very good. The beef was drop the fork good. Dogs were great too. Wanted to go back the next day but the drive through had 32 cars in line! Next time though! We'll be back!

I'm from the Chicagoland area and have been to a few of the Portillo's locations and I've gotta say, this was the cleanest location I've visited. The floors are clean (not sticky) and the service was great. From ordering to picking up my meal at the counter, everyone was professional and friendly. The countertops, fountain drink area, tables, floors and bathrooms were all clean - they even had someone wiping down the doors handle after someone entered/left the establishment. I had a beef, wet, with giardiniera peppers, cheese fries and a large drink. Everything was hot and fresh. Would definitely stop in next time I'm in the area!

I've been disappointed with Portillo's lately, but it just might be my local location! This location has outside seating and a cute little section to purchase Portillo's memorabilia. I had the cheesy beef but didn't see any cheese. It still had a great taste. The fries were hot and delicious.

Driving through Illinois on our way to Missouri and we couldn't NOT stop to get a Chicago hot dog. The drive-through employees were awesome when I asked to add something to my order mid way through the line. Everyone was super accommodating. We had a large order between 2 cars and the order was 100% accurate. Great job!

I'd love to give this place five stars, but their service is so consistently terrible. When they make them correctly, their dogs are quite good. Not Vienna Beef good, but a respectable second. But... that service. Oh you ordered through the app? The app that knows we're bad and says we might miss the target pickup time by 10 minutes? Oh don't worry. It still won't be ready 10 minutes after the pickup time. And when you do finally pick it up 20-25 minutes after it was supposed to be ready, it might be ice cold. What's not to like?
