No offense to other fabulous North Indian specialty restaurants here in the Garden state, but Mithaas is the King of all. We've had very good experience both at the Edison and the Piscataway location and this one is no different. They have a great selection of sweets (Indian desserts), chaat items and main courses. Our most favorite is the Bhel puri which is second to none. The dishes here are really rich and creamy in taste, presented beautifully on the plate and explodes vividly in your mouth. The sweets are the best gifts you can get someone you are visiting as a family. They promptly advise you to finish them within few days as they are made of milk. Their customer service is also pretty decent and prompt. Parking is spacious and can never be a challenge.

A friend recommended this chaat place, and i was not disappointed. The chaat that was recommended to me by the staff, a chaat poori, tasted delicious. It was a great experience in a pleasant restaurant setting that gave the idea of sitting in a living room. The restaurant also has a large selection of fresh indian sweets. Recommeded.

The food has improved so much since last year. Very quick service. The portion sizes are more than enough. I highly recommend their Mithaas special thali and the Chinese options they have.

Visiting this place for the first time and loved the food and service. The taste was great, and the quantity was good. Highly recommend this place 👍

Overall, the food is good. Ambiance has gone down with torn upholstery, tables not maintained that does not give a pleasing experience to hang around. Cholesterol Bhature- Great taste Club Sandwich - decent Vada Pav - Spicy!! Lacked salt but overall good if you enjoy spicy food North Indian Thali - very good. Not overly greasy with oil and butter. If only they can be more hospitable and maintain the decor.

If you are a vegetarian or just want to go meatless this is a great choice. They specialize in Indian street food and also serve indo chinese cuisine. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from North to South India. The servers are very polite and courteous. The restaurant is a bit pricey . The restaurant is spacious and clean. Restrooms are not very clean though. My fav is Chole bhature and onion kachori.

Fast service, packed nicely, ordered our favorite dishes: dala tadka, garlic naan, rice, samosas, paneer tikka, aloo gobhi masala. SPDP: Sev Puri Dahi Puri was a nice combination - 4/5 Vada Pao: Vada was fresh and very good flavor - 5/5 Badam Milk: Pricey but sooo delicious! - 5/5 Vedmi Bhaji: As a Gujarati, i expected puran poli as Vedmi but it turned out to be masala puri which was awesome and went great with the potato Bhaji - 5/5 Manchao Soup: lots of noodles in the soup which was very flavorful - 4/5 Raj Kachori: The plate that it was served is quite small.. filling could have been better combination.. is I'll give it - 3/5 They also have lots of Indian sweet options..
