OH.MY.GOSH!!!! The food is SO good! I had a ribeye smothered in sautéed mushrooms and Swiss cheese. If you’re a fan of potato salad, prepare to be delighted. I started my meal with fried mushrooms, a personal favorite. The mushrooms are HUGE!!! Taylor took care of me with excellence, including recommending a drink that fit my budget. As a truck driver, I’m in the area regularly. Breck’s is now my go-to destination for good, affordable food and drink.

I hadn't eaten here in years. The service was good and the food was good. I was wanting country fried steak and it did not disappoint. It was really good. The Crab dip was a bit salty but other than that we enjoyed. Oan: out server was very attentive.

This place is a hidden gem. They have gigantic juicy delicious burgers, country fried steak cooked to perfection. They must have somebody's grandma in the kitchen blessing us with this cooked with love food. And their blue cheese dressing is to die for.

I took my son (24) to dinner here (his first) and it was amazing. We had fried mushrooms for the appetizer, I had the 20 Oz ribeye, baked potato and corn and he had the 20 Oz ribeye , Mac & cheese , fries! Everything was fantastic. Steaks cooked perfectly! Our server: Layla D. did an amazing job! Service was fast and efficient! Finished with 2 slices of German chocolate cake 😁 Would definitely recommend this place if you haven’t been!! Will be back again!!!

This was our 1st trip to Breck's in years and what a disappointment it was. I ordered the bone in ribeye steak and by far it was the worst steak I have ever received in a restaurant. My husband ordered the fried chicken special and his chicken tasted like old grease and was not completely done. We will not be back.

Great big bang for you buck for sure!!! It's not fancy steakhouse, so if you are looking for that you'll be disappointed. Locally & family owned, they put all their $ into giving the dinner a phenomenal deal 8oz FILET for 15$ & a 30 Oz sirloin for 22, comes with 2 sides. It's a must visit if your in Charleston SC

Ordered hamburger steak last night. Half the meat was still red inside when i got home. Salad was subpar. Ordered extra bacon and didn’t want other toppings. I got 2 lil pieces of bacon and extra topping i Didn’t requested. Please do better. Especially when i spend almost 6 bucks. Should’ve been a whole lot better.

Steak was awful. Ordered med rare they cooked it well done. Tough with no flavor. Paid my bill and left, will not be back.

Great southern comfort food. It was hot and fresh! Tastes like grandma’s home cooked meal.

Shrimp was not deveined. Absolutely disgusting. When we paid we told her what happened and she didn’t bother to take any action. Friends steak was raw.

I ordered steak, it was too thin making it over cooked and it was full of fat and gristle. I did not eat much of it. The rest of my food was good. The service was very good.

Our server Emily was very good and friendly no complaints there! However, we were charged $15 for two small slivers of cheesecake. When I asked the Manager Donnie if she could do something, her immediate response was no and " I don't make the pricing". I spent over $160 for our meal and didn't appreciate being over priced! Also, they charge you 4% to use a debit or cc and their ATM was conviently out of service in order to not be overcharged again. The food was ok, but not for the prices. Unfortunately won't be a returning customer.

My son and I recently had dinner here, and the food was awful! The mac and cheese looked like it had been prepared days ago and reheated several times since! It tasted like it too! The cheese on my baked potato was moldy. The fries were definitely cooked in old oil! They were saturated in it too! And my son's steak was full of gristle and raw in places! It took over 45 minutes to recieve this inedible food too! We will definitely not be returning! I should have known given how filthy the hanging lights are above the tables! Save your stomach and your money and avoid this place!!!!!!! I love supporting local businesses, but in this case I am angry that I did! It was an insult to serve us that food! It was literal garbage! They were also out of a lot of key items! That alone is an indication that management needs to be changed up in this place!

We had my small wedding party of about 20 there after our vows. The food was great as always. Layla was our server and she did a GREAT job!! She was attentive and even went out of her way to bring a fan for my dad with breathing issues, because the back room did get a little hot (my only complaint but I was also in a wedding dress haha). I will always recommend Brecks to anyone looking for great food. Their steaks are always cooked to perfection, the appetizers are great and don’t even get me started on the Blue Cheese! The prices are affordable-can’t beat it! I mean $23 for an 30oz sirloin and 2 sides?! Everyone was pleased and I couldn’t have asked for better food or service! Thank you to everyone who helped my last minute big day go smoothly!

We tried Brecks years ago with a bad experience but after recent posts on social media with how much they have changed we decided to try again today. Seated ourselves when we entered and greeted about 5-7 minutes later. Order our drinks and food and waited for 50 minutes. The place was not busy at all. Fried mushrooms for app, 2 burgers, Kids spaghetti, oyster Poboy and fried fish platter. I ask the waiter if they had a horseradish sauce we could add with the mushrooms and she replied yes. They came out 15 min later with ranch only. Okay not a huge deal but after seeing someone rave how good it was I wanted to try it. The ranch that it came with was excellent!! We had no plates to eat off off and I asked for her to bring some, which they never did. So we ate them off our napkins. They were pretty good but we’ve had better. Poboy and fish came out first and waited another 10 min for the burgers and spaghetti. Burgers had no flavor what soever. It was like eating plain ground beef. Spaghetti was completely watered down. I only ate the oysters from the sandwich because for one the roll was not toasted and way oversized for the meal. Fish wasn’t bad, but a big portion. Waiter was non existent and very unfriendly when she did show up. I really wished we had a better experience and we try to support small businesses but just can’t after this visit.

Very friendly service. This place has a long history of good food at reasonable prices. My dad tells me stories of this being a regular place for him and his buddies all the way back in the 60's.

Heard a lot about this restaurant and decided to try it out. The food came out hot and fresh and fast. The employees were nice and the restaurant was very clean. The only part that I did not like that the employees were sitting at a table when we walked in the door. You have to seat yourself so that's the best part. I would definitely be coming back to this restaurant my experience was great and their fries are so delicious.

I have been a customer of Breck's for many years and the food and portion sizes were very suitable and tasty back then. However now, the Rib-eye Steak was very tough with a lot of fat clunks. We had trouble cutting and chewing it; could not eat it for fear of getting indigestion from the tough steak. Green beans and the carrots portion size were very small and tasted like it was dumped out of the can with no seasoning at all tasting very bland. The Mac & cheese and cabbage were absolutely delicious, however the portion size was very, very small. The waitress services were exceptional. Don't know if we will be willing to come back to Breck's if no change in future improvements.

Fresh food. Good service and, a nice bar. 30 oz steak was split for two. Fried oysters were my favorite.
