Perfect stop along hwy 26 on our way from FL… well worth it ; kiddos stretched their legs and had a blast we came here 30 minutes until closing and still was worthwhile. Beautiful thoughtful play equipment some is adaptive for wheelchairs. Lots of benches fun features , music stations , educational pieces. I loved how they incorporated wild life and lots of tadpoles , croaking frogs , singing birds.

Well $5 admission is blah. The sprawling facilities they have certainly justify that fee, just not my style. Took the road bike around a really good mix of paved trails and roadways. Walked along the Saluda River and got some great photos. Definitely going to have to break out the kayak and fish it for trout.

Great place to bring the kids. Disability friendly and very fun playground. My kids love coming here and the events are always fun when they have them. They're expanding their other playground and can't wait to see it finished and see my kids play on it.

Mixed trails asphalt, concrete, bridges, grass, and dirt paths. There is plenty of space for bikers and runners as well as a fairly large dog park. Holiday lights display is a local tradition and worth the visit. Annual passes start at $60.00, and day passes are $5.00.

I'm unsure if there is a charge to enter, it is managed by the State. When I visited I was with a field trip. They have a variety of activities like dog parks, splash pad, boat landings and trails. There are very scenic views in the different trails one can walk. It also has a lot of Pokémon stops for those who want to walk and play.

Lovely park with a variety of facilities. Playground, paved trails, river access, dog park, picnic shelters with grills, multiple restrooms with water fountains, splash pad, kayak and boat launch, business and event center, nature and environmental information center, bird garden, and a large deck with strung lighting. Dogs are allowed on trails on leash.

Awesome park! My daughter was in love with the fact that there was a covered playground right next to the splash pad! The only thing I was unaware of was a $5 entry fee to get in the park. I was grateful to God I had some cash in my wallet that day!

Five dollar entry that is well worth access to the park and Leo's Landing too. This is a great place to kayak, stroll, or let the kids run around at the inclusive and recently expanded playground. At the playground, there is just about anything you could want. Swings, slides, climbing toys, reading area, hammocks, pretend play houses, musical instruments, covered picnic areas, misters, and clean bathrooms.

My family and I went to see the Christmas lights and it was so beautiful. There were so many different lights, train/hay ride, roasting marshmallows and pics with Santa. Fun for everyone in the family and cheap. We will be going back next year.

Great park, for toddlers and all ages. We took our toddler there, and he loved it. It's a huge park with a section called Leo's Landing, which is the place that kids mostly love. It has numerous structures, rides slides. It also has a small zip-line for ages 5 to 10 years. It even has a small place to sit back and read a book, with a selection of shared books in an owl shaped shelf. It also has a splash pad that would open this weekend, we still went to see it. It's a great place for kids n parents to hang out.

Awesome playgrounds! Great splash pad! I wish they’d change up the ground area by the playground near the splash pad though it gets super muddy. The new playground on the other side of the park is amazing. Gets a lot of direct sun, wish there were some sun shades but it’s super interactive and the kids love it.

Beautiful clean park, does cost $5 for a car load however we would easily pay again. The playground is pretty big and offers plenty of enriching activities for kids while being fenced in the majority of the area.

I started going to this park mainly because of the dog park. However, they have much more to offer that I still need to explore. My pack of huskies love it here! They love running freely in the 2 acre park. There are plenty of toys and balls for them to play with, two doggie pools, a water hose, a sandbox, benches, some agility course equipment, buckets and a hydrant for water, and a gazebo for owners to sit under. There are plenty of shaded areas for dogs to run around in as well. It also gives me peace of mind knowing that all dogs must be fully vaccinated to have access to the park. The park is secure with a passcode for that purpose. We really enjoy our visits and I can't wait to explore more activities at Saluda Shoals!

Yall! I cannot say enough about this place ! We spent $25 to see the lights. It was 3 of us and my granddaughter! There were SOOOO many. Well worth the drive ! We had so much fun. With a crazy economy this place is worth every single penny! They had a place to hangout, laser show santa, hot cocoa. Definitely a GO TO ! WILL be our annual trip from here on out !

I found this park to be really really nice! The splash pad is of good size had a gazebo for shade If it’s not rented. There are plenty of trees and benches to sit at with a perfect view of the park and splash pad. The all Inclusive park up the street was the kicker, it had so many places for kids to play, and it definitely encourages kids to play together. It’s a mixture of grass and turf. Obstacle courses, swings, a water mister, play houses and open areas. They also have 2 zip lines for young kids, and one for toddler sizes. All the equipment was in great condition, and at no point did I worry about the safety of my two kids. It’s $5 if you don’t have a membership for a whole car and it’s very much worth the price!

Been coming to this park for 21 years now, practically grew up here. $5 is absolutely worth it as there is a whole day's worth of activities for everyone. 3 different playgrounds, one of which is ADA friendly, splash pad, dog park, river access, swamp with boardwalk, paved trails (and even off the beaten path trails if you're a recluse like me) Only thing to note (which is not any fault of park management) is the current sewer project that City of cola is working on. Unfortunately, the rawls creek mains run right through the park.. so sadly the mile long green trail was razed. But good thing is most of the construction is done for the entire park (only crews by the front, which you can't hear), and trust Saluda Shoals has plans for the cleared areas in the future!

Wish they had more trash cans outside the environmental center and a few picnic tables. It's a really nice and clean park. Nice trails. Some maps scattered throughout the trails would be nice .. feels like we never ran into them. Will be back in a heartbeat though, just little things that could be improved!

I normally attend the Christmas lights here every year with my family, the kiddos definitely enjoy that but waiting in line if not there early enough puts a dent in my sanity and gas tank LOL! But all jokes aside it I usually a beautiful display and offers photo opportunities. Besides the holiday season this park is absolutely gorgeous and worth taking a stroll through. I believe they also allow kayaking and biking (don’t quote me on that though). They also have a play area!

We love the Christmas lights. We have been many times. Looks like they have even added some since last time we went. Restrooms are located at the beginning of the drive through then there is a place ¾ of the way through where you can stop and get out. They have restrooms, snacks, drinks, a gift shop, photos with santa, a walk through, a tube slide and a train & hay ride.

Great dog park with mostly friendly folk. Worth a yearly pass if you have a dog that needs friends. $5 admission. Also has kayaking rentals of you want to spend some time on the water. Many other venues I'll never use but to each their own.

👍👍 We really enjoyed this shady, scenic hike! Fairly busy traffic on the trails, lots of people with kids and/or pets. The waterfall is beautiful and refreshing.
