šŸ˜  The doctors here are amazing, normal hours and after hours BUT the billing department is a scam. They refuse to bill correctly and refuse to correct their coding to ensure insurance covers the bill like it should. 100% covered well child exams but they bill it as a routine check with normal finding... People often mention West, hours, staff, nurse, daughter, office, pediatrician, feel, good, call,

The doctors here are amazing, normal hours and after hours BUT the billing department is a scam. They refuse to bill correctly and refuse to correct their coding to ensure insurance covers the bill like it should. 100% covered well child exams but they bill it as a routine check with normal finding ensuring our insurance doesnā€™t pay it fully. They ā€œknow what they are doing because they are certified in bill codingā€ and giving the insurance company the run around. Now I get to fight it and report them for insurance fraud. If anyone has this issue as well, I imagine if this has happened to me since 2018 with 2 kids, others have had this issue as well. Please report them. This is insurance fraud.

I give it a 2 star simply on the fact that when my wife and I brought our new born in for his 2 month shots and wanted to space them out by a few weeks, we were told that we are no longer allowed to bring our baby there because we didnā€™t do all the shots right there on the spot. So we stuck to our plan and will go find a new pedestrian. The pediatrician should work with the parents not make it an ultimatum.

Weā€™re new to the area, having moved from North Carolina and away from our beloved health care providers; but we couldnā€™t be happier with Norman Pediatrics! The facility is clean, bright, and modern. The administrative staff was very professional both during scheduling and check-in. Dr. West and her nurse (Iā€™m blanking on her name!) were thorough and informative throughout the appointment. They made it easy for this first time mom to feel comfortable and confident in a new clinic ā€” also, my two month old rolled over 3 times (including the first time ever!) so clearly my baby was pretty impressed by Dr. West and her staff as well ; )

We love the staff and doctors, however we feel that now they are in the new building, prices have continue to rise and they nickel and dime you for everything!! Went for an annual checkup and asked about a wart, she said "oh we can take care of that" 10 seconds of nitrogen =$50 charge later. PLEASE tell patients UPFRONT if there MAY be a charge so that we can make the appropriate decision on whether it is worth it or not. Unacceptable!! If it was not for the doctors that we have had for 13+ years we would be looking elsewhere!!!

I would strongly recommend against going to Dr. Donna Jackson, her PA Tina or the lactation consultant at Norman Pediatrics if you are/plan to breastfeed. I almost quit breastfeeding because of their ignorance despite stronlgly wanting to and having great family support. My daughter was having latch issues, causing me pain, and not gaining weight for 2 months after she was born. I wanted desperately to breastfeed but it was not working. After asking multiple times if she could have a tongue tie and getting told no and tongue ties arenā€™t real/over diagnosed but also being able to give me a reason for why my baby was having trouble feeding and not gaining appropriately, I finally reached out to a pediatric dentist who specializes in tongue ties, found out my daughter did have a tongue tie and a lip tie and got it fixed. My daughter started feeding better and gaining weight after two weeks. I told this all to Dr. Jackson who denied that getting this fixed had anything to do with her weight gain and that it was a coincidence. They told me their is no real evidence behind tongue ties which is absolutely not true and they even went as far to tell me they have told Norman regional multiple times not to talk to new moms about tongue ties because they are tried if having to tell new moms thatā€™s not a problem. They are blatantly neglectful and dismissive on this topic and that is very alarming and concerning for what else they approach this way. Who knows how many moms have stopped breastfeeding for no other reason than Dr. Jackson, PA Tina and their lactation consultantā€™s misinformation and bad advice I also did not like that I couldnā€™t hold my daughter in my lap for shots which is way more comforting and was a technique taught to me by the Norman Health Department. It can be done safety but I was told at Norman pediatrics it was policy and to lay my daughter down on the table and help hold her down for shots which I do not like and think is so much scarier for children than having them be held by a caregiver. The only good thing I can say is I do appreciate that they always have on call staff for after hours and weekends.

I went here as a child. The office use to be a very conservative. Once Thom Kuhls left everything changed. I tried to bring my son in there a few year ago and they said they wouldnā€™t even see us because we did not want to do vaccines. They made myself and my wife feel like we were the worst parents because we didnā€™t agree with the vaccines. My daughter currently goes there and they seem fine with her. Looking to change.

WOULD HAVE GIVEN A 1 STAR IF I WAS GOING OFF OF WHAT WE'VE HAD OVER THE PAST 4 YEARS---- I am only NOT giving 5 STARS because we had some difficulty finding the RIGHT pediatrician when we first started here 4 years ago. BUT we have found Dr. Kristina (she's a PA, but we call her Dr. Kristina! Her office staff loves to RUDELY correct you that she's NOT a Dr which I think is just rude) but we absolutely LOVE HER!!!! She is SO sweet and understanding and my kid actually LIKES going to the Dr!!!! BOTH my child and I used to dread going in until we found the right one for us. The only downfall is the after hours clinic- you are at the mercy of whoever is there, which we've had some terrible terrible experiences with those Drs, but Kristina is the ONLY reason I rate it as a 4 and NOT LOWER...if it wasn't for her, I'd give them a 1 star to be honest. We also would have found a different office if it wasn't for her. I don't care much for their nurses or office staff either, they are all kinda short with you and aren't that friendly. They USED to have one that was just as friendly as could be, which when it's a PEDIATRICIANS OFFICE, you want to have nice friendly people with good bedside manner, for adults it doesn't matter as much. Even when you call in to make an appointment, they want you to hurry up and no matter who you're speaking to (even nurses), it's rush rush rush. Dr. Kristina definitely saved us as a patient, to keep us from going somewhere else. She is by far the best one they have!

Donna Jackson was our pediatrician. She was not friendly and made me feel stupid for asking questions. She would spend maybe two minutes with us during our appointments and every time I left with unanswered questions. As a new Mom I was made to feel inferior and that I had no idea what I was talking about if I had a question about something she suggested. A terrible experience every time we went.

HOW TO ACTUALLY USE REVIEWS If youā€™re looking for recs, check the 1-2 stars. If they are far and few between, donā€™t pay them too much mind. With that saidā€¦ Dr. West - couldnā€™t ask for someone better; I literally trust her with some of my greatest treasures Staff - no issues, quick to respond At the end of the day, doctors offices have to see patients. There are a lot of us. They do what they can. Cut them slack. If they donā€™t call you back, call them, pop up on them. If you get push back, find out why. Then make your decision on who they are as a business. Separate the provider from the business. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING

My son has been a patient of Dr. Malony's for the past 7 years. I can honestly say Dr. Malony is hands down the best pediatrician that could have ever walked through my hospital door after giving birth to my son. As a new mom, he gave me the sense of security that he genuinely cared about my son. He also encouraged me on our breastfeeding journey. My son loves his pediatrician. I will recommend Dr.Malony to everyone.

The nurses and doctors here are so amazing! You can tell they genuinely care and take pride in what they do. My list of good things to say about this place is endless.

Iā€™ve been coming here for a while, the practice has gotten much bigger. Iā€™m not sure if the nurses are stressed but they are becoming rude. Dr. Westā€™s nurse has changed a few times but the short brown hair nurse makes little rude remarks then smiles like it would make it better. Not sure if thatā€™s her personality but itā€™s not necessary lady. Sheā€™s also rude to my husband and a few of my friends also whose children also see Dr. West. Iā€™m never late or try to offend her in anyway but she gets visibly aggravated when I donā€™t answer her questions quick enough. Weā€™re not dense, we get your underhanded comments lady. Really happy with my new kids doctor although I did really like Dr. West, I dread seeing that nurse.

I literally can not say enough positive things about this clinic or the people whom work here. Melanie that works at the front desk... She is a pleasure to talk to, a go getter and you can tell she truly loves her job! She worked continuously with me on getting letters I needed for my child. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Melanie for being YOU!

My kids have been seeing Dr. West a few years now, and we love her! We always have the best experience! We were just there recently with strep throat. There is a nurse that works for Dr. West that always calls us back, she has short brown hair and her name is Shay. She is always so helpful, knowledgeable, patient, kind and cheerful! My kids love her because she makes the doctor fun when sometimes it does not feel fun! Thank you for being such a good nurse to all my kiddos Shay!

I have a very good experience of this place. I found Dr. West a very caring and helpful doctor. She is very sweet that my daughter was very happy when she left her office. Receptionist also greeted with smile. I'm glad that I listened to my friend to go there as our pediatrician was retired and is not easy to find a good one.

My daughter has been seeing Dr. Stoltenberg and Kristina for almost 2 years now and we adore them. They always take the best care of her and are now caring for my newborn as well. They always make my concerns feel valid even if they seem silly to me. (Trust me I have taken advantage of the nurses line and they are always so patient and helpful). I couldnā€™t have chosen a better pediatrician!

I really loved our doctor here, but we just switched peds because our experiences became more and more stressful trying to get in with long waits between appointments if their pre designated times didnā€™t work for us and unfriendly employees. The front office & appointment people need some training in people skills, and it does make a big difference if your experience when you bring multiple children along. The breastfeeding specialist is nice, but seems lacking in some training as well and was overall unhelpful, and I had to seek outside help to actually resolve our problems. If you donā€™t mind dealing with the office staff, the doctors are good, however just know there really isnā€™t room for an open conversation around your childā€™s health approach.

Addvertising an after hours clinic without an after hours clinic! We love our doctor there, Doctor Maloney, but son has been running a fever all day even with fever reducing mediece! I call the Norman Pediatric Answering Service and they inform me the after hours is from 5pm to 7pm. It's 5:30 when I called, so I go ahead and take my son up there. The doors were locked, no one was inside! If the after hours clinic person(s) had to leave for an emergency, that's fine, but inform the answering system you are leaving and that the clinic is closed. That way they can let parents know. The answering service also informed me that they had no way of getting in touch with the doctor/nurse in the office! They need to be able to contact the physician or nurse who is still inside the building. I dragged my sick 11 year old out of the house with a 102.2 fever and him laying down tired and fatiqued just for the answering service to inform me they have no idea what was going on with the staff. They had no idea why the doors were locked and no one was there! The service could not call to find out, either! Communication is important!
